I wasn't sent an email or text message that my case was approved or that my green card was sent to me. By the way, the new site still shows that my fingerprints were received on December 3, 2018, that's it.

 

I checked my case status online in the old site every day but the old site told me for 14 months that "My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered". I mean I could not track my case till the day they approved my case. December 16, 2019 was the first day when my case started to track. It was said that my case was approved. They shipped my green card on December, 19. On December, 21 I got my green card in the mailbox.

Same here - we were EAC late Nov early DEC 2018 and our case # never worked until approval. 

Same here - new card being produced! We are Vermont late Nov early Dec 2018 filers. 

Case # never worked on the old site, always gave an error and tonight it finally worked. New site still says case received, from what I'm told that never changes. 

Case was approved today. Case # never worked on the old site until today. "New Card is Being Produced" Finally!

Our case number still doesn’t work on the old USCIS site it says the case number isn’t found, on the new myuscis site with the secure login it does work and says that they’ve received our case. Any idea why the old site doesn’t recognize the number or will it work once card is in production?

we filed late Nov and checks cashed in December 

Typically it's within a week of them receiving the case. 

Biometrics completed on the 3rd for us. Now we wait....

Priority Mail with no signature is how we sent ours and for our AOS. 

Congratulations! This process takes way too long. 

Biometrics letter arrived on Christmas Eve.

Since other people have gotten their letters from Vermont I'm pretty bummed. Also gave up the green card to USCIS for a stamp so no hope of renewing drivers license then? Am in Boston.

Boston here as well! We live in the city! I don't think you'll have a problem at the RMV.

I797 NOA received today in the mail, two weeks from when check was cashed basically. Found out we’re at the Vermont a service Center. I haven’t checked the case status online yet as we only now just got the case number with the I797 being mailed. We didn’t submit the G1145, so we’ve been waiting patiently and not calling.

USCIS is self-funding, not impacted by the Republican's shutting down the government. 

We just sent the Tax Return Transcripts from the IRS website for years 2015, 16, and 17. We did not include the actual returns as the Tax Return Transcripts are the official record (From what I read here). 

 Just noticed they cashed our check today for the $680. Now we wait for the letter...

We didn't mail the G1145 - I read on the forums it doesn't work with the I751. Apparently that was wrong info. 

Can we call in or wait for the check to clear to get the #'s to track the case?

Mailed our I751 packet to Dallas TX on Monday. Should arrive today or tomorrow. 

How are you all getting notified via text ? Is that a service we had to sign up for or do they go by what's on the application?

Hello all! 

That time has come where we are to file our I-751. The first day we can mail the packet is October 21st (2 Year Green Card Expires 1/19/2019). We are currently in an apartment lease and moving on 11/2/2018 (in two weeks from now). Should we wait until we move to file the I-751 with our new address? It doesn't make sense to me to file now with the old address or can we file now and use the new address, but that might look suspicious if we file with an address we're not living at yet and submit a lease that hasn't started? 

I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

My husband and I waited almost a year from "Waiting to be scheduled..." to the actual interview. Green card in hand now!
