  1. Hey Guys

We are about to send document to NVC. Need some helps folks.

    1. NVC wants tax transcript for AOS. But also asked the actual tax form (We already have 2014 tax transcript. Also we have copy of tax form too). Confused. Which one to send ?

    2. It also talks about W2. Do we have to send W2 to NVC? Ain't that W2 to be brought at Interview?

With Side loading of evidence, Our paper work for NVC is 313 Pages without tax form and W2. And we are sending IV and AOS together. Is there any specific format or style to send all these paper ? (Has anyone made video of it?)

we have AOS Packet Clipped together, And IV packet clipped together and couple of bunch of evidence. We plan to find a big enough box to fit all these paper together and mail it. Any advise guys ??

    Thanks for your help guys

    Hi

Im in the same situation , so let me tell you what i think based on what i got from experienced people

You need to send your Wage and Income Transcript for 2014 , you can also attached your W2 with it

Note : all those documents you can print them out online through http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

    Good Luck

  2. Its highly unlikely they sent it out the day it was approved. Call NVC and establish if they actually have your case there and move from there.

i think even though they stated that they have sent the case but it still in the transit , it is just Vermont Center that is taking this long to send out the approval petition comparing with other Centers , im really disappointed.

  3. Did the NVC tell you that they have your package from USCIS yet? Mine took two weeks with USCIS AFTER APROVAL and then about another week in transit to NVC. So first thing first, determine if they have actually received your petition. If they have then you can bug them so you can get your information once they enter it in the system.

in the Approval letter that i got from the USCIS , it is stating that they have sent my original petition case on that 16th , so i assumed that the case should have been at the NVC already but they have not put into the system yet . is there any other way to know if they have received the case or not yet ?

    Thanks

  4. Thanks dandanos but i have f2a visa category not cr1..

For us it takes long time for processing :(

    Congratulations for the approval

so does the i130 , mine it took over 6months to get it approved , i was told by an officer that they have a ton of application this year , so i would keep being optimistic and hopefully you get it approved on this month , by the way mine was approved on 16th of April :)

    Good luck

  5. Calling them constantly does not help you. It can hinder you. They do keep a record of how often you call and the last thing you maybe want to do is annoy the people who you want help from. :) I've read quite a bit about people being told, Look Mrs Blank, you called yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that. We said it would take 30 days, please give us the time we need. Thank you.

hhhh if that the case i should have been told " stop calling twice a day" , as it become now a part of my daily activities .

well i give them a break now till monday evening then i ll start calling them once a day :) :)

  6. Hi everyone! Still now i didnt heard nothing from vsc, are they starting processing our forms???

I heard that they transferred some cases to csc for the delay but my case stay on their, is here some one who had an approval from vsc ?!

the time frame as it showing in the website is 5 months for the i130 to be approved and that depends on how many applications they have .

i got my approval on 16th of this month.

if i were you i would open a query with them and ask whats going on with your case .

    Hope this help

  7. Hi everybody

I am filling Form DS-260 for a diversity visa application and my mother's day and month of birth are unknown. i have only the year in which she was born. her original birth certificate contains only the year of birth. the form asks me for the day and month.

    what should I do.

    Salam

Thats a common issue , so what i advised you to do is just put 01/01 for month and day

    Ex : 01/01/1950.

    Hope that helps

  8. After you pay the AOS fee you can send both packages together, AOS envelop in one envelope, IV package in other envelope and both of them together and one big envelop

Thanks , how do i know that NVC received my case ? based on what they told me , they have 35 days to put it in the system but i just want to know if it has been received or not ?

    Thanks

  9. Hi Guys

My petition was approved on 16th of April , based on the approval letter my case should be in the NVC by now but its not in the System yet as i called them and said that it takes up to 35 days , So my question , can i send the AOS and IV packages once i get the Welcome letter form NVC and and choose the agent ? or do i have to pay AOS and IV then send the Package ?

Hope you guys have a wonderful journey with NVC :)

  10. My case was updated with a RFE on April 8th.. the issue was very simple - a missing signature.

It took 10 days to receive the RFE (18th), and I promptly fixed the error and sent it back same day.

    My case status:

On April 21, 2015, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number xxx. Our Nebraska Service Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. You should receive a decision or case update by June 20, 2015, unless fingerprinting or an interview are needed.

I'm hoping my case was thoroughly reviewed and on the brink of acceptance except for that missing signature.. and that it won't truly take 2 months to hear back from them. This separation is killing both of us!

