I'm on day 105 . I-129F was received February 25th, haven't heard a word since. The waiting isn't hard, it's these damn travel bans. SIGH. Keeping the faith.

I'm interested in finding out more on this too. I can't take 14 days off from work and figured I'd go for a week, "self isolate" with my SO and go back to the US. If you find out anything let me know :)

I'm surprised I managed to get dressed and into work this morning after reading this. We just sent off our application for a K1 in February, so it's still early in the process for us. I'm fearful of any impact this will have as I don't see my relationship making it if this delays the visa significantly. I hope the best for everyone else.

Thanks for explaining the disadvantages to the K1. That's interesting for sure! We are fortunate to be in a position where we kind of expected those wait times so we're prepared for it. My SO is ready to be a stay at home husband, bless him lol.

Yesterday I received NOA1 , I was expecting it to take a few more weeks but I'm NOT complaining
EDIT: Maybe it's not NOA1 but rather just a receipt. False alarm, but still happy.

I finally got a text message with our receipt number and the check was cashed. I feel MUCH better knowing someone received it.

It's very rare that it gets lost or misplaced. A couple of things to look for, and you have used some of the techniques already, but one was the package signed for? Two, has your check been cashed or charge card been charged? Has it been more then two weeks from USCIS receiving your package. Those are the signs. But still no one can say with a certainty if and when you will be notified. We see 1-4 weeks on average. You're very early on in the process and you are already anxious even as a veteran of a previous visa process. Mmmmm. Give it a some more time.
BTW can we get you to finish your profile so we know what embassy you will be interview at. When finished you should see a flag in your profile on the left column. You'll notice others have done the same.
Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you. Thanks

I mailed out our I-129F on February 22nd to the Dallas PO Box. It was delivered February 25th. Does anyone know how long it takes before they notify me of anything?
I went through this process once before in 2016 with my now ex. But I sent the application to Lewisville TX. Less than a week USCIS sent me a text with my receipt #. Does Dallas take longer? So far my check for the application fee hasn't been cashed. I'm getting anxious that maybe it got lost or misplaced! 😬

Honestly haven't given a spousal visa any thought. With my ex we started the K1 process and figured I'd go that route this time, too.
Our visits won't be too frequent as I have limited paid time off with my employer.

Hi Group!
Honestly don't think I ever posted before. But a quick intro... I was in a LDR for 3 years , USA to UK. It all fell apart in 2016 and looking back I am glad it did! That door closed so another could open. Fast forward to September 2019 and I've been single for 3 years, dating and frustrated with the entire process. I decide I'm going to just have fun, and this leads me to talking to someone visiting Florida from the UK (what are the odds). What was suppose to be ONE night turned into a few days spent together in Orlando. Fast forward to now, February 2020 we just wrapped up a week long visit and I am more certain than ever about our future. I am finally buckling down and focusing on getting the K1 application sent out. I never wanted to do LD again, deff not international, but here we are! You never know what life has in store for you.

I'm imagining it's a very LONG and stressful process, we haven't even sent off anything yet and I'm already anxious over it lol

I'm a 27 year old from Florida my boyfriend of 2 years is from England. We are planning to start the process for a K1 visa before the end of 2015, so I imagine I will be around a lot as I have a lot of questions! Also would be nice to get to know those who are going through or have finished the process and can relate to the struggles of an international long distance relationship.
So lockdowns were not needed after all?

The WHO is a joke and so is the CDC in my opinion. The virus was treated like the plague but looking at the numbers it was nothing like we had been lead to believe. Too much fear mongering, too much false information. I'd rather take my chances and die happy than live cowering at home in fear.
If anyone disagrees that's fine, spare me your fear.
