yeah hopefully we get it soon . People who got their NOA dated couple of days before us have got their bio metric letter .

Even with a B2 tourist visa there is no guarantee you would be allowed into the US it completely depends on the immigration official at the POE. I completely understand your position as we are all going through the same process . This is the way the process works , it takes 10 to 12 months and in some cases longer for the visa to get approved . keep yourself occupied with other things .. prayers are with you to be with your husband soon.
All i wanted to say is having a B2 also doesn't guarantee that you will be able to visit . So don't feel bad or worry about it

yeah ... not sure how this will expedite your case ... there are lot of families where the USC is the only working person and spouse living abroad is not working or studying and is financially supported by the USC. Of course every couple who is separated goes through lot of emotional stress due to separation and not being able to live with each other. If this was a reason for expedite then most of the couples would be opting for this route. There are couples who have not seen each other for more than a year.
You can try but not sure if this could be a reason for expedite..

There is no need to submit financial documents now ... its required at the NVC stage
This is really confusing ... I have read in this forum that who ever had a status change that its in the local office actually received the approval letter from potomac... this is actually a different update they are giving now ...its all so confusing

Did they say what Pd date they are currently working on ... can you please check with them if possible on that so that it would give us some idea about when to expect an approval notice ...i

Patience is the key in this whole process .... I am not sure if B2 is issued when you are going through a immigration process ... you can try and see if you get your tourist visa ... It doesnt just end with getting the visa ... when you travel to the US at the POE you need to be honest and tell them you are here visiting your spouse and you need to carry documents to prove that you have strong ties to your native country. ....
