Hello all! We finally have our ROC interview coming up on Dec. 15th. I am gathering documents and wanted to ask, did others bring along a copy of your whole packet you originally submitted with the I-751 application? Or just new evidence to add to the file? I feel like bringing a copy of the whole packet that they already have is overkill, but better safe than sorry...thanks. Congrats to all who have gotten approved recently.

So I have called USCIS call centre many times. Most recent conversation happened today. I called to ask for stamp like all of us in the same boat of expiring extension letters. I got the same answer of emergency requirements. During my conversation the agent told me that I’m in the queue for N400-interview. I have submitted my N-400 last year in November and completed Bio already. My I-751 is pending since December 2018. Now the agent stated that it will be interview only for N-400, when my Congressman told me that it will be a combo interview as per my last conversation with congressman staff two months ago (They stopped responding after that). My case was transferred to national benefits centre week after I filled for N-400 also. What you think may happen? Combo interview or N-400 only? Is there any way we can request a combo interview?
So they do not consider losing your driving license and/or your job, an emergency?

Congressman and Senators are useless especially in my case you may try it but for me its just waste of time.
Atleast I was able to get a appointment for passport stamp through Tier 2 officer this week. I highly recommend you to contact USCIS Tier 2 officer if you really want to get stamp in passport, this way you wont have to worry about expiration of extension letter.
How did you get Tier 2, did you have to insist with Tier 1?

Does anybody else have their I-751 filed at/transferred to Potomac Service Center? California and many other offices are working on petitions from September 2019... Mine is stuck at Potomac, filed in January 2019
I wish. I don't think this is a high priority for them, especially if they are denying people appointments for passport stamps

You were right! We got approved today. Green card is being made. Thank you for the heads up. All the best to you!
Congrats! Were you interviewed for AOS? My fervent hope is that they start waiving the "must have at least one interview between AOS and ROC" requirement.

Hi Feb 2019 filers, hope everyone is doing well.
Been waiting at "Interview ready to be scheduled stage". Wondering if we should file for citizenship. Ultimate goal is citizenship, but worried that filing for citizenship might delay the Green Card process.
I'm having the same dilemma. They have proposed to raise the application fee quite a bit, so that might push us to apply now.

@prenouveau I remember you guys were transferred to MSC like me. Did you hear anything from them? Any interview notification? I still haven't heard anything... Just case was transferred.....
there was nothing online but I downloaded the Case Tracker app and there it says “ready for interview to be scheduled” as of 10 days ago. I didn’t realize that those who didn’t get interviewed for AOS are now required to interview for ROC. but maybe they will allow waiving of some of these interviews considering the backlog they’ll have? We shall see.

And I lost my job (USC). Hopefully filing for unemployment doesn't effect the non-citizen spouse's ROC app.
Sorry to hear that. I have lost work too.
If it makes you feel better, USCIS has a statement up right now on their page about public charge, stating that they are taking COVID-19 hardships into consideration.

I believe that's the case. Most I-751 petitions transferred to NBC, do get scheduled for an interview. There may be some exceptions, but from what I've seen so far, that is very rare.
I would disagree, if you look through the forums there are people who got “card being produced” after transfer to NBC and also those who got transferred to their local office and then got approved without interview. What makes you say it is rare?

@TheKingmaker @VeVe @prenouveau Did you guys get interview for your AOS? Maybe that is why they transferred us. I called a TIER 2 officer yesterday and he told me "transferred for regular processing, maybe interview we don't know"... which is quite ridiculous because if they don't know why I was transferred how can I know?.... the joke continuous...
I didn't get an interview for AOS. Also adjusted from K1. I'd be surprised if they interviewed us, unless it was random selection, Our case is very straightforward.

We got a letter last week that our case was transferred to NBC "to speed up processing." Anyone else get this? Wonder what speed up means...

Use this site https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/
the old site has some issues finding newly filed petitions.
Thank you! Wow, that even had a digital version of the denial notice for the I-90. It said what I thought - that they won't replace the card because it will expire in a month.

We got our text message receipt notice on Tuesday and check was cashed yesterday. Case number is VT. It says the number is invalid when I input it online, but it looks like it has taken a while for others to get the status showing online?

Its advisable to book an Infopass appointment with the nearest USCIS office, just to make sure everything is ok
I figure we’ll wait to get the I-90 denial letter in the mail. If the reason is what I think it is (they don’t replace cards once you’re in the 90-day window) I don’t see a need to go for infopass.

Our package was delivered on Friday, 2/15. Same morning we got a text for our pending I-90 case saying it was denied. We had been told to request a replacement card due to USCIS error, back in July 2017 (card had the wrong category) but then they just let it sit for a year and a half. I assume the denial was because we are now in the 90-day window to expiration. Not sure if it was a coincidence that it was denied on the day our I-751 was delivered. In any case - that's all the action we've got so far!

Same (package went out yesterday to Dallas via USPS Priority). I think I remember your username from K1! Good luck to you.

Yessss! It does!! Nothing has been sent. My DL is expiring on the first day of March and I don't know what I would do without any letter of extension to renew my DL
btw I did the e-request a few day ago
Check with your local DMV. In our state, you can renew your DL with a passport stamp. Though, can you get a passport stamp with just an NOA?

Sorry if this was discussed already and I missed it, but does anyone think there's an issue with the new tax transcript format? I planned to send the last 2 years of transcripts rather than my full returns. The 2017 transcript only shows the first 4 digits of our last name, rather than both of our full names. It does say married filing jointly and has the last 4 digits of both socials. IRS says this is the new format, and that it's for security. Still good enough for USCIS?

Well I guess I'm technically a Feb. filer now, meant to get it in sooner!
Quick question, did you caption any copies you included in your packet? Like, if I'm including a PDF of a bank statement or a scan of a driver's license, should I put a caption saying "Petitioner's drivers license" or whatever, or is it sufficient that I listed everything in the cover letter?

Hi everyone,
A year and a half ago now, right after my husband received his green card, we got a call from USCIS telling us that they found in an audit that the wrong code was entered for my husband's card. His card says CR6 and it should say CF1 (we hadn't noticed). They told us to file an I-90 for replacement due to USCIS error. We did this, in July 2017. They still have not done anything with our application. We put in a request for an update and got a canned response saying basically "we haven't worked on it yet."
We are now applying for ROC and including a copy of the card with the wrong code. Should I include a copy of the I-90 and attempt to explain all this in the application? I'm a bit worried this is going to cause problems...
Thanks!

Exhibit B - marriage certificate, may be necessary. Some other threads show that people got RFE’s for it. Good to send along incase it was misplaced, or so that the officer looking at your package doesn’t have to go find it
Interesting. Are people sending the original? I can send a copy but I'd hate to part with our only original certificate...

I-751 February 2019 Filers
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion

We had our interview on Tuesday and it was easy! The man who interviewed us was very friendly and told us immediately that since we have a child and sent lots of evidence, he was going to approve us. Didn't ask any questions except to confirm name and address, and get my husband's photo and fingerprints. He took all the additional evidence we brought along, but implied it wasn't needed.
So happy to finally be past this after an almost 2 year wait. Status updated to "card being produced" the following morning.
