Oh ok. I didn't know we had to sign up with USPS. I guess we will wait. Wish we knew to sign up with USPS to ensure it was delivered successfully to the house

It comes in a priority mail envelope and actually I got the notification from USCIS when the envelope was already been delivered, and in my case status there was the tracking number of USPS

Ok. Out case status doesnt say anything about a tracking Number. It Only says it has been mailed to the address on file

For those that received their EAD cards, do it come in regular mail just like the notices? How are people tracking where their card is at?

Curious- How do I track the mail? Or do u get a tracking bc u have a PO box or does the card gets mail in priority mail?

Hi guys another update on my case my EAD was mailed on the 9/2/16 and on the 9/6/16 my status was saying my card was delivered to me however the tracking number i got tracked it to a different post office then on the night of 9/6/16 it changed to card was mailed so this morning 9/8/16 i called asked to speak to a level 2 person....they called me back around 15mins after the gentleman was so professional and patient so he told me that the system showed my card is at the post office in a different city however he then said i don't even need that anymore because my green card was mailed this morning 9/8/16 i am happy but trying to stay calm until it's in my hand ( once bitten twice shy ) now my question is how long will it take for me to get it

For now I will have to keep waiting patiently, the AP still just says received, we haven't gotten any texts or mails that it has been approved. But it is less nervewracking because the EAD got approved already. maybe today, who knows!

I am Under The impression that EAD and AP is a combo card. Per the approval letter it says it as such. So the system might be back up with updates. But overall very happy we are seeing things moving. Now we await for AOS to be updated with anything! At this point an EAD approval and card at hand will do us so much good bc my husband really really really wants to work. We have a K2 yet to do and file and go thru the same journey all over again. Excitement has not stopped for us ?

did you also file an SR? And did you file it for EAD or AP? Or both? Have you received your combo card in the mail yet?

Ahh it is crazy, as soon as one question/insecurity gets resolved, 10 others pop up! USCIS turns us all into mad people

Our initial package contains both EAD and AP. I filed an SR for the EAD on 8/31 since that's what my husband has been anxiously waiting for. And I got an email 9/1 with update for my AP has been approved the same day I did the SR and that a combo card was going to be mailed.but all the updates and texts came thru yesterday. Well I see it this way, summer is over so many people are back at work lol

did your AP update the same night? I have gotten my texts for the EAD about 30 minutes ago, but nothing about the AP yet!

We got text for AP at 4:30 PM and for EAD at 6:30 PM Emails after 9 PM for EAD and for AP at 4:30 am not consistent. The website updated when The texts come thru. Nothing in The AOS yet. Not even RFIE Or RFE... Unsure if all documents submitted were complete and good to me forward to local office for interview

So many good news today! I can't keep up with individual congratulations so here is a group BIG CONGRATS to everyone approval and received of cards. ????? for this still waiting, hand in there soon it will come thru for you guys too!

AP and EAD approved!!! Yippieyayay!!!! I am soooooooo relieved and happy :) :)

I got the text message about both cases today in the afternoon, went to the mailbox as soon as I got home and found both NOA letters!!!!

They look very official but it says the document will be mailed separately. However, I am FREE to travel

Kim, for your information, I requested expedite on the AP Monday the 29th of August.

They were processed the same day. Pretty much like your 3 messages online.

I received the letter about it being under review Friday the 2nd of September.

On the NOA letters I received today, it stated my cases were approved the 1st of September, but nothing about that ever showed online until today!

Just received approval notices in the mail! Yay! Both EAD/AP approved and as the mailman put the letters in the mailbox, the cases were updated online. We are getting closer!

Just received a text that my AP has changed. I check online and it changed to approved. EAD and AOS still showed received

Never mind what they said. They told me the same thing - that my case was within the regular processing time and they're currently working on Oktober 2015.

Whatever! If you really want to know what's up ask for a tier 2. I'm pretty sure you'll get the approval sooner than that!

Thanks I will do that if we don't get the approval letter in the mail soon. I am happy to hear the good news from everyone getting notices in the mail and some news over the phone, text, email etc!

She spoke with a lady when we first called who said about the EAD that it was june 01 recieved and that is all she had. The wife then asked to speak with a level 2 officer and the lady said they'll say the same but you are demanding to so i will transfer you..there was not demanding it was more asking lol. She got transferred and we had to do a call back took like 30-45 minutes, he then said the EAD is within processing and we have two days left to ask about the SR for the EAD, so i whispered ask about the AOS, so she did that and he put her on hold came back and asked her some verification questions which he then said it's approved, she said nothing, guy said hello are you there and she said wow thank god and he said yes approved as of sept 02..eeeeee!!

