Well, if they scanned the letter you can see it on your dashboard. Even though they do maintenance I can still see a priority mail pre-shipment info sent to usps. I just checked again so I know my card is on the way [/

Good morning. I got like 5 text messages over night with updated info. We were provided with a tracking number.. yay! Expected delivery is Monday. I hope the mailman doesn't leave in someone else's mailbox like they have left other items and they have been lost. I will be waiting for him outside to ensure he doesn't make that mistake again with this one. So exciting... my husband is thrilled ? And so am I!

Congrats...mine was mailed today too. Didn't get a tracking number either...you can check you 'myusps' site to check on the status. The site is unavailable today..so you'd have to wit till tomorrow.

So awesome! I am not 100% sure how the myusps works bc it asks for a tracking number which we don't have

Morning All, we just got a notification that the card (green card) was mailed today.. woop woop ????. How do we get a tracking number to ensure this card doesn't get lost!

I got a message two hours ago that my I-495 was approved. Someone please let me know what does this mean? Does it mean I have to wait for interview now?

Got the green card in the mail last night -- status is still at mail card, no tracking number, usps.com never text/emailed either for the delivery just showed up.

So the story..I saw the package and naturally knew what it was. I got home with all of the mail and put it at the bottom, I then handed some to the wife and said we got nothing just a few bills and an address change form for some reason address to you...she helped open the bills and then I said here's the address change, open it and let's see what they want with that. She starts to open it and then stops and goes feels like there's a card in here and I am like oh really(knowing it's the green card for her) she then grins huge and rips open the envelope and has a huge smile saying oh my god thank you finally over and over.. lol it was fun!

Anyway best of luck to the rest of you still waiting and thank you for any of your assistance, I am sure i'll be back asking more silly questions since uscis decided to have her green card in her maiden name and not the married like we filed and do not even inform us they will use the maiden name...got to love uscis officers who think they have the power of God in them, karma...i hope they remember karma!!

i just got a message my case was updated again. just the i-765 for the ead says "card was mailed to me" the ap still says approved, but my notice of approvel says it is a combo card so I am not worried about that!

I don't have a tracking number on my case status, however. it seems that only gets added once your card gets picked up by usps?

myusps does not have any scheduled deliveries as of yet for me either. now we wait.

i have read a bunch of "card was determined as undeliverable" will the fact that we live in an appartment and have a normal mailbox without our name on it be a problem? does it get dropped in the mailbox, or do you have to sign for it? I am so ready for it, we are now finally enjoying planning for our trip back to my homecountry! i left there 11 months qgo and I am sooo stoked to finally see my parents, siblings and nephews and niece back. not to mention my doggy!!

please please put your name on the mailbox. It will help I am sure. You can call USCIS and request a tracking number if u would like to track it. Congrats!!! ???

I just got texts and emails about my I-485 AOS from a K1 has been updated, and "A new card is being produced". Apparently the action was taken on 10th September but I only received the text/email today.

As an aside, I found out that my card was transferred from the NBC to the Field Office in Boise Idaho on 26th August, despite our legal address being in New Hampshire.

This is welcome news and I'll let you know what updates I get whilst things are produced.

for those that for SSN before getting EAD (my husband did - we needed for marriage license here in my hometown) the SSN says valid only with work permit. I am under the impression we don't have to update. And will have to update after we got Green card.

I was hoping to get lucky and skip the interview, but my status online is case ready to be scheduled an interview....so I think I am going to have one. I do not mind to go to the interview....it is just waiting until January which is so stressful .....

I know. At least yours says something other than "received". So I guess it is a matter of waiting some more. We want to start the process for my step daughter. More waiting but at least not to wait for a permit to work since she is only 6 yrs old ?

Yes! Waiting To hear on AOS. Our local office Is backed up. According to processing time is now working on November cases. Hope it is just standard processing time timeline

Yes, K1 and K2. A couple of things got me worried. First is, we did not not include any proof of "on-going" relationship at all. All I submitted was our wedding pictures. Second, we did not submit the form i-693 - just our vaccine records. So I feel like our application was really "touched by an angel"

But you know what they say: If there's no change of status within the first couple of months after submitting your application, then it's most likely approved.

Your timeline looks Good and seems like a smooth one beside the lil wait like everyone else has. I didn't submit any evidence for our ongoing relationship. I figure we can submit evidence during interview if needed. Still no update on AOS. I was told by an USCIS rep that my local office is currently working on cases from November still. That we could be waiting for another 7-8 months to hear anything about AOS

Which is sooooo true that is why i have been tracking every move of it.... best thing it's already in my state from early this morning so now my eyes are fixed to my usps account praying you receive your ead sometime today or tomorrow

I understand because my ead card was shipped out on 9/2/16 but i never received it...i saw that it went to another state that was when i called uscis and the level 2 agent told me that it is stuck at a post office,,,,,, he also said to forget it because my green card was mailed so i understand exactly what you're saying

My package was mailed yesterday morning 9/8/16 but it wasn't until the afternoon my status updated with a tracking number......which was a bit pointless because usps had already sent me a email saying my mail was picked up

Maybe the green card since it is a more important document gets mail with tracking number. I don't know. We have not gotten any other update since the 7th. Oh well we shall see and wait!

Per USCIS case status says EAD card was mailed 9/7/16. It is prolly going to take a few days to arrive but I wanted to make sure it didn't get lost bc our mail sometimes is brought over to us by the neighbors bc the mailman just puts it in theirs instead of ours.

Like i said when it is picked up your status may changed..... or just google my usps and make an account it's simple and easy

I do have a USPS account but how did u get the tracking number.? I read online one can call USCIS and request the number. Is that a level 2 rep that we need to speak to in order to get this number?
