I say we keep it dwheels if there is a duplicate thread (yes i am part of it) some ppl chose to be part of both, some ppl are not and information sharing with overload of information never hurt anyone. i've had my share of journey and would love to come back one day and party like a rockstar

Agree, If there are precautions we can take to avoid the chaos at NVC we should, there is no guarantee either way that they will definitely disregard your documents if case number is not written on it, but hey if they loose a paper out of the big pile of papers somehow it can get joined. Saylin's wiki and the other wikis suggest the same as well, and Saylin put emphasis on it for a good reason. I did the same thing as 1stLoveRedo, I was lazy to write on 150 pages so i printed labels as well and stuck them while i was half asleep .... whats that old saying.... prevention is better than cure.... prevention is better than getting stuck at NVC and listening to agents script to our questions....

i am right there with you, i check 3-4 times every hour if i can pay online as well. i will worry about refund later, i also want to get over with tihs process.

this week has been extra difficult, no idea why, i think mainly because we were planning a trip around july 4th holiday and now that's not possible being continents apart.

and 2 months from today will be 1 year anniversary.

yes that's what i meant, i was invoiced about two weeks ago, sent the cheque, they sent me the receipt this week but ds-260 is not available and neither the option to pay online.

so that's why i am guessing maybe next week or maybe 2 weeks , who knows.

morgan, after getting the IV fee invoice how long did it take for the online payment link opened for you. I am sorry i couldn't figure that from your timeline, i know you mailed it may 15, and then you were a lucky gambler to pay it twice and now ds-260 opened. but curious when the online link became available to you, i am trying to guesstimate how long will it become enabled for me. ofcourse there is no estimate from the nvc phone agents

I just had a baby boy today , how unlucky I'm I couldn't even a eye witness of my child, I even tried for a expedite and its been denied, dnt know when I'm gonna see my baby!!!!!!

heard so many stories like this that it breaks my heart. my friend had a very complicated pregnancy and the child stayed at hospital for over a month when he was born, and has gone thru some surgeries since the birth. the child is now 8 months now and the father still hasn't seen the baby. they did not approve their expedite request and now they are stuck with checklist for same item which they got checklisted in may and were confirmed they have the checklist document. they are under supervisor review at the moment.

seeing all this, and going through my own rollercoaster of events, it seems like its breaking me from the inside. i have been at times labelled as way too strong and emotionless but this journey has done extremes to my personality.

i think you will be ok, i filed mine as married filing separately, and i had to mail them in as the spouse has no ssn. but if you have rest of the evidences you are ok.

if you are still employed, you can amend your W4 and use that as evidence, also if you have 401k or life insurance you can add your spouse as beneficiary and take that as additional evidence as well. its not required but you could if you are nervous about tax return.

I am total of 5 invoices now for IV fee. original one june 8, then another one on June 12 received june 14, yet another yesterday and two more today morning.... but unable to pay the fee so far! anyone else has received multiple invoices as many as 4-5!

Hi, my attorney is attempting to gouge me for more $$$$ and I'm thinking of dropping him , I am at the NVC stage now with the first checklist april 27th and second one june 12th . and before that RFE from uscis . 6 month of delay because of him . Takes him forever to send stuffs and answering calls , Emails etc etc ,,,,

A good friend send me to him , He hire him 10 years ago now he got to big AND fancy . I guess his too busy to give #$%%^ about small cases .

i still want to believe the june 12 emails are due to a bug, my cousin was asked for the same UK PCC which she sent on may 12, instead of CC she got checklist for same thing, is yours same of different item on checklist? you want to call and ask nvc if you dont know what the item is

Hello, my ds 261 was reviewed on june 5th I got my iv bill invoice via email on june 9th. Still not able to pay online. It shows 0.00 I was wondering if anyone else can't pay online? Called nvc the lady told me to wait 10 days. Should I send the money via mail or wait?

hardeep its a gamble, no one can predict which way itd be a win, but some of us have been mailing it in and some have been getting lucky getting it show as paid pretty quickly as well.

looks like a lot of duplicate checklists and invoices went out dated june 12, arriving in our inboxes on sunday. I got duplicate IV invoice, my friend received the same checklist she received early may also dated june12, while the rep today us last wednesday they had the checklist item and the friend would get cc anyday now.... whats next, hmm maybe we will get the winning lotto numbers?

when we get a CC what will I see on the status page? and the 3 NAs everyone talks about, where do we see that? I know i am far from it, but a friend who is couple months ahead is trying to check her status online. so am trying to help.
