  1. I just got an interview date!

    It's November 6 at 9:20 am!

    :joy::jest::dance::joy::jest::dance::joy::jest::dance::joy::jest::dance::joy::jest::dance::joy::jest::dance::joy:

I have had such a difficult year, I really hope my interview will be okay and the beginning of a new and better life for my family.

I am hoping all of you who are still waiting will get good news soon.

    Much love to all (L)

    Yay! Congratulations!

I'm so happy to hear February filers are one by one getting interview date. We are so close to the finish line.

    Good luck on your interview!

  2. Hi everyone and congratulations to all who have gotten a Case Complete. I just wanted to ask how many days after the affidavit of support fees goes from paid to N/A do we receive an email of our case complete. My fee has been showing as N/A since the 29th of September but we still havent received a Case Complete email. Thanks everyone! :goofy:

My husband called NVC right away after we got the 3rd magical N/A. We never received any email regarding CC, but we got email after my interview was scheduled. Just call NVC and ask for confirmation. :)

  3. Thanks for the advice!

I will bring AOS package to the interview with everything else that might prove my husband's employment in the states.

    Another question.

Last night, I asked an agent from the embassy on the chat about our case and he resistered me onto https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ . (He hasn't answered our question yet.) According to the site, I don't have any appointment. Does this mean I lost my interview date? I've asked them to give me an earlier date for 3 times and I am worried I was too pushy.

Have you filled out your profile, such as your case number and PD? Is Visa Information on the website written as IR1?

I just did mine last night and before I filled out my profile it didn't say anything, not even my case type. But after that it says IR1. Just like you, mine still says no appointment is currently scheduled. I think as long as you have your P4 letter you don't have to worry.

  4. Thank you.. Yeah stress free.. I can sleep well now.. Anyways the consul only ask me when is my bdate.my husband's bdate.work in the US.where he live in the US.. First marriage together.. Who came on our wedding day.. It's all basic question.. So easy.. Thank God for the guidance..

Wow, that's awesome. Hope I will be asked same questions next month. It's still a month from now but I've started feeling nervous already. Thanks for sharing :)

  5. So, I've Heard and seen a lot of people talking about that infamous "Affidavit of Support Fee" go from "Paid" to "N/A", which makes a total of Three "N/A"'s. I logged on to the CEAC website just now and saw just that. Could it really be a Case Complete or could it still be that they want/need more information? I'm about to pass out I Think..!!

It's 99% a CC but try to call NVC to make sure. :)

  6. As far as I've noticed, the P4 letter won't ever mention the new I-864, but they could easily ask you to present it *at* the interview. To my understanding, what makes the new form a requirement (or not) is your interview date in relation to 10/6/15, as per this statement:

Starting 10/06/15, USCIS will only accept the 07/02/15 edition. Until then, you can use the 03/22/13 edition.

In any case, it is always a good idea to bring the updated I-864 with you to the interview, if at all possible.

So if my interview is on 10/27/15, should I bring new I-864ez form? I used the 03/22/13 edition one and NVC didn't say anything about it. If it's true then I have to ask my husband to mail the updated I-864ez again.

  7. I was thinking that but seeing its just 2 weeks why mess up the apple cart and complicate things. You are almost done. So long as everything is cool no need. But if asked sure submit new forms. Like where does your husband work now you would have to mention the new place and say by the way he just started 2 weeks ago and we weren't sure if we needed to submit a new I-864 but here is one all done by my husband just in case.

Sure. Thanks again, dwheels76! I will tell the truth if they ask for his current job :)

  8. This is my suggestion. have just in case. But if not asked for don't offer might invite questions. They have I-864 and well just flow with it but keep aside never offer nothing you aren't asked for.

The right too remind silent come to mind. LOL

Yes, mam! Silence is golden! :content:

But no matter what I still need to give original I-864ez form to USEM since it's mentioned as S or 'NVC only received a scanned document' in my P4 letter. That is why I asked should I give them updated one or not.

  9. Amen thats what I am saying. You might get a CO that looks at the job as not secure. You a job jobber. Unless it can improve your case. I say quiet as its kept. But you didn't hear it from me. LOL :luv:

Oh, so I got it wrong then. I thought you were saying that I should update the form and let the CO knows about it. I will stay quiet then, but of course prepare the updated 864ez in case it's needed.

  10. Yes you will need a new I-864ez and update and an employment letter since you probably won;t have a paystub to show and since it would be the first one you need to show what the salary will be.

    Thank you, dwheels76!

I will follow your input and already told my husband to send me updated 864ez as soon as he gets the offer letter. I've read on one thread that you should inform any change happens between your CC and interview date so I will just go with that.

  11. I believe jayisis is correct. I talked to an agency with the same question. And he answered that if it just one or two weeks, dont mention at the embassy at all.. just show the recent pay stub if and only if asked for proof. I'm sending the new I-864 form with the same details as I filled in the previous form. Most important is that - just mention that no change happened, since visa application submission, in terms of job.

    Good luck!!!

Noted! Thanks for your reply! I won't mention any new change at embassy. My husband also told me to not say anything about it since it may create a problem later.

  12. If this was my situation, since it's only 2 weeks before interview, unless the new job has a tidy income increase that would help my case, I wouldn't complicate things by informing them.

    Hi maniput,

I wonder how they will know if he just started a new job two weeks prior to the interview. Bring the most recent pay stub for new job as well as the last pay stub for old job. I would ask NVC, the embassy, and then bring the original I-864 EZ and another updated 864EZ with new job, regardless of what they say. I am holding off on starting a job anywhere else until the visa is approved since I do not know how they treat a sudden job change. Hopefully it is all good. Also, bring a resume for your spouse and for yourself, just in case they ask for it or it may help somehow.

    Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I just hope embassy won't ask me that, although big possibility they may ask that. I just hope it won't be a big deal for them. I will ask my husband to send another updated 864EZ, scan his last pay stub plus his resume. But of course I won't show or tell them if they don't ask anything about it.
