    Hello Azuka,

so sorry to hear that, when did you file and what center was your application sent to?
I filled for my Mum but I’ve been scared they won’t let her come here since Nigeria was one of the countries banned.

    please advise.

Both applications for my parents were denied, as I have not provided sufficient documentation to proof relationship due to delayed registered birth certificate. 2 of the documents I uploaded for some reasons did not show up in my uploaded file section. I don't know how to move forward with this. I am asked to appeal the decision.
  3. Thanks

I'm so sorry...I'd definitely appeal if it's just a matter of them not getting documents that you do have readily available.

On the other hand, our case is supposedly out of processing time (last I checked) but since we're moving cross country next week, I kind of want to wait a little before raising an inquiry, in case they mistakenly send something to our current address. Idk...

Anyone else at the NVC stage? Please keep us updated. I finally submitted all the documents on CEAC today and yet another wait begins. Not sure how Trump's EO of halting green cards for parents is gonna affect the process. Good luck to everyone!

As you know USCIS has sent me request for evidence on May 7 on my account and asked me to respond. Since then I was not able to open up link of request for evidence. I tried live chat and spoke to tier 1 and tier 2 officer but all in vein. Finally I decided to send inquiry through inbox of my USCIS account so that I have a documented evidence of this issue. Today CSC has responded my inquiry.

    The following is their response.
“USCIS is currently experiencing difficulties with national case status. We are apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. There is no formal request for evidence has been issued or sent at this time. Your case is under review and CSC is committed to finish reviewing your case as soon as possible under our resources. We appreciated your continued patience.”

I recommend you to send an inquiry through inbox.

I responded online already but wondering how one can submit 2 passport photograph since it's same type and attachment, so I did it just once ... fingers crossed

I went with my wife, but he asked her to wait behind. I told him I have a pending i751.... he said he knows. He had already gone through it and asked questions like: that’s your wife? You both are still married? You still work at xxxx? Flipped through the pages. Stamped it and said it is approved. Then, we begin the N400 questions: who is the governor? Name 2 national holidays? What state is the Statue of Liberty situated? Who is the father of the US? What is your responsibility as a citizen of the US? Who is the chief judge of the state? I passed all 6 questions. The reading was: which state has the most people? And I had to write the answer (which he read to me) as the writing test: California is the state with the most people. I recieved a notification that my new PR card for I751 was mailed on 1/25. Waiting on the card and my oath letter. I hope this help.

Had my N-400 interview yesterday (in San Antonio) and it was successful. The whole process took about 25mins. Status changed the moment I left the USCIS building to: Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled. My I-751 status is still the same: Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction. Though, He stamped it and said he has approved it.

    I filed my N-400: May 14, 2018 (with a pending I-751 which was filed May 25, 2017)
Had my biometric: May 19, 2018 (I walked in before my scheduled date)
Had my interview January 22, 2019.

Just to fill you guys in....

Had my info pass on the 6/19/2018. I did request an info pass cause my ROC extension will expire on August 11 2018. I was opportuned to speak with the same man at the window as I did 2years ago, yeah... he remembered me.

He showed me the processing time for California filers (same processing time as online) and underneath the processing time he wrote “WOW”... I found that to be funny and we both laughed about it.

I told him I got a notification that my application was sent to my local office in February. He took all my NOA receipts numbers including the number on my finger print notice page to check in his system. He said your application is not here and that if they send it here it will only be for interview scheduling purpose. He said I should disregard the message as he doesn’t see my application been sent here and it shows it is still in California.

He placed the stamp on my passport for a year extension and he said you will get your approval before then.

Is impatient the word? Maybe... But I feel it is being busy with and about YOUR life. I have been in and out of the interview room, no decision made still. Called the 800 line multiple times and they tell me to wait; that everything looks good from their end. Well it's been 3 weeks or so post interview still no word, but the IO gave me some reasons that is likely to cause a delay in my case. Instead of an interview letter, I would have preferred another detailed RFE letter. It was in the interview I found out that the Divorce decree we sent to USCIS was unacceptable; well we got what the IO asked us to get but there's no RFE insight to reply to and I have an appointment next Tuesday in the same building cause of my EAD card, I just pray and hope that they will take these other documents from me to settle my case. Also I got a reply to my service request inquiry this morning from the USCIS office where I had my interview and it says my case is still pending and to expect a decision within 90days from now.
So, it is okay to be concerned and check every time your guts or feelings as you to; you surely have got nothing to lose when you ask questions. if you don't get any response from the Office concerning your case and you feel like its been a while; spread the word... knock on doors... get the phones ringing... be busy like the mail man you are expecting to see.
One more thing... Go through your forms and documents over and over again before you submit them.
I wish us all the best.

Checked the mail on Saturday morning and I got a mail from USCIS (My local service office: San Atonio) that my interview is on May 21st. I didn't receive no text messages and my case status didn't change on their website... It is still saying "We received your response to our request for evidence"
