Trust me, I do understand what you're going through. For I am and have went through the hurry up and wait process with each stage of the crazy journey.... One day seems like forever to me and it has been like that since the day I filed in April...... Everyone on VJ should know and be sympathetic because we all are waiting on something or another! And we should be here to support each other. If someone is tired of you posting, they should just move along to the next topic that catches their eye. No need to bother you if they are tired of entertaining your concerns.
One thing I have read, and was afraid of myself, is that when doing a background check and you have a common name, they have to go through and look more in depth at the biographic information of the individual. That's the only hold up I can think of. They check the petitioners background at the service center and they check internationally the applicants background at the NVC. So maybe they are just doing a little more research. I know when I was calling and they had received my case, the generic answer they gave for the wait time to go to embassy is "up to 4 weeks".
But I know when you're expecting something and it exceeds the time you expect, your mind begins to race and you get nervous. Just say a prayer and keep the faith. Everything will work out fine and in God's time.

I disagree...even the embassy confirmed today that they are back logged. The lady then referenced the expedite request and gave me instructions to get the medical done in the next day or so. Furthermore the lady at the hospital was certainly not nice when I told her the interview was only a week away as they have a week to 10 days before interview as minimum guidelines.
As a matter if fact my brother in law applied for his daughter a month after me and was told yesterday that it may be another two months before he hears from the NVC and not call back before that.. He is entering his 14th month. I know persons waiting for Kingston interviews who have case complete before me and some finished before me have interview dates after me. As such I am unsure which line you believe has sped up incidentally only after oral confirmation by both NVC and embassy of an expedite approved.

You mentioned 3. That's hardly many. Few months back the same kind of post was made of Nigerian men. On any given day you can find any nationality post about their cheatin husband or wife, American or otherwise. It happens.
Your question really should be "why do people who say they love you cheat on you"? Irrespective of nationality.

Had our interview today in Jamaica.... Arrived at the Embassy with my fiancé at 9:00 for a 9:30 appointment. Wasn't much of a line outside and checked in with the First Lady outside. She looked at our appointment letter and circled the date and time and gave it back. Also looked at the DS160 confirmation page. We were then instructed to go in the building, where we went through security. Went through the courtyard to the consular building, where we were greeted by another worker, who took both of our passports, and the appt letter , looked at ds160 confirmation, and receipt for paying visa. She gave the passports back but kept the appt letter. They had him write his passport number on a piece of paper and attached our number and directed us into another area where we waited for our number to be called.
We were called to the first window at 9:15. She asked for ds160 conf page, receipt of payment, original birth certificate for him, no impediment (original), police record (original), Affidavit of Support form along with tax returns and employer letter. I had the bank letter, statements, check stubs, benefits and retirement available but she did not ask for them. Only the tax returns and letter from employer. She had him sign 2 papers, 1. Stating he hasn't gotten married since No Imped issued. 2. That he wouldn't get married until he enters the US.
She then took his passport and passport pictures and stapled in our folder. Fingerprinted him and told us to have a seat and wait for name to be called..
Wasn't a long wait, but it sure felt like it was forever!!! We were both nervous. We got called up to another window and she was very nice and pleasant. Took fingerprints again for verification.
She asked if he had been married before, and if I had been married before. We both have so we showed her our divorce decrees and she gave them back.
Asked him if he had been to US before, which he has, and then asked why he came back to Jamaica.
She mentioned this was our second filing and the only other question she asked was why he didn't make it to the interview of our previously filed K1 Petition.
She took NO evidence of our relationship or any other documents. Told us everything looked in order and to go home and wait for the Visa to come.... You are APPROVED, Best of Luck to y'all.
Only issue we had is that we have a trip planned in July that he will need his passport for and with the computer glitch that is happening we were concerned he wouldn't get it back in time. The lady was very helpful and eased our worry. She gave him an appointment for the day before our trip and said if he hadn't received the passport and visa before then he could come back to embassy and pick up his passport for the trip, and then return it to them when he returns. We walked out of the Embassy at 10:00...
We were excited and surprised that they let me attend the interview with him.. So glad that this step is over and we can move on... PRAISE JESUS... So glad our CO was personable!!!! Now time to pop the champagne!! LOL

I just received a phone call from a Polish girl who has been with him for the last three years. The house he was building is actually hers. His car is hers, etc. Her visa application for him was denied...then he met me. From what I gathered from her there is Swedish girl as well.
Polish girl knows Swiss girl's phone # and forwarded it to me. I guess she got all of our numbers from Skype (he gave her his password) Idiot.

