Okay, question. How would I go about changing my address if I have a CC date at NVC and I'm waiting for an interview? Will it delay my husbands case if I request it right now? Should I just wait since they send everything via e-mail anyway?

based on that i would suggest make sure the USC has set mail forwarding but most probably you will get everything in email.

Thanks Sukie for your valuable input, sincerely appreciate it. After I hit panic button, I did some thinking and decided I will wait till next week to take action either way. Reason being Scan date for my docs is June 3rd, and i have not finished ds-260 yet (website issues) so my guess is next week I will get a checklist if they get to review my case and i have not done ds-260 yet, and that means they would have reviewed my docs by then. or maybe they will be ok since 2012 salary amount, plus i put $2000 less and not more. I put my 2014 salary there by accident which is 2k more. my guess is they care for my current salary more. I decided i will gamble since SD is so close (30 days today), if i had seen this 2 weeks ago then I would have for sure sent the correction as it would not have affected me as much. thanks as always for your sanity check and advise.

Congrats to everyone whose i130 has been approved. We just got approval on Wednesday! Can someone offer me any help in determining what docs we should prepare in the mean time for the NVC. dwheels/mrs sukie ny ..... I just noticed i put my income a few thousand dollars less for 2012 than whats reported on the tax transcript. I somehow had a copy/paste error and put in the 2014 income which was abut 2k less. both the incomes are way above the poverty guidelines. Do you think I should a corrected i-864 or wait to see if they send me a Checklist for it. I am still awaiting to fill out ds-260.

Exactly the same thing happened to me yesterday. When she told me again that she had no idea how much longer it would take, I burst into tears (couldn't help it, how embarrassing). The rep was very sweet and tried to reassure me that it would be done soon, but I was beyond the ability to talk at that stage so I just said thank you and goodbye, and hung up. I feel sorry for anyone who isn't 100% emotionally, mentally or physically. You have to be made of stone/steel to get through this process in one piece.

sorry to hear MrsBrook, I had my breakdown monday when I was printing out everything to send to hubby so he has a copy of everything when the interview comes, the whole folder disappeared without any error or anything, i broke down. I had to recollect all documents and redo all of it, luckily this time it was quicker as i had them in multiple places and i store most of them in an online secure vault. They just needed to be reconsolidated.

its the date when NVC receives it. You will get the same communicated in email from the email address listed on the ds-261

not yet, i am trying to stay off their radar. i didn't call them the entire week. i am hoping they hold their promise of fixing things early next week and i somehow get lucky by them ignoring me few more days and not CL me. and i can do away with Supervisor review too. well if that happens i will definitely buy a lotto ticket as well.

Thanks I guess I am still couple weeks away then I mailed mine on June 12th and they got it june 15th. i still dont have the pay online option. i am willing to pay twice and move on as soon it becomes available, until then holding my breath for the website to get fixed.

I have a question about PCC and passport. My wife was issued a PCC on her currently valid passport and by the time her interview will be scheduled she will have less than 6 months for the passport to expire and hence she will need to renew her passport. Is that going to create a discrepancy? The PCC has the current PP number printed. Logically it should not but I would like your experiences

I would think its ok, it would work just like a valid visa in old passport, keep your old passport with you. and you could also ask the local passport agency if PCC is valid with the old passport number. depending on where you are in the process, when you get new passport you could get a new PCC if its allowed with new psp number and take that with you. my guess is nvc will tally old psp number with number on pcc and fwd to delhi.

ugh still!!!!!!!!! i am blah as is, so am avoiding them this week. hoping next week brings some luck to me. i am avoiding them this week coz my SD is june 3 and i haven't been able to do ds-260 yet so trying to avoid the CL, not that me not calling them will allow them not to issue me a CL but hoping i can get to do ds-260 before a CL.

maybe my CL will be out of sight out of mind till ds-260

same here, i donno about the boss part as i have a new one, i am hoping she is ok with me taking time off, i think i will probably be taking only 7-10 days off. i would love for both of us to travel here together but not sure if that would happen with the current state of affairs at DOS.
