I am throwing you a courtesy reply , because of your tenure and I hate that you have become like another poster that talks to himself a lot.
That having been said, I think there is a keyword you are missing, all the Ellis Island crowd was what ? LEGAL
Not sure what legal vs illegal immigrants has to do with Trump's Muslim bans.

CNN
So you argued that CNN is fake news before, and yet you believe CNN when they said this didn't happen?

More fake news. Can't believe people still fall for that.
Which fake news you read that said this didn't happen?

Can someone kindly explain to me what makes this one better/different than Obamacare?
Is this the new plan the republican party and the supporters wanted?
I'm not being confrontational, I'm genuinely asking.
It doesn't have the word Obama attached to it.

Great speech. Pundits are saying it was his best ever. IMO the democrats should have just stayed home. They made fools of themselves.
Of course it was his best ever. Have you heard his other speeches? He sets the bar so low that his best is the one that he reads on teleprompter.

We had an interview for our ROC, but not sure if the questions are going to be same since our situation is different than yours (we filed jointly).

Right?! I'm lagging behind.

I've started to wonder if the real fake news is really the ones that's coming out from the White House.

well, the prez sayz he is working so i guess that's his reach around. work around. for our benefit of course, all for the hardworking tax payers..
Oh, yeah, I can see how hard he is "working" when he's at Mar-a-Lago, all for the sake of hardworking taxpayers. Playing golf and having fun and at the same time cost taxpayers money $10 million in just a month! He's the best-est president!!

"I would rarely leave the White House because there’s so much work to be done,” said Trump. "I would not be a president who took vacations. I would not be a president that takes time off. You don’t have time to take time off."
Using taxpayers money for his vacation and at the same time trying to do a dramatic cut to government spending. That's legit.

You got triggered? I don't blame you. That Trump train without a brake is truly scary.

Maybe you can try to see if there are any LGBT organizations near you that can help you. I'm sorry that you have to hide who you are from the people around you.

Best press conference ever = lies, lies, and more lies. He said and repeated a lot of words, but his words didn't have any substance to it. They're just words coming out from his mouth. He's still delusional about his electoral college win. He keeps bragging about his electoral college win, as if it's the largest in history. He's ranked 46th out of 58 and his spectacular loss of the popular vote, is the highest in history. To quote a friend: If it were a race, he would be in the 80th percentile. If it were a grade, he would have 20% resulting in a spectacular F. If it were a clearance sale of rotten meat, it would cost you 20 cents to the dollar (and still make you sick).

did you have a 2 year card prior? it is asking about the time from first getting residency. so if you have been a resident for 5 including the conditional permanent resident time you can use the 5 year option or the 3 year. the only difference paperwork wise is that you have to prove legitimate relationship again with the 3 year rule and you do not with the 5 year rule.
good luck
No, I don't. This August will be my 5 year anniversary. I'm trying to avoid extra paperwork, and trying to figure out if 5-year rule has a 90 days early application rule like ROC. Thanks!

I checked 3 years and by the time they processed my case, 5 years had passed. Everything went smoothly from there so I don't think it matters. Good luck!
Awesome, thanks!

Hi guys,
I am pretty sure this question has been asked before, but somehow, I couldn't find the answer. I got my 10-year permanent residency on 08/13/2012 and I'm planning to apply for a citizenship this year probably in May. My question is: Should I tick the box where it says, "Have a lawful permanent resident of the United States for at least 3 years...." or "Have been a lawful permanent resident of the United States for at least 5 years." I am still married to my spouse, btw. Should I just wait until August to make it 5 years, or do I just tick on 3 year box when I file N-400 in May? Thanks!!

Ya, 90 days prior to GC expiration. I heard they'll mail your petition back to you if you file before your window is open.
