We just got APPROVED! Yay!!!

Good Morning VJ members - December filers waiting for NOA2. Hope we hear soon! I know it is a 5 month processing time but hope we get as lucky as other have responses before the 5 months! Blessings all!!!

Yeah I get a text that my case was updated and when I went to check I got a RFE. I sent a lot of info flights pictures not phone calls cause I use calling cards so I don't really dial direct to him.

Maybe u forgot to sign or date something

Quick question to clear up a little confusion.

According to my NOA1 paper, it says it's the 29th BUT when I check my status on the app or on the official site, it says received on the 23rd.

Now. Have I been waiting 31 days or 37??

On the NOA1 there is a notice date... That's your date.. The app tells u when they received the petition. In your case it was the 23rd and the 29th is your notice date. To my understanding you start the count based on the notice date. Hope we all hear soon!

We weren't missing anything I just thought as we met online originally we would maybe get an RFE reguarding the site we met on(okcupid) as other people got RFEs to request more evidence to ensure it was a free site not a marriage broker.

Thank you so much , yea its crazy the process I would assume some agents are more meticulous then others when verifying the petitions and I would believe it could be a stroke of luck sometimes in getting one individual that is more lenient on information but I'm sure since the SB incident they are all checked more closely, Just hang in there I was 41 days , you'll get it done I'm sure.....

Just got the text we've been waiting for.....We are approved !!!!!! Finally !!! Seems NOA2's come in the evening as someone here stated earlier in the week, text arrived at 8:15 PST....Here we go on to the next step.....Patience, patience and good luck to all of you its coming soon.....

Congrats! 38 days today from NOA1 and patiently waiting!!! Most likely receiving a RFE. Misinterpreted some info and didn't send enough evidence of going relationship. Hopefully they see my passport stands and see I have been traveling to see my fiancé in the past years! Fingers crossed and get an approval instead of RFE but I am ready for them.. Bring it on CSC ?!!!!

I am getting anxious for NOA2. I see some December 21st NOA1s have gotten approved. Mine is 12/24.

Yes many earlier December filers have not gotten approved yet. But then again like someone else said we (VJ members) are only a fraction of all filers so we only see what members post here. Also, the CSC has a processing time of 5 months so we are lucky if we get response within a short amount of time. We are anxious I know trust me, I am super because I am traveling to see my fiancé in a few weeks and I was wishful thinking that I would have approved case by now. But hey everything happens for a reason. Approval dust sent to everyone. ?????

I had the app set up to update every couple hours. It just updated saying case status changed

Yehey!!! I just checked the status of our case and its changed to "APPROVED" ???

What's the next step? Do I need to tell to my fiance (petitioner) to wait for the hard copy that USCIS will send to him as its written there the next step? I have read from this website that we need to call NVC? But why we need to call NVC? Are we going to get another/different case number? what else are the requirements that we need to prepare?

I'm just patiently waiting, (probably won't hear anything until mid- February) but congrats to everybody else who has gotten their noa2's. & to everybody who is stressing out, just relax and take the earlier advice given. Posting your anxiety is contagious lol just go start working towards the next process or something? I have my fingers crossed that everybody gets them soon. Hurry Up & Wait is a terrible thing, but that's just part of it

There is no actual household count on the I-134, and it won't matter when you submitted any previous affidavits of support, or whether or not the affidavit is still being enforced. You will list them on #9 of the I-134. If you cannot recall the exact dates, then use month and year or just year. You will also list your father on #10 along with your fiance(e).

Hi! Your NOA1 is indicated in your letter notice. If you see your WAC # right next to it is "RECEIVED DATE" that's what your looking for. My fiance also put it to Armania during the initial setup but i fixed it. Under the service center transfer section there's country option. U just missed it. I checked DR and it's there. Hope this would help!?

Actually the link next to the entry space it say help finding the date and it says the NOTICE DATE is what should be entered there.

Thank You for your responses. I petitioned for my father in 2010 (I-864) and I am aware I must report his info accordingly. And in another occasion 2007 I was the joint sponsoring person (i-864A) to my aunt's husband bc her income was low. Do I need to included my aunt's husband in I-134. I dont know exact dates and I have no contact with him anymore after they separated. Thanks in advance.

I'm Crossing my fingers and toes that she (BabyMother) doesn't change her mind at the end.. I've been buying my soon to be step son clothes, shoes, Spiderman Bedding (his favorite Super hero) and Easy to Learn English Books.. I want him to feel as comfortable has possible in his new home.. Its going to be a Learning Experience for all of us.. I do Love my Fiancée and I'm Praying for the best.. Can't Wait to see them both Next Month..

Aaaawww thats so sweet. I have a daughter just a few months younger than my soon to be other daughter (sorry I don't like the technical term -Step-). So they have a lot of things and common and they can't wait to me with each other and neither can't I. I am saying them next month too. I am so excited but this anxiety waiting on NOA2 or RFE is driving crazy. But don't worry everything will be alright. It is all about love and patience! Best of luck!

How old is your fiancée's Daughter?? I am petitioning for my fiancée and his 6 year old son.. I am also considered that his mother will give us a hard time once everything is approved..

She is 5. I am hoping she doesn't try to be difficult.
