Congratulations and to all that have finally received approval. My dad filed I-130 and I-485 in September 2021 and his case is still pending. Meanwhile, my mother filed in October 2021 and her green card was delivered in May 2023.

    Anyone else experiencing extreme delays?

    Hello,

Complete packet received by USCIS on September 4.

EAD issued on March 14. My dear parents were losing their mind waiting to work. My husband and I kept their positivity going. It's difficult.

This is the second RFE in my mom's case. Thankfully, her doctor will supply another medical examination, but I can understand my mother's frustration. I'm trying to stay positive while helping her stay positive.

Once again USCIS lost documentation from my mother's I-485 packet.
First, they lost my I-864 and I-864a along with my tax transcripts and husband's tax transcripts.

Now they have lost her I-693. The level of incompetence from USCIS is unbelievable.

Has anyone else experienced this level of incompetence?

I too hope mine is wrong. It says 10 months. I just finished my Master's and would like to move on the federal jobs. I hope it's much sooner than 10 months.

I had my oath ceremony at Plano event center yesterday. Around 500 ppl took oath from 70 countries. Officially Us citizen now. Next step apply for passport.

i had 7.30 appointment for oath reached around 6.45 line was so long already and it was so cold they didn’t open the door till about 8  I think. Don’t come too early. Also there are more than 1 line of people standing so if you have family make them walk around I found shorter line later. No food or drinks or weapons allowed. Family and friends stand on left side and applicants on right when you enter. Once you pass the security there are 3 lines to enter the auditorium.Keep your oath appointment letter and green card in hand. Once she checks it she will write the table number for the officer on the letter. I had table 5  you hand over your green card to him and he will give you the oath package.once ceremony over you have to go back to same table and he will give you the naturalization certificate.Oath takers sit in the front and family in the back. Can’t sit together with family. I think by 9.30 ceremony was over. I filled the voter registration form and gave it back to them at the venue. Hope this helps if anyone interested to know.

Better than nothing or having to wait 10 to 15 months like some of us in here.

    *DALLAS FIELD OFFICE*
FYI: USCIS Dallas working to seriously reduce backlogs. No more oath ceremonies at the field office as the swearing in space will now be converted to office cubicles to accommodate the additional officers being expected. Swearing in ceremonies will now take place at Plano convention center henceforth. Their goal is to have 42 officers against the current 22 or so officers adjudicating cases every day. For people with pending application, be prepared as you may be called in for interviews sooner than the current processing times. Don't wait until the last minute to start putting yourselves together

Glad your husband was able to present that email so that everything would go through.

I'm hoping mine will be a breeze considering the various times I've been vetted by the feds due to my previous legal work.

I'm pending interview and oath. Right now the Dallas office has an 8.5 to 15 month wait. According to my online account, I have anywhere between 10 to 11 months. ☹️ I just hope and pray it's sooner than that.

Congratulations! I should have filed the N400 while my ROC was pending rather than file in December 2019. I'm so happy for you. Enjoy the beautiful moment of your ceremony.

That's the same timeframe for Dallas office. ☹️ Can't get into the job industry I want until I'm an USC.