Has anyone else had a RFE over such a stupid oversight? What was your processing time?

it looks like you ll get your i 130 approved soon since the only thing your missing is the signature , i ll allow 10 days for the operator to review the RFE and most likely he/she ll approve it , i see many cases got approved really quick for such problem. Just get ready for the NVC journey :) . hope this help

  11. Sorry to see that happening to you but that question is really hard to be answered as it depends on many factors ,

are you sure that your wife is cheating on you as it could be something made up by your friend ( you never know man ) .

lets say you really trust your friend , if that the case i would pay her an unplanned visit and ensure that she is cheating .

as long as you your CR1/IR1 in process you can visit USA.

I know its lot of work need to be done to get the visa but it really worth it , you dont want to get married with a cheater and the same time you dont want to take a wrong decision based on what your friend told you.

    bon chance , good luck

  12. Well i was able to get hold of one of the representative from NVC but unfortunately they have not received my case as of now , he told me to call back after 35 days and i was like nooooo dude i ll call you after two days :) , just a little advice , try to call as late as of 7.30pm and later or as early as 7.30 AM , i have tried 50+ times to go through when i called around 4pm (rush time)

    good luck

  13. That wasn't too long for you to wait then from when you sent in the documents till approval. Congratulations. :)

    Thank You

By the way how long it took the USCIS to ship your case to NVC ?

How long it took the NVC to assign a case number after they received the case .

if i was able to get the case number from NVC once without waiting till they send me the letter , will i be able to pay the fees ?

    Thanks in advance

    Congrats!

    Thank you

  14. RFE received - September 26 2014 ( need photocopy of original married certificate )

Respond to RFE- September 29 2014

    Approved - October 10 2014

    Hope this helps you !!!!!

    GOOD LUCK

    Hi Shada

it looks like the process time for RFE depends on whats documents they re asking for , in my case which is the same as yours its little bit faster since they only need one document , hope they get it approved sooooon

    Thanks for your reply

  15. Hi guys,

It's me again, it's been a week since we submitted the additional documents for RFE requested by CSC and we still haven't heard anything yet.

So here my story...they sent my fiance a letter requesting for evidence of us have been met in person in the past two years. It was sent on Feb 26, 2015 and we didn't get it until March 6. In the original package we sent them, we had included flight tickets, showing that both of us went this trip together (from Detroit to Seattle) and we also provided border travel records of us crossing the border together a few times every month for the past year (we both live on the border, yet the ones we provided were non-official since he has no stamps on his passport and I had included copies of my marked passport pages for B2 visa)

Either way, the letter says the flight tickets along can't prove anything and I guess they don't really share the same system with CBP or maybe they just don't bother to check our travel records.

This time, in reply to their RFE; we submitted a detailed letter of how we met and pretty much a timeline of we we have visited together (we traveled a lot in the past year, DC, Seattle, Portland), along with both of our credit cards transaction history and pictures with landmark when we traveled, and also a bunch of pictures of us being with my fiance's family for Christmas dinner for the past two years. In addition, I provided and highlighted credit card transactions that occurred when I stopped by the gas station outside his house, every time I went to visit him for the past 12 months (about 15-20 entries), along with a map showing route from the gas station to his house (literally 2 mins driving).

I also got "semi-official" record from CBP website of my travelling record.

My fiance sent out the package on March 17 and according to the MyUSCIS website, it is noted as

"On March 19, 2015, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxx. Our California Service Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. You should receive a decision or case update by May 18, 2015, unless fingerprinting or an interview are needed. "

For some reason we are still pretty nervous about this case. I don't know how long it will take CSC to process my case again :(

We really want to move in before September or maybe no later than October...best of luck to us all...

now do any of you have similar experience? Regarding the same reason for RFE or maybe CSC in general? How long do you think cases like this will take? (from receiving REF to NOA2)

Thanks you all for being super helpful and supportive all the time :)))))) really appreciated it

    :energy: :energy: :energy:

If i were the agent who is working on your case i would definitively approve your application , you gave enough evidences , hope you get approved in the next week.

i have kind of similar situation , i got RFE 5 days ago and it was for copy of original marriage certificate , i responded to them today and hopefully thats all what they need to approve my application as soon as possible

    Good Luck

  16. Hi Guys

I applied (I 130 ) for my wife On Sept 16 /2014 and updated my Immigration Status from Green Card holder to U.S Citizen On 11/2014 , so after that they start working on my case , 5 days ago they updated my status online stating that they suspended my case until i respond for the RFE ( they requested Original language Marriage Certificate ) which i did today and probably they ll receive it on Friday 3/2015. So my question here are .

I know the Processing time to RFE is somehow unpredictable but Could you please give me at least what was your time frame if you had the same situation ?
are they going to send another RFE in case they need more Docs ? if Yes then Why did not they included it on the previous one ?

If im lucky enough (well if my wife is lucky enough which i dont thing so   ) get approved , should i start gathering the NVC Documents required ? or wait till i get the NOA2 mail Notice ?

    Thanks for your help
