Unfortunately I didn't do my research properly and didn't know I could apply for my wife's social immediately upon arrival. Now we are basically waiting for the EAD, AP, etc... and it sounds like it's going to be a long time before she gets it. If I'm reading the timelines properly, it takes about 5 freaking months. Arggghhh!

$1225 total if I remember correctly. It was the full package and covers everything. 

Finally! We received our NOAs for the EAD, AP & AOS on Wednesday and Biometrics appt scheduled for 2 weeks from now. Fingers crossed the AP doesn't take as long as the timeline estimates. Would be great if she's got it before end of July.  Anyway, just excited to share.

So I see they finally deposited the check yesterday, any idea how long after that we might get a notification? 

We mailed ours in March, but apparently had not used the most up-to-date I-485 form, so had to refile, they just received it today... Hope there's no additional RFE's or any of that junk. Doh!
