Hello everyone,

I will have my medical exams probably in 4-5 weeks from now, if I could delay it that much. So I tried Marijuana like 2 times for the first time 1 week ago without thinking that i would be asked at the med exams about it . I didn't do it again since then.I've read online that it goes out of your system from 2-4 weeks. I don't wanna say Yes to the doctor, Im thinking that I could do a urine test at my doctor and see if I have it still in my system before I go to the med exam, and if I don't have it in my system Im thinking about answering no. Is that a bad idea???

If the doctor ask you about the drugs, you have to say yes.

If you say yes and they find it, you get a 1 year ban.

If you say no and they find it, the ban is much worse.

No one can instruct you either way.

All we can tell you is to tell the truth you face a ban either way.

how do you know they make u take a pee test??? does greece do urine tests?? i would just postpone the medical..

I think most countries do urine tests nowadays because of the gonorrhea test. Maybe they check other things in the urine too.

I don't know how many more members here have to tell you to be honest. At any time. Migrating to the United States is not a privilege, don't take it for granted or not seriously and trying drugs a few weeks before your medical wasn't a bright idea of you but it happened and you really have to be honest, even if they find nothing.

Lying isn't a good idea, especially during the immigration process. At this point you get that if you are caught lying, it could have many negative consequences. Bite the bullet and be honest at the medical. Admit that you made a stupid mistake and accept any consequences- they'll not be nearly as bad as if you had lied! Maybe the doctor will not care, or maybe they'll appreciate your honesty and let you go on your way. You won't know until the time comes, but I think honesty is only way to go about this. Good luck!

Just assume that they already know everything about you and everything that you have done in your life. It will make the visa process easier to manage. Just like everyone else has stated, don't lie, answer every question honestly and simply. It's easy.
