We are DONE....My wife had her oath ceremony yesterday. I was a moment we had worked towards for a long time.

From entering the country on a K1 visa in 2016 to becoming a US citizens took about 37 months. I realize that, compared to many others in this situation, this is relatively short, and we are thankful for that.
With all the hassles and uncertainties along the way, it's sometimes easy to forget what a privilege this really is, one that many others will never have the opportunity to pursue. I hope that people don't loose sight of that, despite all the  inconveniences we have to go through to make it there.

I am thankful for the help this community provided us along the way. I wish everyone a speedy and painless journey to citizenship.

If anyone has any particular question, please pm me.

I know it's tough, but don't get too wrapped around the axle with the estimated completion and wait times.

My wife had her interview on October 3rd, at least one month before she was supposed to hear anything.

She is now scheduled for the oath ceremony on November 18th (it took longer because she is processing a name change). That means she will be done with everything and become a US citizen on Nov 18th. However, her "estimated wait time" still says 2 months and "estimated completion time 3 months", a lot sooner than what is posted.

I suggest bringing original for everything that was submitted online and even relevant documents that you did not submit along with your application.

My wife had a combo interview and the officer asked if we had an original of our daughter's birth certificate. I don't know how it got lost online but luckily we brought originals for everything and he was able to make copies so he could approve both the same day.

It's better to bring everything and not use any of it than to be missing maybe one item that could potentially prolong the process unnecessarily.

My wife had her interview yesterday and she passed. She had a pending I-751 that she filed in July of 2018.
We (my wife, myself and our daughter) were called in together to the interview room. The office said that he had to take care of the I-751 before he could process the N-400.
We were both sworn in and he proceeded to ask a few basic questions. He asked for a copy of our daughters birth certificate. We had brought an original and he made a copy for us. He then asked me to wait outside with our daughter.
He went over a few questions on the N-400 application, asked a few personal questions and touched on some of the travel we had done. He asked about the name change that we requested for her.
He then conducted the reading/writing and civics test. She was done in about 15 minutes. The officer was fast and professional. She told me that he made her feel at ease, repeated question when she didn't understand. He was not intimidating and that the whole process was a good experience, all things considered.

    This is what we learned since yesterday;
    - Study the questions to the point that you can answer them easily under pressure. There are no surprises and/or trick questions, it's all in the study guide.
    - We had submitted a letter with her application, requesting the I-751 to be adjudicated with the N-400. I don't know if it made any difference, I didn't ask. However, we never received any notification that her case was transferred or that a new office had jurisdiction over it. So, if you're applying with a pending
I-751, do yourself a favor and definitely bring your spouse/kid, and relevant paperwork; just in case it ends up being a combo interview.
    - The websites are slow to catch up, the old one being more accurate. It shows that the new card is being produced and that we are waiting for the oath ceremony to be scheduled. The new website still shows the I-751 as " case was received". We received 2 emails immediately following the interview, one more today.
Last thing; the new website now shows "estimated wait time 3 months" and "estimated case completion time 2 months". We are requesting a name change which is most likely causing a slight delay.

We did. The I-751 is at the same point it was in August 2018, when she did  her biometrics.
She applied for citizenship in July. Her interview is scheduled for October 3rd.

We received an email today that my wife's N-400 interview is scheduled. No date but we are being told that we will be receiving a letter in the mail.
Nothing in the documents tab either yet. (Raleigh, NC field office)

Her I-751 is still pending since "case was received" status update back in August of 2018. I'm hoping fore a combo interview unless by some miracle her I-751 is approved by the time she interviews. She had filed at VSC.

Yes, I started seeing this today as well. I think it's just a glitch since the latest "system maintenance" that was performed over the weekend.
I also received a lot of notifications from the original applications 3 years ago.
It didn't stop until I removed them from the status update page

    Greetings N-400 July 2019 filers

We filed online yesterday based on 3-year rule
I-751 is still pending in VSC, no movement whatsoever since biometrics in August of 2018.
Our field office that should be taking care of the naturalization process is in Raleigh, NC.

I was unable to add our info to the spreadsheet. I kept getting the "trying to connect" or "working" message, but it did not save anything

    I would consider educating your lawyer;
Below is directly from the USCIS website:
Reside continuously within the United States from the date of application for naturalization until the time of naturalization Be physically present in the United States for at least 18 months out of the 3 years immediately preceding the date of filing the application It's all here:

Hello fellow July 2018 files -

I see some familiar names here from about 2 years ago....Good luck to all.

We sent our I-751 on July 30 by USPS, it was received on August 2nd.
As of yesterday, the check had not been cashed yet. My wife's green card expires September 28.

Like several others have posted, our 120 notice was also sent to our previous address. I still have the confirmation email from the change of address request last year, so I called them. I was told that it is normal for mail to go to the address that was initially on file but not to worry because all mail pertaining to the I-751 will be sent to the  address on that application. Makes no sense to me, but I guess it doesn't have to.

Compared to what others sent in with their package ours was relatively small. Very basic but covered all the items that were mentioned on the USCIS website. We do have a child together, so we're hoping that will help our case.

I just spent 45 minutes going through different forums; reading about pertinent information that might help me in this process. I specifically remember reading an answer to your question...one that you had asked before !!!
Did you NOT read the answer that Ash.1101 provided (AOS May files) If you ask a question, maybe you should at least READ the answer instead of asking the same thing on a different forum.
I personally spent time putting together a word document with information from different threads, both timelines and answers, to help me sort things out. It helps me put it all together.
I invested time in that....you should too.
