My husband had his medical in March of this year he paid N40,000. Well that same medical as you see is N120,000 to N150,000 that's the Naira .
And the suggestion of looking for cheaper doesn't exist. In Nigeria you have 2 choices and they both are about the same.

Yup. And now I have scheduled my interview for January 12. Will try to reschedule later to get an appointment earlier in January. There were available dates before that, but my fiancée and I agreed that I should have my interview after she visits for christmas. She'll be able to bring all her documents I need for my interview in her luggage, and we'll have more proof to show at the interview (airplane ticket and pictures of my fiancée and I with my family). Things are moving forward. Sweet!

Yayy NVC finally recieved the application today. Hoping to get the case number soon anyone know the average time it takes to get the case number after NVC receives the case.

When you register online at SLEC(Philippones) for medical,there is also a question regarding relatives in US.It says in there if none, put petitioner's name whom in K1 visa is the fiance.
Anyways,just checked CEAC and case is in TRANSIT,Yay! 4 days from when NVC received it.

quality over quantity , a strong case is usually 100 pages or more, ull be shocked how fast you can get up to 100 pages without the feeling of adding useless stuff in the petition , my case was between 100 - 140 pages including the forms, etc . I never knew itd even get up to that point but by the time you put everything together ull be fine , mind you i front-loaded so maybe if i didn't front-load it would of been 90-105 pages probably, high fraud country or not , i would make sure the petition is strong, you dont want to start questioning yourself when you send it off . Once i sent mine off i knew it was sound and didnt regret anything

hm i think it should of been obvious that if your " how we met" is facebook you would make sure it was not on private , and since that mutual friend is based on what you a factor why yall met in the first place, the mutual friend not having a facebook anymore all of a sudden could look odd to a CO. Also the trip was a bit too short , if you had a second trip that would of def antly helped you , although some ppl do get approved with just one trip , one trip with just 3-7 days is nothing, if the trip was a week and some days or 2 - 3 weeks , you would of been better off

There are several red flags:
-met on FB through xxx, but now xxx no longer exists (on FB that is)---so that can't be verified
-short relationship (just over a year)
-only 1 trip and only 7 days spent together
-older woman, younger man (although very small gap, culturally unusual)

Exactly. So there were other reason(s) why you were denied. It wasn't due to not having enough FB friends. That's ridiculous.
Stop with the bad attitude towards people who ARE trying to help you. People are trying to tell you that you need more trips and time with him in order to make it look legit.

Called NVC yesterday still nothing! But at least this time I was told to call back Friday or Monday VS the 6 week talk. So fingers crossed!!!
To those of you still waiting for a NOLA2 and are upset about us talking about the NVC statuses. I am very sorry your cases are taking so long and I wish you were with us in the NVC stage. But we are still going to talk of how we feel the stage is taking long as the benefit of this forum is to SUPPORT each other and we do so by keeping each other updated with our cases in any of the stage. The forum is for any August 2016 I-129f filer and does not stop once the NOLA2 is received.
But once again I am truly sorry you have not heard anything about your NOLA2 yet and I hope you do very soon. Please keep us updated as you progress and we are all still here to listen to you vent about the NOLA2 taking so long which we all agree is taking a lot longer.
Any stage in this process can be stressful to one person and not to another. But this is a forum that is almost list a support group and we are hear for each other no matter the stage they are in!
