Hello guys, my initial documents were recieved on 05/07/2018 at California Service Center... so far no word from them except fingerprints in July 2019, anybody in the same boat? I saw that they reduced processing time for CA center up to 20.5 months...so I am already over that time frame...I don’t know what to do
I was CSV too, although mine was approved 9 months ago ans we applied the same month I really don't understand why some cases have to wait so long !

She is going until she get her interview date
Probably for 5 months
At my interview the officer asked me about my different trips to Europe, sometime for few months. I had good reasons and he was very cool with it. Depending on the circumstances i guess.

Had my Oath ceremony today, finally a citizen ! Already went to the passport agency in SF and got my passport in hand the same day.
Good luck everyone and thank you so much for all the help I got from VJ I don't think I could've done it without you guys.

At my interview I wasn't 100% sure on the dates and the officer just pulled out all my previous trips, he was very cool with it even if I over stayed my number of days allowed outside the us (for very good reasons of course)
-
I had all originals documents with me at the interview and the CO didn't even look at any of them.
-
The CO didn't check my passport at the interview he simply logged in to the CBD website to check all the dates for my previous trips abroad.

Thanks guys ! Will do

Hi,
I had my interview in SF yesterday and was approved I was wondering if I can call USCIS to request a date for my oath ceremony. I'm planning on traveling soon and wondered if it's possible.
Thanks

Unless it says your wife must attend the interview on the letter i don't think you going alone matter that much.\
I had my interview this morning and I went alone and the CO never asked my anything about it.

Just a curious question ?
Do they take away you GC at the interview for naturalization or is it at the oath ceremony ?
Thanks

HI, few years back it took me about a month from the NVC to have my interview. That was back in 2016 so not sure if it's the same now.
-
Will do, I was wondering if everybody get the same message on the app ?

Had my biometrics today, when I got back home my status chaged to "We activly working on your case..." California says 12 months ! I thought it was stranged as they give you the impression it's gonna happen tomorrow...
Now i guess I just have to wait !
Good luck everyone

Hi, is your filled office the closest from where you live ? I'm north of San Francisco and I assumed that SF would be my filled office although I don't see it anywhere.

Hi!
For those of you that have received your card in the mail....were you expected to sign for it? They tried to deliver my husband’s card today but said they didn’t get access to the building, which makes no sense since we have a package concierge service in the lobby. Just wondering if they needed a signature and that why they didn’t leave it.
My card was left in the mailbox didn't have to sign for it, I live in a house though so not sure about a gated building ?

Let me know when the biometrics shows up on your account. Most people had it posted to their account within 3-4 days of applying but my NOA1 took longer so I'm wondering if the biometrics will take longer too. I am not so patiently waiting since we leave on a 3 week trip next week and I was hoping to get it before then to do a walk in
I applied last Thursday, got the NOA letter posted on my account by monday and today they posted my biometrics app for the 31st of this month.
Good luck !

Finally saw an update after almost a year. March 19, 2018 filer here. Bios was on May 21, 2018. As of today, May 14, 2018, it says "Card is being produced". Only i751 petition, no N400, no interview, inter-racial, gay couple, 40-year age gap, EAC181205-xxxx.
Congrats !

First, congratulations!!
Since your case was approved, I would just wait to get the card (mine took 7 days). This way you can send a copy of the valid card with your N-400 application.
Thank you ! And also very good point I didn’t think about that one.

Got my case approved today !
Wac1812750***
case received March 27th 2018
Do people wait till they have the GC in hand before applying for N400 ?
Thanks

The app expires within 30 days so unless you logged in and made an actual change or addition to the application within 30 days, all the work is lost. I'm not sure if this is what you both experienced or if it's just a technical error.
I was very accurate about my timeline and I was allowed to change it till the 22nd of May. Definitely a technical error; i'm wondering if I can call them ?

Marriage in Tourist Visa
in Tourist Visas

Hi, I don't think you can ajust a status within the US, I did the same thing and had to apply from France and waited all the processing time before getting my GC and then apply for citizenship.
If they get married in the US the spouse need to go back to his country and apply for a visa then.
