Philly512 got a reaction from antoineD in Went to interview and left without decision
When I went to my interview two years ago I didn't get an answer the same day. I didn't get asked many questions as you did but the officer told me the same thing, that they would review everything and I should get an answer in the next 30 days. My status changed to approved the next day

That is exactly what my husband did for me and in less than 6 months I had a nice credit score

This is quickly becoming something that's none of my business, but what is your fiance's ex girlfriend doing with his phone, or in a position to have access to it? It sounds like something beyond your knowledge is going on here. Either he's way too close with his ex, or he's not being honest with you and cancelled it himself.

I put N/A in categories that did not apply, but no every single blank space on every form.
    One check
Everyone I've heard of sends a cover letter.
B/W should be fine.  Not everyone has access to color copier.
What are you filing for?  Is it listed in the guides?

Just make sure your checking account statements and credit card statements are representative of the entire time you've been together, because that's what they'll want to see.
Do you have any cards or letters, addressed to you both, at the same address? You can include copies of those.

I think you have more than plenty of documentation.  By the way, the affidavits by friends are the least important.  Always remember that the documentation they look more closely is all signs that you shared common economical ties like 3 years of tax returns, joint bank account, joint rental agreements, joint bills and insurances, etc.

Like others have said, show credit/checking statements from throughout your marriage. Personally, I sent the oldest statement and the newest statement for each account.
I think the document showing your husband as legal guardian of your eldest child would be useful.
I included one piece of paper with multiple photos printed on it, from throughout our marriage - a mixture of seasons and some with family/friends in them. But just one piece of paper. I also sent photocopies of the boarding passes from trips we had taken together. I suspect that was just one piece of paper too.

For this type of documentation how much do you send, surely not every month of banking statements ? first and last?
Do the stuff like beneficiaries have to be super recent, like I added my wife right away, but you know technically could change it. Do i need to get updated/recent stuff before filing?

If not probing, if you have medical thru employer ....how/why do kids get insured via state?

It looks good and you shouldn't worry at all. This is the exact same documentation I had for my wife when we did her ROC. She was approved with no interview. So go for it and you know we are here to help out if needed.

I thought the same, it's a public forum and if they one to complain and "" about it I think they are free to do it ...I feel like just because Leo is the one who keeps track of things around here doesn't mean he can so rude, but this is coming from one of those who got her green card months ago so I should just be quiet ...just felt saying it, sorry not sorry

Yeah They are almost twins lol. Too bad is not in the same city so we all could go have coffee and celebrate after the interviews lol ...good luck to you too, 28 more days seems like a lot but like my husband said, we weren't expecting an interview so soon so it could be worse