On behalf of my people. We're sorry you came across one of the scums that are from our country. We don't like them either. Please don't hold it against the rest of us. Promise most of us are nice people with honorable intentions. There are just a few that were taught manners by wild goats and don't have any comprehensions of human decencies.

It up to you to decide if you want to pursue it. I know I would but i am very vindicate and wouldn't be able to move on until I royally screwed him over. I would notify everyone suggested here and I would find out who that girl is and send her an email filled with proof of the relationship. I do agree that it seems fishy that he would go to Switzerland than than come here as I'm almost sure no knows more ppl in the US. I wouldn't put anything past him but I don't think he would go through all that trouble when he could have just came here stayed with you for a little while then took off. But obviously he isn't the smartest person out there.
I am so pissed off and I don't know you. He needs his butt kicked for being so awful.

USCIS to withdraw the petition Customs and Border Protection (CBP) so he can be refused entry The US Embassy in Kingston to have the visa cancelled Don't bother with ICE, this is outside of their scope. Up to you if you want to contact applicable Swiss authorities.

Really too bad...I have a hunch that their relationship won't last too long either.

These are the @#$%^ that make it hard for good people. You did nothing wrong and the hurt will pass. Be glad that this happened now rather than after you got married to him. The best thing you can do is move on and live a happy life. He will not prosper, karma will get him. I assume you are Jamaican born and it might be hard to explain to the people around you what happened but don't let anyone make you feel guilty. You took a chance on love and that's commendable. That chick probably knows nothing about you and he's just trying to make you feel bad. You have missed out on nothing but pain. Call embassy, cry, delete him and move on with your life.

Unfortunately even if your expedite request is approved, it doesn't mean your petition/s will be processed expeditiously...at least at TSC. My expedite requests for wife and son were approved on April 29th. After three weeks without any news, my senator's office contacted them for an update. Was told it would be processed in 7 to 10 days. Still waiting...

It's possible that he's uneducated about how reproduction works and believes a lie that some lady told him.

It's possible that he's lying to you about when the relationship ended.

My husband is from Haiti and says that he's never heard a story like that. He says that your fiancé needs to be real with you because that story is unbelievable. It's definitely not something most (if any) Haitians actually believe.

Congratulations on getting your expedite in. I understand that people are in more extreme situations (not sure what those situations could be since everyone on here is trying to get their loved ones here), but you did the work and got the results congratulations!

I agree, people who have more extreme emergencies should apply for the expedite and should also receive it. Unfortunately I am not the USCIS and cannot control their decisions. I personally decided to request it based on my information and I'm happy the USCIS made the decision that they did. I thought this was the kind of group where I was supposed to share good news and share the information I was learning about the process with others going through the same thing, but I am new to this group so maybe I misunderstood.

Jamaica's mailing system is actually not that bad. I used their express mail service to send off my package to NVC and it got there ok and on time. I have also received quite a few valuable packages and have not once had a problem.

I brought my finance here on a K-1 VISA from Ghana. I dated this person three years prior to marrying him I believe with all my heart he truly love and care for me, but I would soon find out it was a lie. He entered the U.S March 2014 last and we married at the March everything seem good at the first five months. Then things begin to change he begin to stay up all night chatting later I found out that he was on different dating sites trying to meet other woman . We got into it and he promise it wouldn't happen again I loved him and I wanted our marriage to work and things started to get better. To my surprise I found out that he has been in another relationship in another town where he was supposedly working. Their pictures was all over the internet I was so hurt and went into depression, I realized he has another life with another family . He told people he was here on business and he had not attended to be with me. I am so confused right now until I don't know what to do he got his Ead and is waiting on his paperwork. I cant not afford the removal of condition ,Is there anything I can do please help me!!!! I have all the pictures of him and the other women together and even from the other dating sites
