Sounds like the data entry is not complete that USCIS has to do in order to officially expire your petition and hence the security check excuse.
If your case was still at the embassy or NVC then it would make sense that you are in AP for security checks but USCIS received your case back
from the embassy in March 2015 and therefore they could care less about security checks because the case will be expired and closed out as
    I previously mentioned.
You should receive your expiration letter soon. If not and you really want to see for yourself that it is expired, the petitioner can contact the senator
to make an inquiry as to where exactly your case is currently and you want the "review" letter which is the expiration letter. It is fruitless
at this point to make yourself more confused by calling the misinformation line because they don't know what they are talking about.

Hi adil! Well yes in India we have an Engagement Ceremony before wedding day.The bride and the Groom exchange rings and it signifies a promise to marry each other or a seal deal u can say.You are right in some countries they do not bother to ask for the Ring Ceremony and pics for evidence but here in India they are all ready to grill you for that.I can understand if both petitioner and the beneficiary are ethnically Indian then yes its obvious that they will follow their customs. My fiancee is a USC and they don't have a Ring Ceremony like us.She came to India to meet my family for 12 days and I didn't want her to do something which she is not accustomed to.She wanted a platinum ring and some designs she liked on some American website.I didn't know that she doesn't like yellow gold.So we decided to purchase the wedding band and the ring once I reach USA.
The ring ceremony usually happens in the case where the marriage is arranged by parents, basically relatives and friends come to the party and witness the ceremony and eat free food and later complain about things(oh! the food was not delicious, the ice cream was melted and blah blah.#######).My elder sister and brother in law did not have a ring ceremony and they had a love marriage. Why should I spend my hard earned money for people just to show off?.
I did not know that the Indian consulates make it a huge issue. Also they are grilling people to let their fiance/fiancee stay at their house with the parents.I don't know what is wrong with these people. It's our life and our decision where we will stay.
Anyways thanks for stopping by adil

Yes Ur right. It bugs me to the core when people are here during all their journey asking for advice and help and once they get approval, they simply forget about this site or may be don't care to help others. It pisses me off big time.Definitely I will be helping out with my reviews and possible advice from my experience.
Katie I think I have enough evidence except RING CEREMONY....but I am ready to fight till the end because we have spent 6 years in this relationship and we love each other truly .I can't be deterred by some prejudice mind.If they do not approve then we will call the senator, the very next day and have them look into this matter and if they treat me bad like other applicants I am gonna bite hard.

You seem to use the term "my right" quite a lot. First thing is its your privilege, not a right.

The obvious answer is go home.
Your post otherwise makes little sense. your daughter could have come with you on a K2 or follow to join with a year.
If you have mega bucks to throw at a lawyer by all means do so.

abhishek1984 reacted to Gary and Alla in Why is "A copy of the entire I-129f package" Needed?
It probably is NOT needed. Go with that. DON'T send it because governement agencies alomost never lose anything, especially when sent to 3 different branches all over the world.
If your fiancee needs some part of it because some part of it got lost by the government then you will be happy becuase you did not spend a few minutes at the copier or the extra postage. And you will be happy because your visa gets delayed for several more weeks while you get the requested information to the consulate. But government agencies rarely lose anything, so don't worry about that. In this process, if the government make a mistake...it is YOUR problem. NEVER ofrget that. They will NOT say "Oh, we lost it, never mind, you don't need it then" NO. They will say "We lost it, we need another copy. We we hold your visa until we get it" There is an entire forum called the "221g" forum about this, but no one posts there because the government never loses anything.
First I would say YOU should hand carry a copy of the whole thing there to the interview rather than send your fiancee into a scary foreign consulate herself to complete a process you are supposedly doing "together". Absent the courtesy of actually being there, NO ONE should ever go to any interview without a copy of every piece of paper ever sent to the USCIS or the consulate. Same applies to the AOS interview later. Going to the interview without it is a fool's errand.
If she doesn't need it, she will take it right back out with her. She will have your visa and you will be smiling.

I am the cynic here, Sandra has a very different back story as you can see from her posts mainly about abused spouses and the help she provides.
If I was to make a guess having seen thousands of weird posts over the years, well hundreds at least, my guess is that she knew exactly what the application was for, did not have a real relationship with the sponsor and it all came out in the interview that this was just for an immigration benefit.
So was the bit about wanting to move for a better job, lifestyle education etc true, YES.
Was it dragged out of her in the interview, also YES.
Did she go in there and merrily state that from the beginning, NO.

I truly believe she is lying to you as she lied to USCIS. She wrote a letter of intent to get married, then do not tell me she did not know.
It doesn't matter if she wanted a better life for her family, people choose other ways to live instead using fraud. What do you expect from someone that tried to scam your Country?
We have hundreds of decisions from the Court of Appeals regarding AOS denied because of sham marriages. You will waste time and money trying to get her here .I know she is not submitting document for AOS,but the l130 will be denied. The punishment is severe.
You didn't ask but here is my advice, find someone's with moral values, because this girl has her moral compass broken. Excusing her fraud attempt is silly to say the least. We have people from poor Countries such as Nigeria Kenya,Philippines,Brazil,Uganda,Colombia etc., that entered here legally.Your girl fraud plan did not work!

She is not legally responsible. Before leaving make sure you report this matter to the USICS in writing so they know what actually happened in case you plan to travel to the USA,in future. This will prevent you fiancee to further abuse someone else because the immigration may not allow her to petition for someone else in future. Moreover you will have a documentary proof that you made them aware about the circumstances.Who knows what story your fiancee tells them in case they ask for it.It is my personal opinion.

You (the petitioner) could be subject to some extra scrutiny having already petitioned for an alien spouse/fiance(e). You may be requested to submit information as to your ex spouse's whereabouts, living situation, etc. This can happen at any time in the process including the embassy interview.
It isn't a huge hurdle, but it can be a pain in the butt. Especially if your relationship with your ex isn't cordial.
It may or may not happen. But being prepared is better than it cropping up at the last minute in the interview.
I am speaking from personal experience.

Hey pglover, this was send to me, maybe it will help you too
    Hi Jackie,
I'm new to the process also, so you might want to post your question over in the K-1 visa process board of the forums: http://www.visajourn...ess-procedures/ Someone more knowledgeable might see it there.
That said, my own experience leaves me to believe that the NOA1 notices are sent out only by the Service Center that ultimately will process your packet, not the lockbox facility that it's initially mailed to. For instance, my packet was sent to the Texas Lockbox, but it was then relayed to the California Service Center, which appears to have sent me the notice only after they entered it into their computer system. It may be that your packet was delayed getting to the Service Center or your Service Center is behind on entering them into the system. It looks like you only have a few days left on that 30 days, so you may have to wait that last few days and then call again. If you do call again, I'd also ask if they can tell you what Service Center your petition was assigned to.
I'd also encourage you to go ahead and create a Timeline at the Immigration Timelines link on the menu above, because VisaJourney uses the timelines to calculate how long things are taking and your experience of such a long wait for a reply may help them identify delays at facilities for other users too. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline
