I’m a few days late, but Hubby got citizenship Friday! I noticed said no one was allowed to go into the court room (husband was changing his name). However after he checked in we were allowed into the room along with other visitors of the applicants, and the ceremony was very fast. We couldn’t sit but then, but could record and take photos. Judge said a few words had made a little joke , they announced the countries there, did the oath, said the pledge, and pretty much that was it. Was very happy to witness this!!

So after the interview march 9th where husband said he was approved they just needed proof he paid his ticket... we never heard back even though we mailed in the proof twice... then on the date the paperwork SAID "DEADLINE OR WE CAN REJECT YOUR APPLICATION"... WHICH was april 12, i noticed we could have submitted it online. This is what i get for listening to hubby who said the agent said to mail it...
so i submitted on that day. the next day we got notice they will schedule.. and today they scheduled for april 30th!!! It does say nobody can go into the room with them though This makes me so sad... but we are excited this journey is pretty much over!!!!

My interview is next Tuesday at 7:30 am and I am starting to get nervous. Any tips would be highly appreciated. My main concern is the civics test, are those open-ended questions? I haven't had a chance to study yet due to a lot of changes in life but I'm planning to study hard on Sunday and Monday. Do they always select questions from the list on the website?
It is not multiple choice. You answer it or you don’t... not multiple choice

Hubby got approved for citizenship! HOWEVER, if anybody has traffic tickets, don't mention them if the fine is under $500... my husband got one last week and mentioned it, now they can't submit his ppwk for the swearing in until they see proof it was paid.... just an FYI
he was asked some basic questions, none of the hard ones.
so glad this is almost over!

Finally after nearly two years waiting for my I-751 to be decided and a Short 10 months N-400 process compared. We finally got notified of a scheduled interview. Hopefully it’s a combo. Info pass yesterday the agent said it would be. The end is finally in sight. This was a long process I was certainly not one of the lucky ones with my timeline.
Congrats!!

I did not bring piles of documents on my interview - they already had everything they needed. I followed the list of the documents they advised to bring on the interview invite NOA. In my case it was just the NOA itself, green card, my passport, marriage certificate, and husband's birth certificate. That's it. The only thing the officer asked to look at was my passport to make sure the entry/exit stamps agree with my foreign travel section of N400. Obviously it's up to you guys if you want to bring additional evidence.
My oath ceremony is scheduled for March 18th. Sadly, no guests are allowed, I did not expect to be all by myself in such a special moment, but oh well, these are the times we live in.
Congrats to everyone getting their interviews scheduled!
thanks! ha ha his NOA only says to bring the following with you to the interview:
This Letter.
ha h ah ah ha ha ha... im still bringing copy of house title, car titles, recent mail, tax documents though unfiled for 2020, photos and birth certificate for our son Theo.
SO EXCITED!

yall, our interview is tomorrow, what do we need to actually bring? I know that i cannot go in with hubby, but i have to have him prepared as he is so "not worried" about anything...
if he fails i'll kill him, lol. i plan on bringing photos of our son, his birth certificate, photos of his family recently visitng, etc.

I checked hubby's USCIS online account after I read your message and his interview has been scheduled, too! I am so happy!! I think the news is still sinking in for him; when I woke him up at 3:00 am to share the good news, he mumbled 'hooray' and went back to sleep. Ha!
His interview is scheduled for March 19, 2021. The notice posted to the online account didn't indicate whether I should attend the interview, too. I assume I should, since he filed the N-400 based on marriage to me, a U.S. citizen. Does anyone know?
Also, since his i-751 is still pending, does anyone know if the March 19 interview will be a combo interview? The case status for the i-751 still says "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview," not "interview is scheduled."
Thanks!Nobody can go to the interviews. Hubby is here on. K-1 and me not our little boy can go

FYI
Has nybody seen this ??? USCIS posted it on the account. I saw ti this morning. I got my notice on Dec 29th luckily ...
"
Between Jan. 5 and Jan. 21, 2021, USCIS issued receipt notices with incorrect information to applicants who submitted Forms N-400, N-565, N-600, N-600K, or N-336 online. The error does not have any impact on the pending application and applicants can disregard that receipt notice. USCIS will mail new, corrected notices in the coming days and post corrected notices to applicants’ USCIS online accounts. "
No but going to check now! We got notice of interview during that time!!!😓

After USCIS posts the biometric reuse notice, what has been the average wait time for the next step?
Applied at TexasSC.
We are in OKC, got bio reuse mid december, last week schedule of interview. It arrives today so I will know the date, and will post it later.

About 4:30 this morning I got a notification from the old app that the interview was scheduled yesterday for my husband. Estimated completion date has been January 2021 pretty much the whole time. We applied May 22 here in Oklahoma City. Not sure the date yet ad we have not checked online nor have we received the letter obviously. We received biometric reuse notice December 17 I think it was (sorry baby has caused sleep deprivation so I can’t remember exactly). Will update when we find out scheduled date

So apparently USCIS issued a bunch of bio re uses yesterday. Anybody see any movement in their bios? Still nothing for me :(
how did you find out about this?

I am with you! I haven't had a single movement on my case since I received the receipt. Like everything right now, I am not sure there is much rhyme or reason to anything thats going on. Just have to be patient and wait some more I guess. 🙂
Same...no movement since the receipt

Finally got our online account unlocked...estimated completion is Jan 2021...we applied May 2020 here in Oklahoma City

Filed on May 6 in Raleigh, NC. Received my biometrics appointment notification on August 7. I don't see the official letter under my documents tab yet but they said it might take a few days so I don't know when the actual appointment is scheduled for. Estimated time of completion is October 2020.
Are you serious? October 2020? Our baby is due oct 2 and this would be so great! We are trying to request his mom to be able to visit to meet her grandson...you just have us hope!
