Just an FYI  (from a liberal in a red state)......
I can promise you....it is illegal to fire guns into any street. 

Your case might be take longer to process at the consulate, due to background checks. 
 
I recommend that you don't post that kind of picture. Americans are nuts. It is absurd that people in the US can fire arms to the street in some states, but they report you to the FBI and DHS. 

I had my interview in Cairo.  They asked me how long have we been married.  If we have children.  What do I and my husband do for living. And what am I granted visa what am I planning for.  One of the important things to do which helped me is to get a police report from any country that you lived for a year to avoid delay.  

No don't worry.  Sometimes it takes up to 8 months for a case to be approved by the USCIS.  And also try to call them.

I see you are from Egypt too (or at least sponsoring an Egyptian spouse). I heard the Nebraska service center is kinda slow. How long did it take you to get approved there?

Look maybe the mistake was that she stayed this long without visiting her country.  I feel her because I had the same experience. The problem is if she leaves she will be banned from US entry again.  So I think try to convince her or try to go to marriage counseling.  It will be very hard for her to work.  But I would find out what is her best interest and encourage her to volunteer in it just to keep her busy and convince her to wait for a few months to do her AOS then travel for sometime then she will feel better
