Hello everyone
Habpy Belatee Merry Christmas. Remember the reason for season. Wishing everyone here a speedy visa approval. And please don't worry it'll be over worry free. I took a bunch of other supporting docs to the interview and they did t request anything else. The officer said she had everything they needed and I'll get my passport back in 2 weeks. I got it back in less than a week.
For those who ha e entered the US already, how's the experience ? Is it a long time to process at the POE? I need to know that I can have a longer layover if it's possible since my flight is definitely connection. Please and thanks !
I think it depends on the airport and the officer. You should see POE review of the airport you're going to be at. For me, it took around 7 minutes for the process including picture and fingerprint, but the waiting in line was 20 mins. It was at Dulles Airport, VA.

Merry Christmas everyone! May the joy and peace from God be with us all

I thank God for all he has done. Grateful that all the visa journey is finally over. Compliment of the season to everyone. Had my interview today and it was awesome. The consular was friendly and we conversed and laughed like this was so unbelievable. She didn't go through any documents I brought and that was the most thrilling part. My questions were like a conversation than a question. All thanks to God. I was asked the ffg; So your husband is calling u? How did u met? For how long have you known him? When did you become romantically involved? So was it the first time he visited you got married? Where does he live? So when I said Michigan she asked me what my husband told me abt Michigan with a smile? And I said he said it was very cold she yes. That her parents lives in Michigan that I should get enough winter wears for this season and I laughed that my husband had bought many for me. We bought laughed. Finally she asked me what I do? And I told her a physical therapist but am presently not working because my dad passed away recently so she sounded sympathetic she was sorry to hear that. And she said oh, we need a physical therapist in the US cuz it high skilled and she told me she had a friend who is a physical therapist and I smiled. She smiled and said ok your Visa has been APPROVED and gave me two papers where to pick my visa and how to pay for the green card. So glad God saw us to the end. I pray everyone here is approved like I was. No1 deserves to be apart from their spouses. Season greeting ya all
Congratulations, sweetymcbeal!
Hurrah. I got the visa. It will be delivered to the local center in 3-4 days.
It goes for around 30 mins. It was intense. I was registered interview in local language in Mumbai consulate, but all the questions were asked in English.
It was great though. They were nice and polite. But I am sure now that they grill you to get all information they want about you. So, PREPARE yourself no matter what others say. It always helps.
Thanks Jayisis and others for all your help.
Thanks again.
I am going to US before 31st.
Congratulations, jojo777! Hope you'll have an awesome New Year with your spouse!
Yipeeee yipeee! Visa approved today in Kingston Jamaica. The overall thing took about three hours. Hey even pulled he immigrant applicants out of the long line and placed us at the front of the line. We were seated unlike the non-immigrant applicants. It was too easy. The questions they asked were:
How many kids she has and their age
How many times she come and see me
What's the longest I spent in America
How long I was in Canada
Where did we meet
And if I ever had a criminal record in Canada or anywhere else
Congratulations, j-zealous!

Hi everyone. I am brand new to this website. I have a fiance in Indonesia. Her father is insisting that we be married in Indonesia. So it looks like we will be getting married on June 4th, there in Indonesia. However, I don't want to be married for almost a year and having to live without my new wife. I have children, so I can't stay there with her. Are there any tips to speed things up?
Hi there,
It took 8.5 months for me for CR1 process. I know every case is different but it can be less than a year if you have all the documents well-prepared, especially at NVC stage. My husband and I prepared everything by ourselves. I did most of the information reading on this forum and shared it to my husband so we had all the documents ready even before they were needed.
Good luck!

Good news! After having to put in extra time and extra sacrifices being in Administrative Processing 221g after my interview in 10/08/2015...I'm finally got my visa today. Details of my 221g journey in my timeline comments.
God is so, so good! And big thanks also to St. Joseph the Worker after 9 days in novena...10th day...i suddenly got ISSUED status!
Congratulations on getting the visa!
Visa approved hr his morning in Kingston
I'm not in here much but I want to echo what j-zealous said - if your embassy is back logged, try for an expedite. Esp ppl from Kingston. I've seen a lot of approvals lately.
Yay! Congratulations! Hope you can spend Christmas with your husband this year
-

Congratulations on your interview date! yay!
I called NVC today and I got an interview date for January 15th 2016. I'm so grateful to God and all thanks to the February Fliers for all your support. I pray that everyone waiting for CC and interview date will get good news soon.
Congratulations, finben!

Thank you. So its not a problem to apply right away after marriage?
That won't be a problem. I applied less than a month after my marriage.
-
2 days before the interview... Freaking out... We can't sleep or eat..
Good luck for your interview! Don't be nervous, give your best smile and be yourself.
-
I really hope so,but it's so unfair because everything was sent, what to do, but just send it anyway.
I agree. NVC can be kinda pushy even though it might be them who lost your marriage cert., not your fault. Just send them what they want and be done with it. Do not waste another day and time.
-
Wow..... I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I pray that after they receive the documents required they'll give you the cc.
I'm so happy that you've arrived to America safe and sound in the arms of your love one. I wish you all the best on your new journey there.
Thank you! I wish you all the best too for your next step.
Just called NVC, unbelievable, we sent all the documents, and now we have a checklist for our marriage certificate, they need a copy of it... It was sent.. guess we have to send it again..... 30 days wasted. Not happy at all.
So sorry to hear that. Hopefully NVC will work fast on your case after they got copy of your marriage cert.

Hi everyone,
Thank God I arrived safely yesterday and survived the 24 hours flight. Happy that I got to spend Thanksgiving with my husband this year. Bad news is I forgot to ask when will I get my greencard in mail to the officer at the airport cause I was too overwhelmed with joy haha.
Best wishes for all who are still waiting for a CC and interview date!
-
@Maniput I wish you a safe trip as you travel to America.
Thank you, finben! Hope you get your interview date soon.
-
to pay the green card fees the 165$ , they are asking a 9 digit numbers for the A number and i just have only 8 digit numbers
whats that mean ????????
Hi, you have to add 0 as the first number before your 8 digit numbers. Hope that helps.
