I would think the best thing to do is reroute your flight thru Japan and avoid S. Korea all together.

When you sue them, let me know how that turns out.

Hello all,
So I have completed the DS-160 for K-1 and submitted. I have also paid the fee and kept the receipt. What is NEXT? Do I schedule the interview or do I wait for them to send me a letter about my interview? If I have to schedule myself where do I go? Thank you in advance for the help.

So I emailed NVC and they said they forwarded my visa petition to the US Embassy or Consulate on Aug. 20 2019. Isn't the NVC supposed to send me a letter with a MNL number?? Just wondering.

We had an appointment for BIO for my wife. My daughter didn't get her letter yet so the officer put the stamp in her Philippines Passport. This was about a month ago. My daughter has her BIO appoint. for Monday, 6/3. I filed back in Feb. 21019 so things are moving along.

You don't need too. I asked the officer at our local office if she could give us a stamp and she said we didn't need it but gave it to us anyway because I asked her if she would be so kind. She did and the stamp is good for 1 year.

Hello,
Don't let is discourage you. Even though the officer was confused by the extension letter they are still here back in the US. If you are worried ask USCIS to put a stamp in your passport.

It sound good, just make sure the CENOMAR is accurate and complete before sending in with her passport. Hang in there the process is just beginning.

No Problem. We are working on ROC at this point.

You can get your I-94 online. Go to i94.cbp.dhs.gov and click get most recent i-94.
-
That would be cool. I still can't see my status online.

I talked to USCIS and the officer did say my children have a different case number but to bring them to the biometrics appointment when there mother goes. He also said that the I-751A in reality is not a "real" form. No where will you find anything stating a I-751A form.
-
You won't receive a letter for the children. They are covered by your husband's extension letter. If you filed the children with your husband's I-751 they need to go to the Biometrics appointment with your husband.

We got our extension letter dated 2/15 and got our biometric about 3 weeks later.

I also filed in Feb. 2019. Got my notice letter back saying I have a 18 month extension.

Sorry, I see your are coming from NC. DC is the correct consulate. You don't need a hotel to stay if you do it in a day. They will send your passport to you in the mail. Bring a self addressed and stamp envelope with you.
-
What state are you coming from?? Just want to make sure you are going to the right Consulate?
-
Yes, follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

As in our case our interview was waivered. So no interview. No EAD or Travel card, just sent us the Green Card very fast.

How well are your K2s adapting to the US? Are they treated in school?

When my daughter arrived here in the states, she had no problem. I would suggest to see if your local schools have a ESL classes. (English Second Language) It was required for her to enroll in these classes. It helped her alot.
