  1. 660 Pages .. Wao.. and above all you counted themmm.. again super waoo and super neat

yes i counted manually, lol no, i went and printed all that at a printing place so the printing is faster and in a way cheaper than the toner and paper and time with the home use printer. i knew i had lot of pages so they turned on the meter for me and charged me per page :)

but yes i stamped them with the case number manually each page, except about 100 odd pages of whatsapp chats. i stamped some random pages in it not all.

  2. i can relate, i kept my hubby awake till about 2am his time yday and called his sister(local to me) and stop helping her husband in backyard and give me some info and then called his mom in england to ask what year did they move to the home hubby spent his childhood, they moved when he was 17 and ds-260 wanted everything from his 16 yrs of age. and amidst all this excitement forgot to open the doggie door, but my baby knew what i was going thru, he didnt get upset with me or bug me and hence made me forget to open the door. i realized that 3 hours after we both woke up!!! and profusely apologized to my fur-baby.

  3. And It says

''The online Get Transcript service is currently unavailable. You may still order transcripts using the Get Transcript by Mail service. We apologize for any inconvenience.''

So is there any need of Tax Transcript if I have all these forms (a lot of Form 1040 and Form IT) ???

they are about the same but transcripts are tad bit better, if you are sending in forms, send everrrrryyyyyyyyyyythinggggggggg all the schedules, itemized deductions etc.

irs website is currently not letting anyone download the transcript due to their breach, so you have to call and order transcripts, they arrive in about 7-10 days. but no reason to delay - you can order them now, but if you have all documents ready just send in the package and hopefully there wont be any issues

  4. suzannepeck, for my husband we filled in all the info we knew of. he had one employer who does not exist anymore, put the dates he worked there, he remembered the supervisor name, and luckily he remembered the address but looked up had an old employment verification letter. for phone number and address we put that old address and number we had. it happens all the time that companies close, we can put the last known address. hth

  5. Same here :(

This feels like someone has pressed an unnecessary pause on our lives.

    NVC keep apologizing and apologizing

Although it's nice to hear at them at moment, the apology does not help at all.

We have sent two proofs via express mail, and one via email

    And still.. Nothing

Keep being told that AOS fee has nothing to do with IV fee

And I do see people here being issued both at the same time

Not us, we have to wait and hear apologies.

My mother in law passed away two weeks ago - I wasn't there

I am really trying to stay positive but this weekend was extra hard reading about a lot of progress being made

We are still at the same spot.

I am praying for some movement on our cases too.

I feel your pain, seems like we both are/were in the same boat. you could not request expedite with your MIL's passing? our neighbors daughter (over 21) case was granted expedite when he was on death bed and though she did not make it before the death, her interview was 1-2 days after death, she made it to the funeral. This process is just tearing our families apart. I have a family situation but can't request expedite (luckily a happy one), but a lot riding on my hubby being here. the happy times and his being away are causing delays on the occasion hence the stress. sigh... hang in there my friend, we all shall be done with this hopefully soon.

as for your aos fee does it show paid or not even that? is it just the IV fee being stuck now coz you mailed them together?

  6. for all that were stuck with Ds-260 after IV fee was mailed in, and now see PAID for IV fee, do you see you lines/two receipts at the CEAC portal or just the AOS receipt?

My IV fee shows paid and i was able to complete ds-260 but when i click on Paid next to IV fee just shows me AOS receipt for now. Another friend who is couple months ahead of me has two lines one for AOS and one for IV fee, maybe since it just got marked as PAId in the system the receipt will come along in next 2-3 days?

  7. Looks like the website working for everyone, again, yet we are left behind.

I am so sick of this

    Two months has passed

Congrats to all of you guys !!! Glad it's working for some.

Today has been super hard looking at all of the happy and extatic comments whole we again have no movement.

grrr i forget where you are stuck, did you mail in the IV fee and still not showing paying online, maybe monday is your day, the website had said give them till end of monday to fully fixing the website. praying for you. i am on the same timeline as you or worse, uscis took 6 months for me instead of 5 which it took for most, hoping for a speedy next step for all of us.

  8. Hey guys!!...who among you paid IV by mail on 29th of June and showed IV fee as PAID on ceac website now?..it's still not paid for me..just show the amount

Hi Pam, i sent mine on 12th and they received on the 15th and today after the website thing it now shows paid, if they received yours on 29th, did they send you an email with the receipt? if yes, then it maybe a classic case of it takes upto 21 days for mailed in payments to show up or you may still be stuck with the website issue, give it up at least till end of day and then call NVC. if they did not send you email then definitely call nvc tomorrow, good luck and keep us posted.

  9. Please help us. We're completing the i864 form. I am the beneficiary. Where can we locate the alien number for the beneficiary?

I believe if you have never lived/resident in the United states before you won't have A number. Your spouse or the petitioner will have one (that's the green card number also can be located on the naturalization cert). in most cases beneficiary will not have it. i had left mine as blank for the beneficiary's A number.
