Honestly, even if you get your NOA2 this month, the embassy probably still won't receive it for another 3 weeks. I don't think any summits or holidays are going to majorly delay your case.

That's wrong. I know who my child's father is, but him not being on the BC gives me full legal custody. I did not have any problems getting her passport.
If the father is not on the BC, the father DOES NOT need to appear. They never even asked me about him once they saw the BC. You will need to bring the BC with you because they may check as you leave the US and when you enter Thailand.

Both the G-325A and letter from each of you need to have a wet signature. Additionally it should be an original picture. Therefore, he will need to send them by mail.

No, people buy roundtrips on here all the time because it is cheaper. IF YOU STAY, then cancel the return flight. Sadly, I don't think you will.

Haha, I do the "quick check" version since I haven't been able to create an account. I usually only check it at work, not on the weekends. Maybe I need more to do at work

It depends on the embassy. Germany has wanted things before. I have seen some post a different letter than what is on the site.

I am not doing too bad here. I am a financial analyst and today is the last day of the fiscal year. I am pretty busy the next 2 weeks. So at least I have something to keep me occupied.
