If I have visitor visa of USA and stay in USA for five and half month and then return to native country; then how many days would I have to stay in native country to return USA?

Please share opinion.

During the inspection, a CBP officer immigration officer at the port-of-entry(POE) after successfully completing your processing, a CBP officer will stamp your passport, signifying that you are permitted for an appropriate duration, e.g., six-month stay (for visitor visa holder) allowed.

Completely incorrect. You don't know what stamp he will get, could very well be for 6 months.

lol! how many times you have entered into the united states on a tourist visa with 6 months stamp?Depending upon the fact that his petition is in process...may be the immigration officer deny an entry at POE...yes its possible to get a 6 months stamp but again it depends upon various circumstances...

Impossible to say, obviously after such a long holiday the more time the better.

The people I know who visit from China have always gotten 6 months. They can even stay for a couple months, go back for a month, come back, and get 6 months again. 6 months is the overwhelming default and it's rare to get anything less.

I assume that most common scenario for visitors is 90 days, have no evidence to support that mind you.
