Congrats...i file July 17 hope I hear from them soon

I just got an update today saying my card is being produced. Here's my timeline for those who are interested. 
Mail date: 7/15/17
Receipt Date: 7/20/17
N-400 Filing: 6/11/18
I-751 Approval Date: 6/25/18
Processing Center: VSC
 
No interview or RFE.

I see they are planning for things to just get worse

If they are laying all these people off, why do they have 64 job postings on their website, with a good chunk of them being processing official, clerk, etc. Some high end director position to. I'm sending over my resume now. Maybe I can get hired at the CSC, find my petition, approve it, then put in my two weeks notice. LOL

Nope.  I checked ours today and it said 2-26-18.  2 days ago.   You are not correct.

My son has his interview on august 8 it is not required for me to be there ..it could depend on your embassy as for registration you need to go ahead and register it provides them with the information to return your passport back to you

No, you are misreading.  Nothing in your quote says filing for naturalization cannot be filed while ROC is still pending.
It says that naturalization will not be approved while ROC is pending.
Further it says, that both can be adjudicated concurrently.  Concurrently means 'together at the same time.'

Ugh...I believe the quote from USCIS is indicating that you can file for N400 with pending ROC but it just won't get approved until ROC is approved first. This is what we were told by our immigration attorney last year as well.

I don't see a reason for any confusion here - you received GC before 2nd yr marriage anniversary- you get to do ROC.
 
Why would you even think about asking IO to delay approval just so you could skip ROC?  

Are you sure this was an attorney?  Something is wrong here.....very wrong.
FIRE YOUR ATTORNEY IMMEDIATELY!!!  A REAL attorney will give you better information.
I would immediately report your attorney to the state bar association....

You also have to live in reality.  The reality is that as of now most of these ppl are American. They know no other country. They are not to blame... the US has invested tons of money into them already. An investment that will only be returned by letting them stay. Not only does this decision make no sense from a humanitarian point of view - but if the economy is your argument it also makes no sense..  you'll have a hard time arguing that they are criminals since there are requirements on DACA applicants that prevent that. 

And nothing takes a week.

i finally get my interview date for october  

Interview today in two hours, wishing my husband good luck!

POE will be tomorrow! After receiving just 8 days between issued and expiration date. We decided to just go ahead and book my wife's flight for tomorrow 8/30. Her visa expires on that same date so I made sure I called the visa service desk and they told me she would have to come to the U.S on or before the 30th. God willing everything will be fine and this journey will be over soon.

Received notification passport is ready for pick up!  Will pick up 8/30/2017 AEG Islamabad.  Ticket also booked for next week!  No worries, I won't have to pay for changes or refund should something go wrong.    
 
8/24/2017 - Visa Approved.  CEAC status:  ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING
8/25/2017 - CEAC STATUS:  ISSUED.
8/26, 8/27, 8/28 - CEAC STATUS:  ISSUED with Last Update as of 8/25/2017
8/29 - CEAC STATUS:   ISSUED with Last Update as of 8/29/2017.  E-mail received for passport.  Called to confirm.   
 
Next Week POE - JFK.  One way ticket.  Very expensive though.

VJ members visa approved today interview was in Islamabad US embassy overall experiance was good waiting time was too long and inter was just 5 minutes long thats it

No i have seen people in ap for 1 year and still get approve it depends on the consulate some have longer ap than others
