Gera & Rocio got a reaction from MadeForEachOther_ in I-751 May 2017 Filers
Good morning everyone.
Green cards for both my wife & daughter arrived yesterday. We’ll be applying for my wife’s citizenship before end of year God willing.
All the best to you all.

Hello everyone,
Received an update this AM in regards to card being produced so hopefully that’s the case! (Filed I-751 “5/30/17”).
I’m going to be filling the N-400 for my wife before end of year once we take a few months break from processing USCIS material.
Hope everyone one is doing well and all the best to those patiently waiting for an update. Hang in there, I’m sure more approvals will follow.

Hello everyone,
I hope you all enjoyed the holidays and happy new year to all. Nothing new here just checking in and hoping everyone is doing well. We must continue to be patient for the I-751's to be approved by this spring God willing.
Take care,
Gera

Hello again everyone,
We tried our luck today for a walk-in at our local ASC for biometrics processing and we were successful. My wife + daughter had their appointment for next Monday 6/26 but we are flying out on vacation this Thursday 6/22 and all we had to provide was our flight itinerary for verification to the officer.
You all have a great remainder of the week!

We're going to enjoy some away time in Ixtapa at the end of the month God willing, hopefully the biometrics will be received before our travel and we can get that squared away for wife/daughter before our departure. If not, my sister will be watching our mailbox while we are out of the country for roughly 12 days and should the schedule fall for the biometrics appointment during our absence, she knows how to submit a request for a later date which is no biggie. We're patient since this process will be a while either ways!
During AOS, our local office in my hometown allowed an early walk-in for biometrics since we were going to be on vacation the week that the scheduling hit so I'm also hopeful we can take our chances and try if needed before we depart as well since we have our travel tickets, hotel bookings, etc. to show for.

Interesting, VSC needs to get with the program and step up their game!

@Gera & Rocio You'll be fine since you're a CSC filer, its much more quicker in CSC, VSC filers have not received any biometrics appointment letter yet.

Gera & Rocio reacted to Lemon23 in I-751 May 2017 Filers
@Smithbridge the valid receipt number comes from your biometric letter not from NOA1. Just wait for your biometrics letter.

Yes that's what I'm seeing, just wish I can receive the biometric appointment so that I can plan summer vacations

Hello everyone,
It has been a while since I posted but we are back...
I am sending the I-751 package that I filled out for my wife (K-1) and step daughter whom I treat as my own (K-2) on Saturday, May, 27th God willing. Their 2 year conditional Green Cards expire on 8/25, so I will be sending out the package right when their 90 day eligibility period begins. With the holiday coming up on Monday, the California Service Center should receive the package by Tuesday the 30th.
There is plenty of evidence that we enclosed (Home purchase last June - closing statement/deed of trust, marriage certificate, son's birth certificate, combined bank accounts statements/credit card statements, recent tax transcripts, 401k beneficiary, family healthcare coverage through my employer, auto policy in effect for both self/wife, family vacation itineraries, lot's of pictures, etc.) We were blessed with our roughly 10 month old son last August and she is pregnant once again LOL, but it's a blessing since we will be closing shop on completing our happy family after he/she arrives in early January '18 God willing.
It is amazing how my wife and step daughter that is now 7 years old have adjusted to their new life in the USA. My wife is currently enrolled in ESL classes in adult school and independent when it comes to driving around our city, running errands, going to Dr's appointments, etc. My daughter will be completing 1st grade next week and her English is "fluent" which is amazing, not to mention the awards she has received from her school at such a young age. We are truly blessed as a family and hoping that this ROC process goes smoothly.
Best of luck to everyone on this thread and enjoy your holiday weekend.

Gera & Rocio got a reaction from TBoneTX in Should I go with fiancé to Embassy interview?
I accompanied my fiancé (wife now) to her Consulate interview back in January and handed her my U.S. passport for any given reason and it seemed to score major points with the interviewing officer. He was pretty friendly at the K-1 interview and once he asked my fiancé in regards to the last time we seen each other, she quickly replied, "this very moment" and handed the IO my U.S. passport for review. He quickly smiled and said, thank you for providing his passport but we are all set. Nothing else was asked according to my fiancé there after and it was pretty much a friendly convo of about 5 minutes until the IO told her congratulations, your visa has been approved and best of luck to you!
I recommend the presence of the U.S. Citizen for support in the visa process even if not allowed into the interview.
All the best.

*** Thread moved from K-1 Process forum to the Embassy/Consulate forum -- topic involves that stage. ***
[Mod hat off]
Hand your U.S. passport to the beneficiary to show to the consul. This scores points beyond measure and might result in your being invited in to the interview.

Gera & Rocio got a reaction from KayDeeCee in Cuidad Juarez INTERVIEW SET UP 7/7/15 PLEASE NEED HELP ASAP
Disregard the link within the website to which you registered for scheduling the ASC, Interview, paid visa fees, and DHL. For the K-1 process, it is the DS-160 form that applies and therefore can be reviewed at the following link below by selecting non-immigrant visa and MEXICO - Ciudad Juarez...

Please see picture attached as well for reference. (Input the CEAC Confirmation ID)

Glad to hear all is settled. Bad break on that additional trip but on the bright side... You will now be with your loved one and that is "PRICELESS".
Best of luck to you both on your future together!

Regardless of everyone playing the waiting game. .. EVERYDAY is a happy day when we wake up beside our loved one....instead of waking up to a wakeup call 1000s of miles away ... ♡♡♡♡

Gera & Rocio got a reaction from Eric & Idalia in driving and parking in el paso while in ciudad juarez
I can relate. I parked my vehicle in the parking garage called "Mills Plaza Parking Structure Garage"...
401 N Oregon St,El Paso, TX 79901 (Near the intersection of N Oregon St and E Main St/W Main Dr)
The building structure is about 9 stories. I payed $8 dollars daily and had my car parked there roughly 1 week. The securities that man the parking garage are very courteous and friendly. I got a taxi from the parking garage to the "Puente Cordova/America's Bridge" for about $18.
If I had to do the process it all over, I wouldn't hesitate to park my vehicle there once again!

Gera & Rocio reacted to YouAndMeForever in Help! Fiance "approved" but now called back to 2nd interview!?
They are running a thorough background check because of his eventful past and a 2nd interview because of the several red flags - his father is a Permanent Resident and as you said your fiance is 24. The CO might assumes that your fiance is trying to marry you to have a fast way to the US. Your fiance is 24 and if his dad petitioned him, it would take much much longer.

Don't sweat it, I'm sure it's nothing major!
Keep us posted when you receive the hardcopy.
Thank you,
YouAndMeForever. Congrats on your recent EAD approval.
All the best!
Good morning and a happy Friday to all. Hopefully today, another fellow April filer will receive good news!!!
