  1. just a share....i just called NVC today regards the status of the case. they finished reviewed the AOS & IV documents yesterday and i will be getting checklist regarding about the AOS form just some changes on it, i asked about the IV docs she said everything is okay except the needed changes on my AOS Form. Take note i never pay the IV Payment yet and i never fill out the DS-260 as i am going to wait the system to be up. Exactly 1 month today i send my AOS & IV documents together. So it took them 30 days to review the documents.....the agent said once i comply the checklist it will take another 30 days for them to review. Well, another patience tested.....

same here i got a checklist on june 24 for missing ds-260

  2. thanks then what u suggest to do keep calling nvc or should we wait.thye even unable to put email in there system so we can get update, they said in week we will send u latter .any idea what kind of latter this will be.

best thing you can do now is to get your documents ready (AOS&IV) , then send them if you received the cover sheet from NVC ( cover sheet hs bar code and your case number on it as well ), once the system is back online , pay the fees and submit the IV application

  3. We have our case and IID number.we r checking our case status online.but it say ur search did not return any data. Our case is i130 ,we also check in no immigrant it's say invalid I'd or case number. Nvc got case on 10 June and I got case number on 24 June .till then no status update or any hard copy in mail. Any idea?????

i hear you , i have been through this , it ll take time for your case to synchronize in the system , Second the system itself is experiencing a lot of issues , so even you ll be able to log in and choose the agent , it is most likely that you ll get stuck at IV unless if its fixed next week

  4. I have the same issue. I also filled in my DS-260 two months ago, end of April, and we got a checklist for it. I called NVC and they put it for supervisor review as it should be reviewed within 45 days max. What date did you submit yours? I did mine April 26th.

    Hey Mall

i though you had your case completed by now , just wooooow , anyway i see you had a check list for DS-260 which is the same happend to my case but i have not submitted yet .

Note : usually the Super review take no longer than a month so hopefully you get your CC real sooon

    good luck

  5. We are at 13 business days (about two weeks and a half) and NVC still can't make the online portal work for us so that we can pay our fees online, fill DS 260 and move on with this process...

This is so frustrating as I have seen people stuck with this for MONTHS. Some are still unable to fill out DS260 online eventhough they paid by mail.

What else to do? If we have not paid anything yet, could we still try for AOS? Not sure if that is an option. A "legal" option I mean.

    Thanks

The best option you have now is to mail AOS & IV Documents as long as you have the cover sheet that has the bar code and case number

You can also pay them via mail which i did and i got a checklist for missing DS-260 but i dont mine at this point since i have already got my other documents reviewed

  6. you can do it either way. It is probably best to pay the AOS fee first, but the AOS fee do not have to be paid first. As long as there is a barcode cover sheet included with the packets. You can use the one you receive with the welcome letter, or the ones that you can print out when you pay the AOS or the IV Fee.

It does not take long for the AOS fee to be invoice and paid so it will not matter if you pay the fee before or after you send documents in

The IV fee is what takes a while that why it is best to send in the packets before the IV fee is paid and the DS-260 form is fill out

The IV fee will not be available until the NVC reviews your DS-261 choice of agent form. It is best to keep calling the NVC and have them do it over the phone instead of just waiting on them to do it

i agree with you , as i sent mine without paying my AOS fee first and i only used the cover sheet which also has the bar code on it . i had no problem with that

  7. it will be extremely hard to get an expedite for a pregnancy, is your pregnancy associated with some life threatening problem ? Do you not have a spouse/so to help you and are completely alone ? Otherwise they won't see a reason to give you the expedite, been there done that sadly . :/

you must went through a lot of difficulties as i have followed up your replies and you went trough most of problems

maaaaaaan you must be so tired of NVC

  8. I did was able to submit it the 19th, I've tried my best with several supervisors to wave the 30 days and they just won't budge . -__-

wow thats not good then , i dont think it ll take them 30 days to review it i have seen people got their reviewed in less than two weeks , hope would be the case for you as i know for sure you got tired of waiting :)

    good luck

  9. Welcome to my world!!! lol I got the same checklist June 18... haven't done anything but wait just because I don't thinking calling NVC would help either. ?

lol i called them because its became one of my routine now , i requested to have a super calling me so i can waive the 30 days review once the i submit the 260

I just received checklist for not paying IV fees!

you should have mailed the fee which what i did

  10. This may not be the only way to work, but I am just sharing a successful experience from my friend who just went through the NVC process in mid May. If this helps others to get through the system technical issues, then why not give it a try?

Yes you can share it no one blames you for doing that i was just pointing out an opinion just like you did , i know for sure we re all here to help and get help. good luck and i apology for any inconvenience caused

  11. I think you may have sent in the documents in the wrong order. My friend did it last month and she did it in the following order:

    1. Once the AOS fee is shown paid, you can send in your AOS package with the financial documents (employment letter, tax transcripts, last year 1040, and signed AOS form)

    2. NVC will take 2-4 weeks to review your AOS package, and when it is done, they will unlock the IV fee for you to pay online.

    3. The IV fee will show Paid, and the DS-260 will open up for you to fill online. And then you can send in your IV Supporting documents.

    4. If the documents have no issues, NVC will forward the whole package to Oversea Embassy for scheduling an interview.

My friend has completed the NVC part and is waiting for Embassy notification for interview now.

You probably want to call NVC to sort it out and see where your case is.

Thats not true at all , i have seen many cases where they sent the AOS & IV docs once they pay the AOS fees and they already got approved in their interviews , what he was experiencing is most likely the NVC is entering his info ( AOS & IV Docs ) into the system , it could also be the technical issues that the website has been experiencing . i know its totally a mess but what can we do ?? ( Just waiting )

  12. I called NVC on 05-21-15 and asked for the case number. They said they have receivemy case on 05-07-15 but it not in the sytem so no case number yet. I call everyday, they haven't assign the case number for me yet. Did anyone had that kind of experience? I look at the timelines currently most people got their case number around 2 weeks. It's there is anything I can do?

The time frame for the case to be assigned is 40 days , so you still in that range , dont panic

  13. I received and paid the AOS invoice
IV Visa invoice has not received
Do I have to send AOS and Financial Documents or wait until receiving and paid the IV visa invoice
    Please advice
    Thanks very much

you can send both AOS & IV Documents once you pay the AOS fee , just make sure to put the the receipt ( the cover letter ) on the top of your packages

  14. (Help me please)

After paid fee of affidavit of support I submitted my affidavit of support & civil documents to nvc before filling Ds-260 but now after 45days i filled my online visa application DS260 so my question is do i have to send civil documents again to nvc because i sent civil documents to nvc before filling ds 260 which i should send after filling ds-260 please help im new here☺☺ ( my case is immigrant visa- I-130 petition)

    No You dont have to

  15. I sent my payment May 21, received May 22. I just called today toverify if fees had been cleared, representative from NVC told me fees hd been received. I am still unable to open the DS260 form online, it still says PAY NOW. he told me to just keeping checking everyday. The good news he told me was the website will be up and running June 13.

if you browse the link in the CEAC webpage you ll see in the bottom of the page that they ll grant the access to the people who need access to ds 260 in about 10 days , so give it another week , also the DS 260 will not be unlocked till the IV is showing paid

    good luck

well... I mailed IV fee on May28, USPS said they recieved on May29 now my status on the website still shows "pay now" ...I know I still haven't been waiting that long ..guess I can't complain..

    BUT

I did see some ppl mailed IV fee on the same date and their status already showed as "paid" ... now that just makes me worried ... grrrrrr

in my opinion , its safer to use US bank to issue the cashier check than using the money order , anyway hope you get through this
