  1. Wife just got her Naturalization Certificate mailed back to her today after applying for her passport in early May 2023. Immigration is a rap now, done book closed visa journey over!!!
  2. In the Philippines you might want to try to grease the squeaky wheel...nuff said! We greased that wheel many times when other approaches failed. It's a way of life in the Philippines.
  3. Can not see your time line to determine which country you are coming from, but if it is the Philippines its most likely x-rays and or a CD! If so they will give it back to you upon entry into the US.
  4. As everyone here has said filing your N400 as soon as eligible will greatly jump start your I-751 if it gets backlogged. We filed the I-751 in January 2022 and filed the N-400 as soon as eligible in January 2023. The N-400 was approved and oath taken in April 2023. I-751 was approved also but only as an afterthought it seems. We did not get a 10 year green card naturally. File your N-400 as soon as eligible!
  5. No she had a combo interview all by herself. I waited in the car in the parking lot. She did tell the IO that I was out in the car. Just take ALL your 751 documents along with your N400 documents and you'll be fine.
  6. That apparently was a good thing, they had a few things to verify and you aced it. You'll be getting further details soon about your combo interview as they so much as said you'll have a combo interview. Congrats!
  7. Again here like what @OldUser has pointed out and quoted from USCIS instructions they ask for documents from the date of marriage to the date of submission which will make your packet huge. We sent full statements for the full time requested by USCIS. Most folks now make it a personal choice whether they send full (24 months or more bank statements) and they get approved just fine, on the other hand; sending quarterly statements or less has also gotten approved just fine. It's whatever you feel comfortable in sending also whatever gives you peace of mind!
  8. Yes Texas issues a full term license, my wife also received a full term license while she was a conditional resident here in Texas. She is not going to update her license as nothing changed on her license i.e., address or name after her naturalization.
  9. This is correct I used tabs, hole punches, sticky notes acco clips galore when we filed in January 2022. Go to the January 2022 ROC thread and have a look at the packet we submitted. Fe.Ta is correct USCIS used to expressly ask for hole punches and acco clips that's why we used them!
  10. Still kinda early yet. You had a weekend between the 9th and now. Give it a few more days.
  11. What @Crazy Cat said, but make sure the appointment is AFTER you get your certificate!
  12. I used FedEx for my ENTIRE journey and never had any problems with USCIS getting my packages. Just an isolated thing I'm assuming. Ive seen more boo boos using USPS. FedEX or UPS, 6 in one hand half a dozen in the other!
  13. Why would you do that? Lot's of personal things in your packet. You are asking for trouble. Let's hope it works out like it's supposed too!
  14. Yes it's your opinion, it's a personal choice, you should not say it's unnecessary, it's unnecessary for you! Nothing unnecessary about sending a large packet, same as it's not unnecessary to send a smaller one!
  15. Don't forget to go to the SS office to update your records, before you apply for your passport if you are not in a hurry to travel!
  16. Just one would be sufficient. I don't think USCIS would honor two and it might confuse them!
