246 days waiting here.....

When did TSC receive your RFE response in their system? My case was updated received on Friday May 8, and I was approved Tues May 19. Took 7 working days, so hopefully your wait is almost over

Nothing for us. I might be wrong but it seems like they are approving people who had an RFE, as far as I know, we haven't been processed at all. Case still marked as "received" since September 16th.

I'm gonna randomly throw that here, would anybody on this thread be interested if I'd do a Facebook group (closed) where we could share a bit of our lives about the post-TSC? I've got to known a couple of you personally and it would be awesome to see your weddings/littles ones. I'm suggesting a group because it's allow us to show limited things, for those who wishes to keep their personal Facebook.. Well.. Personal!

so our RFe was about:

1/petitionary letter of intent to marry.

2/Two years meeting requirement: we already send all the documents, we will send them again(pictures, statement, proof of visits...).

Hopefully TSC will scan it in and flag it as "Received" on Monday.

Sent back the RFE response yesterday - package was delivered this morning. Let's see how long it takes for it to be "Received" by TSC and the case page updated.

I received my text Alert on April 30th. I had the RFE letter in the mail on May 4th. They were looking for further evidence of intent to marry within 90 days. We both wrote new letters of intent and signed, and included other correspondence about wedding plans. I received my fiance's signed letter today so the packet will go out to TSC tomorrow.

I am sobbing.

But it's of happy tears!

Thanks! I was actually surprised the letter was here already. I was talking with M today, and he was actually going to send out another letter tomorrow so that I would have it just in case anyway. I'll resubmit copies of my contracts, along with any new ones since then. Also, we did send some save the dates, and I have extra, so I'm thinking of including that because it does say "announcements".

Hoping to have everything back to them by Friday of this week.

So - I got my RFE notice on April 30th and the letter arrived today. They want Proof of Intent to Marry. I'm shaking my head lol - I'm glad its easy, but with the initial packet we sent signed letters (2-one for me and one for Michael), contract with venue for date, contract with photographer for date, contract with DJ for date, and all proof of payments LOL.

M will send me new letter overnight tomorrow, so I should get it on Wednesday so it can be overnighted and sent back. They should receive by end of the week.

I'm really glad its something simple, but I'm also really annoyed because it's just delaying the process more.

For the folks who got RFEs late last week or over the weekend, I received a RFE notification on April 24th (11:16 am edt via email and 1:16 pm edt via TXT). The paper letter that actually described what evidence I needed to send and the address to send to did not arrive until May 2nd (8 calendar days ...TX to FL I am assuming). I overnighted the document back to the Mesquite TX PO BOX on Monday May 4th with delivery expected on May 5th before noon. (Fiance letter of intent ... I had her sign one the last time I was in Brazil so I was ready).

The letter from USCIS will include a cover sheet that you have to mail back to them, so don't think you can jump the gun and send the evidence you know you are missing as soon as you get the email/txt.

Hope this helps. I know I was worried last week that the letter was lost in the mail or got thrown away by mistake.

Thanks for the info! We both included these letters when we sent the first packet, but they may have lost them. I'm tempted to have M just send me a new one in case, so that I have it by the time the letter arrives lol.

It feels weird to not be waiting for a text/email alert anymore. Now waiting in a different way. I've come to terms with the fact that at least I have heard something about my case, instead of the unknown. I'm glad you have finally heard something as well and I will continue to pray and hope all of September gets their approvals soon!

Ugh, sitting at JFK now and having to yet again say bye to my better half is heartbreaking. His "our visa will be approved soon, love" just tore my soul apart further haha. One day there will be no more goodbyes! Hoping the rest of us get approvals next week.
