  1. Great. Nice predicament to leave the 2nd wife in. Probably also from a country where she can’t do anything to better her situation. Great question!
  2. If you’re really worried, why would you have her travel at all? Seems the safest option would be to stay home.
  3. If you are asking whether you can conceal a criminal past from a potential spouse, then no, you cannot. Which is precisely why these laws and forms exist. You would also need to evaluate whether it would be ideal for the foreign finance to learn of a criminal past at the actual visa interview.
  4. With the bigamy issue, this is not a DIY. You will have to spend money on legal help.
  5. I think you're missing some very basic information about no-fault divorce and immigration law. You need to do some reading and get legal help. One thing to keep in mind if you go full-on down the "marriage fraud" route is that YOU were party to all of the info submitted as evidence of a bonafide marriage. Hopefully your plans do not backfire on you.
  6. You're still on the hook for the I-864 that you signed.
  7. What about all the evidence you initially sent for her GC? Don't you worry about the fact that you both attested to the marriage as being real?
  8. You cannot work remotely without a green card or EAD (employment auth). You can visit while waiting for an immigrant visa (subject to CBP admitting you), but you cannot work/live in the US during the process. Montreal in general has a very long queue, so you will need to rethink your timeline.
  9. Not surprising. I’ve seen people here on VJ wanting to file WOMs after 6 months of normal processing.
  10. One of the growth factor injections I administer to cancer patients after chemo is $6,400 per dose, every two weeks. For a subcutaneous injection (~0.5 ml volume) that takes seconds to inject. As expected, the actual chemotherapy/immunotherapy drugs are much, much more.
  11. I assume this is a rhetorical question. Obviously, health care in the United States is VERY expensive. A cancer diagnosis can easily bankrupt a family. It may not be *required,* but it is *responsible* to care about providing health insurance when you bring over an immigrant.
  12. Travel insurance doesn't cover residents of the US. She will need regular health insurance.
  13. You won’t get an extension- USCIS doesn’t admit people at the border, CBP does. No one is “owed” a 6 month visit. This is bordering on abuse of B-2 and you risk losing the privilege.
  14. People are responding to your question above, about how it could be an issue.
  15. Cancelling petitions doesn't mean they are "erased" from the system. Your immigrant intent and filing history remains on file.
  16. CBP may wonder how she can afford to take such a long break from work. Hopefully she realizes she cannot work while in the US, including working remotely for a foreign employer.
  17. Three months' supply of prescription medications for personal use is a totally reasonable amount to bring. Make sure they're all in the original pharmacy container with his name and the name of the drug. Do not bring ANY form of cannabis whatsoever, even if it is an Rx. Personally, I'd get cold packs for anything that must be refrigerated. Otherwise, you won't know whether it was kept at the recommended temps for the entire trip. I would stash it in the hand luggage vs checked bag. Amazon sells TSA-approved zippered thermal packs for medications that you can stick ice packs into.
  18. Think about it. No one goes on a "vacation" and then can simply uproot their lives and not come home. Unlike many Filipinos, she was given the privilege of a B-2. She has clear immigrant intent. Don't defraud the United States simply because you are disappointed that you have to wait in the queue like everyone else.
  19. Why have you not filed an I-130 petition for your spouse? That is the most common and straightforward way of getting him an immigrant visa.
  20. You're not being singled out. This is an issue for Pakistani males, for a variety of reasons, such as bad behavior and crimes committed by fellow Pakistanis, and lack of record-keeping in Pakistan. Had he been interviewed in Islamabad, the outcome would be the same.
  21. Yes, if it impacts your income. You will need to show evidence of current income, as per paystubs. You may need a joint sponsor if you time your pregnancy to coincide.
