Well I just looked at a spreadsheet that was started for the service center in Nebraska, where my I751 was sent. Folks who applied for their 10 year in December of 2018 have only received their biometrics letter THIS JULY! So tired of all of this. So, some of you that have received your biometrics letter a little after 30 days, be grateful!
Just relax. Getting your biometrics letter early doesn't mean you'll get approved early.
Actually, since biometrics expire after 15 months, to me it makes more sense to get your biometrics taken by the end of the process, when someone is looking at your case, rather than at the beginning, when your case will be put on a pile without being touched in over a year, with the risk of them expiring and having to take them again.

Congrats all who received NOA! What is the next status that should appear online on USCIS site? Now it’s: “we received the case, blablabla”. Will we be able to see when a letter for fingerprints is mailed ( or waiver for fingerprints)?
The status doesn't change when they mail you a biometrics letter, it only changes after you've done your biometrics.

I have a USPS tracking number.
It arrived at the Dallas network distribution center on the 23rd. Ever since then I get an update every day around 2 PM saying that my packet is in transit to the next facility.
So I don't know if USCIS received it or if it's still with USPS.
Someone from USCIS was supposed to sign it but I didn't even get that update. I'm also still waiting for the text message with my case number.
I mailed my packet on the 22nd, same as you, and my credit card was just charged this morning.
If you have a tracking number and it was supposed to be signed, contact USPS.

I decided to call USCIS this coming Wednesday to see if they have received the packet. I I should have received my case number via text message by now.
Still nothing.
If USCIS tells me that they haven't received anything I will send out a new packet with UPS and cancel the check.
I mailed my packet the same day as you and I haven't received any notifications or texts or anything yet. It takes a while. If I were you I would contact USPS first.

I've been getting this "in transit to the next facility" every day since Wednesday.
It's just weird because it has never happened before...
I meant that IF USCIS should magically receive it but I canceled the check. They would return the package to me to let me know that they were not able to cash the check, right?
I'll wait a few more days but I'm getting more impatient every day. I try not to but it's not easy of you don't get a better update than this.
Sorry to hear that. 😕 I'd ask USPS why the same update since Wednesday and I'd probably go to the post office where I mailed it from to talk to a real person. Idk, hope it all works out for you.

Mine was delivered today at 4:40am lol. I don't know how much to trust these updates.

Does anyone know if they would still cash the check if a person filed early? Just wondering...
No, I think they return the packet without cashing it.

Mailed my packet today. And the wait begins.

I just started preparing my package today. Will send it in 3 weeks. Good luck everyone!

Finally news on my AOS case! Yesterday I got a notification that "new card is being produced", which means my green card has been approved without an interview (adjusting from K-1).
In September though, I received a letter saying that they needed a new medical exam and some proofs of relationship, which I sent 2 weeks later. Finally my case has been approved and I don't have to worry about immigration for the next 2 years.
Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Hi everybody! Hope you're all doing well.
Today I got a letter from my local office saying that they need more information on my case before making a decision. I am assuming that is an RFE, but my online status didn't change from Fingerprint Fee was Received. Good thing the mail system worked.
They want the I-693 even though my physical abroad was in January (less than a year) and my vaccinations were marked as complete. So yay, pay again for a physical! They also want evidence of our relationship.
I have one month to send these documents, and hopefully they approve my case soon after they receive them.

Hello all,
Day 102 or 103 today with no RFE/RFIE, and I have just successfully submitted my first Service Request for EAD. Confirmation page says I should expect a reply by July 26. I am fervently praying that it doesn't take that long for them to process and work on my SR. 🙏🏼
Good luck! I received an answer to my SR 2 hours after my EAD was approved, so it might have had an influence, who knows. Hope it works for you and get it soon!

Did you receive an RFE?
No, I didn't.

Day 94 and still nothing. If I don't receive an update by the end of the day I'll submit a service request.

I'm on day 86 and still waiting.

I had one question though for those of you have received the card or have their EAD status update:
Since they produce an EAD/AP combo card now instead of separate documents/cards, shouldn't the status for the I-131 also change? I only see the change for EAD, in my case.
I don't have the card yet, but I've seen in other posts that it doesn't usually change, so don't worry.

The box on the bottom that says "US vaccination requirements complete" isn't checked, so you will definitely have to go to a civil surgeon. You can do it now and send the I-693 with your AOS package or send the package without it and wait for a RFE or even wait until the interview to see a doctor.
As for the MMR and varicella, you will need shots, unless you can prove you have antibodies with a blood test.

I lived in CT previously with a J1 visa and you can drive here with an international license for up to a year. Later I got my CT license and surprisingly it expires after 6 years of issuance, like a regular license, instead of when the i-94 does.
-
I saw in the March thread that some late march filers already got their EADs approved. We're getting closer.
-
From your timeline I see that you came with a k1 visa, in which case you didn't need to send any proof of relationship in the first place, except for a copy of your marriage certificate. I don't understand why they're requesting any of those documents you mentioned, you would only need them at an interview.
As for the medical exam, you can resend the DS-3025, but make sure all vaccinations are marked as complete. If they're not, you'd need to see a civil surgeon.
