June ROC California Service Center filer here WAC17265. I had my citizenship interview today and my ROC was approved  before I took the test. I came to the interview with my husband, but the officer said he doesn’t need him and that he should stay in the waiting room. There were no questions about our marriage being real or anything, just standard form questions. It was the same officer who interviewed me for my conditional green card 3 years ago and he was very nice and friendly.

I had my citizenship interview this morning and I passed! It was a combo interview for citizenship and my pending case of ROC. They were running about 30 minutes late, so we had to wait a while and then the officer took me in and said my husband doesn’t need to come with me even for the ROC part of the interview. It was the same officer who interviewed me 3 years ago for my conditional green card. He was super friendly and we talked about this and that a little. The interview took about 30 minutes total mainly because of the software being slow. I answered the questions off the form and gave 6 correct answers on the citizenship test, read and wrote a simple sentence and was approved on the spot.

Looks like you filed one day before me. My biometrics apartment is probably going to be after 17th of July! Our office is not too slammed usually, so hopefully things are going to happen in a timely manner!

Sweet! I belong to Spokane local USCIS office! Hope it really happens that fast!

Just for statistics: My friend who’s not on this forum filed ROC on March 9 2017 and then she got the status change on February 27 2018 about the Local Office and today she received approval letter dated March 7 2018. I believe she belongs to Vermont Service Center.

Mine still says Received on February 26th. 
 
I have a theory though 😄
When we were going through a K-1 process there was something similar on the consulate website. First it said case received on one date and later it changed to a later date and that was because first they received electronic case and later the actual paperwork came in the mail. 
 
So can anybody check if your first case update is still showing in the case history? When you check on uscis website you can normally see the whole history- all case updates.

I also checked my case and the case number from extension letter says my case was received at the local office(Spokane, WA) on 26th of February. Whereas the one from biometrics appointment  letter says no update(received June 22 2017). California Service Center.
 
Also I have a friend who filed in March 2017 and I asked her to check her case too and her extension letter case number showed her case was received in her local office today (February 27th). She lives in Maine, not sure what service center they belong to and where the lical office is.
 
 

It is very frustrating. On the bright side though completing biometrics sooner or later probably won't change thier general processing time. It doesn't take a year to do a background check, however it does take a year(or however long) for the immigration officer to look at cases with completed check. Trying to stay positive like that. 

So weird how there's a few of us that didn't get the biometrics letter. What the heck happened when they were sending them out. Anyways, keep us posted, hope they get your letter to tou soon.

Any day now. I know it sucks to wait, I checked the status very often and was counting time till AP. I don't know where that impatience comes from, but being so close to the finish line just makes us all obsessed I guess!

Got NOA-2 in the mailbox for EAD and AP on the 5th of September and now my case status for EAD changed into card mailed on the 8th of September. I will probably get it in a couple of days.
