I submitted our case inquiry for EAD going beyond 75 days without update last Wednesday.  The automated reply said to expect a response by August 10.  Seems like they were faster about replying to email inquiries during the K1 process, haha.

Still no updates here, and no update on the inquiry about having no updates.

Just wanted to provide you all with an update 😜

Patience is key, also a virtue.  Humor too!  Hang in there folks!

Yeah AP is just a document that allows you to re-enter the US as far as I understand, will try to research further to be sure

    Congrats MccSya!

Today, I submitted a case inquiry / SR for our EAD being outside normal processing times - reason no update in more than 75 days.  Will let you all know what happens.  EAD received May 3, biometrics completed June 1 for all 3 applications, case status still "Case was received" since May 3, cases are at NBC

I just realized that you meant getting into other countries with your Philippines passport, right? That I am not sure of how it works, probably depends on the country you are going to, sorry if I misunderstood in my previous reply 😊

    Hi all,

My EAD status has not changed since they received my application on the 4th and 5th of May respectively (still says 'Case Received' on my EAD application and 'Fingerprint fee received' on my AOS application)

I just called USCIS and put in a service request for my EAD application. Biometrics were completed on June 1st with no RFE's before hand.

Waiting patiently for a response and will update once i hear back.

good luck and respect to you all, its been a ride i won't forget.

    Best,

    G

P.S - one thing the guy on the phone mentioned to me was to MAKE SURE i am registered with USPS to receive mail my address. He mentioned that sometimes if the person isn't registered when sending out the actual EAD or GREEN cards, they may get bounced back and delay things further. ....might be obvious to some but just a heads up in case.

Sending thoughts and prayers your way, did you have an EAD application too?  Maybe that one won't be reset, I'd read up on that.  Sounds like it's only for the AOS, which can take anywhere from 90 days up to 3 years to get.  EAD and AP will work to keep you functioning like a citizen until AOS goes through at least.  Conversely, I've seen some other posts on here where they received RFE and then got an interview and filed around the same time I did, while you and I are still waiting to hear back

Howdy everyone I would like to share some information on my SR done today 75 days since PD 04/28/2017. So I put in a SR for my EAD today online on USCIS website and got this message below:
"As of July 12, 2017, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SR11******************, is currently not assigned for processing."

Has anyone here experience anything like this? Please share your experiences.

Wait a few hours to a day, most SR's for EAD expedite get assigned the same day.  If its not assigned by COB tomorrow there may be something up, but nothing to be concerned with at the moment.

If you can afford to wait at all on the trip, I agree with others who suggested getting in AOS in asap and do the emergency AP, contact congressman for help to speed up emergency AP if possible.  Sorry you are dealing with this problem.  Here is some information about emergency AP:

So, I'm still wondering if anyone who hasn't done expedite and hasn't had any RFE has heard back anything after having done biometrics - for EAD/AP or AOS?  My wife's AOS still says it's at NBC as "Fingerprint Fee Accepted", since May 3 (biometrics since June 1) - and EAD/AP still say "Case was received".  Getting anxious for a response of some kind, considering EAD/AP should be done in a little more than a month by estimates on here.

Safe travels EMBELL, Trump stuff is scary for sure, but I think you don't have anything to worry since you're going to Jamaica.  Congrats on getting your approvals and cards, I hope you have a fun trip and can spend some time forgetting about all this for a bit

There are so many different circumstances with which people are applying for EAD and the applying to expedite.  In all of those circumstances, those approved have proven on paper that they require expedited EAD because they are under severe financial duress, and because they can show that they either have a job offer in hand that will expire soon or they already have a job and are in the process of renewing their EAD and don't want to lose said job.

This is just a long process for all of us, hang in there.  We are all here to support you.  You too can apply to expedite your EAD if you can prove the requirements on paper.

    good luck, and God bless

I think with this process, no news is good news is kind of the best until you get out to like the 90 day mark basically after biometrics.

    Update from us;  No status change last night on the USCIS site, called this AM And rep told us to wait up to 5 days for additional action on if anything else will be needed to approve/deny the expedite request. Didn't even ask for the job offer letter yet. We went ahead and contacted the senator since feel like July 10th is kind of close.. even if we push back a week or 2 with mailing time and things. Replied asking for privacy release, which we sent along with a letter, copy of letter, bio appointment form, and our NOA's. Received a response;

    "
My office has reviewed the information you provided and has contacted the proper officials expressing my interest in the matter.  We have requested that a report be given regarding this case. As soon as we have something to report, my office will be back in touch with you.
Please note, it may take the agency up to 45 days to provide my office with a status update on your particular issue. Rest assured, my staff will make will make every effort to keep you apprised of any information regarding your inquiry."

Assuming a canned response but at least a good response. Hoping for an update before the 10th but we will see!

No update here just yet, we did my wife's biometrics on June 1st and we've been checking myuscis every day.  It still says the same thing it did when they sent out our first NOAs - Fingerprint Fee Received (485), and Case was Received (765 and 131).

We are patiently waiting for an update.  Congrats to everyone who has heard back on their EADs too, and good luck and God bless those still waiting or dealing with RFEs, we will all help each other through this process

Fingerprints done today...about 20 minutes drive from where we live, It took us 1 hour cause I spent about 30 minutes of the time chasing my toddler around in the bio office and he wouldn't stay still for a picture , kept doing silly faces for the camera  and oh the agent was so patient and nice.

I'm glad I took the advise on this forum to take my marriage certificate along because of the name change.

    Best wishes everyone.

We did my wife's biometrics appointment this morning for AOS, EAD, AP from K1 at the Long Island City USCIS office in New York.  Here's our experience:

1.) wait in line for security desk, show biometrics receipt notice and passport
2.) sit down, fill out paperwork - wife put down all 3 receipt notice numbers for AOS, EAD, and AP
3.) back in line at security desk, asked for marriage cert because passport last name differs from married name we put on application and listed on receipt notices
4.) sit again and wait to speak to USCIS agent about last name change, while waiting we noticed that the security didn't list our receipt notice number for AP, only for EAD and AOS
5.) back to security to fix that, they didn't know what to do and told us to wait and ask the agent
6.) waiting for agent again in seats, agent came out of her office, viewed all our forms, told us that we didn't need the AP receipt on the form we received because EAD and AP are a combo card, wrote notes about approving last name change, gave us a number to wait in another set of seats for biometrics, took about 15 min total
7.) waited for about 30-45 min for our number to be called, wife went and had her fingerprints and photo taken.  Agent had trouble getting good fingerprints because my wife gets sweaty palms sometimes and it happened this morning.  Agent said we were good to go, if fingerprints had any problems they would call us back to do them again, potentially at a police office

No updates yet on USCIS track after completing this mornings biometrics, will update you all when we get an update.

Cheers, good luck, and God bless
