It should suffice as it is the current proof of your current status. Others have been submitting the same as that and I have not heard of anyone's N-400 being rejected for that reason.

Yes. You would need to request an appointment at a USCIS office for an I551 stamp in your passport. this extends your pending status for an additional period of time.

Hey guys, we just got notification that the GC is being produced. My husband's 751 was transferred to Potomac 5/3/19. I hope that others will start to see their cases process. We had no RFE, and no interview. Although, I would imagine that if there had been an interview we would have been transferred to NYC, our local, which did not happen. Thank God!!!!
I expect that on Monday we will recieve the notification of the approval on Monday, seems the usual process I have seen with others. I saw someone in MN get their card produce notification last friday, their approval notification on Monday, and recieved their card in hand on Wednesday. Hoping the same for my husband.

Yes. Thanks for asking. Just about an hour ago, I got an update on the old web site, egov.uscis.gov, that his card is being produced. I do not know why, but it seems everyone gets this update first and then the update notification that the case has been approved. So barring any mistakes by USCIS, I expect that we will get the approved update probably tomorrow. So I expect that the approval date will be today, 26 Jul 2019, 13 months and 11 days from the NOA1 date.

USCIS # is given when you register on myaccount.uscis.gov for making an online application. If you are registered on that site you should be able to find that number. But if N400 is your first online application, if you are filin online that is, then you will get that number with that application. We got this USCIS # when my husband did the online application for a replacement GC when we had wrong information on the card and had to have it corrected.

I noticed you entry into the US was almost 4 months after us. I'm sure you will have the ROC very soon. I'm not sure how we received the ROC faster than expected, but our process started in 2013 and it took forever to get the visa because of some complications. Keep us informed. We need to support each other. Once completely done, its quite a relief to have the citizenship and US Passport in hand.

Congrats! Hopefully that will be my husband and I too. But we are still waiting the decision of I751. We were transferred to Potomac in May and had hoped for a decision within one month like two others from our June 2018 group but are still waiting as of today. We may go ahead and start the N400 soon if no status change. We were originally planning to have done it already but did not want to change the outcome of the transger based on the previous two of our group's outcomes.

Me too. Since 5/3. But there have been 1 or two transferred from VSC to Potomac that have been approved before us. See the chart.

I think the best way to look at the issue of filing or not filing N400 while I751 is still pending is that the amount of time that it takes to process the N400 is ticking while you continue to wait for the I751 if you go ahead and file while pending or the time while wait to start ticking if you wait until the I751 is finished. The way I see it why not let them tick together and get to the finish line sooner with the N400. If there is a little lag time due to the I751 still pending when the N400 is processed and they are not adjudicated together, you are still ahead because once the I751 finishes then the N400 while finish its last steps.

@Amadia @Beddy2015 I hope so too. I was thinking the transfer was going to speed it up and then others at VSC started getting aporoved without transfer and we are still waiting. Hope it happens for all of us.

Has your file been moved again to the local office or is it still at Potomac? It would seem to me that it would be moved to the local office for the N-400 process since that requires an interview. I hope you hear something soon.
