    Hi everyone,
     
    Just saw on my USPS informed delivery that I have a piece of mail arriving today from USCIS Vermont. The original USCIS account tracker still shows the weird "we cannot display information for your case" and the new one just says they received my filing on March 8th. 
     
    Hoping this is the biometrics! Will update you all as soon I know - will be hovering by the mailbox until it arrives...

    Received my NOA today! Package sent to VSC March 6th. At least this portion seems to be speedy - long wait ahead. Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting!

    This is not accurate. A K-1 is a one-use visa. It expires as soon as you enter the US.

    I moved to the USA to be WITH my husband so living apart on purpose doesn't make sense to me at all. Of course she wants a divorce.

    I don't mean to sound condescending but seriously, if you two have yet to stand face to face on the same level of ground, getting married should just be out of the picture. You haven't even shook his hand and I doubt you even have pictures together. This is just... strange.

    The main thing you need to know is that all embassy requirements for interview are different. For London, you will order a police certificate. The record may say "no live trace". It means there is a hidden record. You would also order a Subject Access Report from the same place to get the details of the conviction, punishment, etc. London wants the details in writing, not from your memory, brought to the interview. If you have proof of the DUI course, that could be helpful. Order police certificates here https://www.acro.police.uk
    You do not need the police report things when your fiancé submits I-129F petition. I can't see any reason this incident would require hiring a lawyer.