It still gives the same update it does on the website, you need to "demand" ask to speak to a level 2 agent and they apparently can see more!

We called To ask why the cases aren't updating online or the phone, the lady said it is bc it updates once the approval letter is sent out which I do not think that's accurate info bc many have received approval letters and nothing has updated. Not sure what's going on in their system. We asked for AOS and she said we are still within processing time she looked up processing time for my local office and she said they are working on cases filed in November for my local office which is exactly what I see online so it could take another 9 months until we hear from them in regards to the AOS ?

Called to USCIS today and they didn't know much about the EAD...said we needed to wait 2 more days lol

I asked the wife to ask about the i485 and it was approved on 02SEP16!! Finally some good news for her! :)

Online status was not updated though lol still fingerprint received.

Hey all.. just a quick info for those (including me) who were wondering about approval, SR's and why we haven't heard anything...

So I just received 2 letters stating that EAD & AP was approved and will be send separately.

Nothing has changed online. I'm still on fingerprint fee received and all. So I guess the site is indeed not really working!

Cases are not being updated on the website. I found out that my AP/EAD was approved bc I did a service request at day 75 of the receipt date and they email me back with the case status indicating that I had been approved on 8/31 and that combo card was being mailed out at address on file. Nothing has been updated on the website as of today.

i looked at the timelines on here and you (and you only knew because of your SR) are the only one on VJ who has updated their timeline saying they were approved on the EAD or the AP, since the 27th. the cases around mine have not been updated with approved, the only recent updates were the "picked up by usps" or "card was delivered to me" kinds of updates. so i feel like once the system gets fixed, a lot of people will be getting their approval at once. it seems like it's just the case tracker that is broken. hopefully we all hear more soon!

Yes ineed! If it was not for the SR response via email we would have been stressing still. So that said, prolly many here will be surprised when they get their cards in the mail and the website is not updated. So take our case for example. Nothing has changed and I got the email confirming that the travel document was approved and both AP/EAD combo card will be mailed. We are super excited and I hope everyone else gets some good news soon! But to shade some light I am an IT Auditor and with my experience I have seemed many systems that are just broken in the back en even if the agency tries and tries to make it work perfectly. Technology it's not always in their side! Happy Friday and hope everyone gets some good news soon. Worse come to worse so an SR online and put as your last action taken the biometrics appointment indicating the date it was taken. Good luck.

Well, I don't think I'll get an email anymore. I did the SR on monday and it was completed the same day...whatever that's supposed to mean. So now I'm waiting for a letter by mail...or something.

My initial email appears it was automatic saying that to expect a respond by 9/22 and if we didn't hear from them to call. But the next day I got an update email stating that the travel document was approved (mind you I didn't inquire about it, just the EAD) and that the AP and the EAD combo card was going to be mailed at the address on file. The website has not been updated indicating that the case was approved. I wonder if the maintenance done the night before crashed and never updated correctly and people are approved but nothing shows. I am sure if I didn't do a SR it would had been approved and nothing showing.

But let's not lose hope. My husband need card at hand to be able to work so until then I am holding my breath

Hey guys, anybody know how long it takes to get mail after putting in a SR? I never received an email or text message, so I kinda assume I will get a letter by mail.

My case has been looked at and completed, that's it...

I got an en email right after i sent it. And a response The next morning that My AP was approved snd that The AP/EAD combo card was going To be mailed. I did it at The 75th day from receipt. in The last action taken I indicated the date of biometrics

My friend (from Jersey) did it ONLINE, so much faster and risk-free. And she got news the next week after that!!!!

ONLINe yesterday. Got a confirmation email. And I don't know if it was a strike of luck but I got response the next day that the same day I put the request the AP was approved and a combo card AP/EAD will be mailed. But nothing online for my cases has been update. The USCIS did do some maintenance work on the site yesterday hopefully this will help speed things up for everyone

After doing a SR yesterday. I got an email saying expect a respond by 9/22. Just got an email saying that the request was assigned. And the update to my case in the same email says that my AP was approved 8/31/16 and that my combo card with employment authorization will be mailed within the 30 days. Does this mean the employment authorization was also approved? Nothing has changed online. Help!
