Just wanna say.... Canada is starting to book! Got my interview date today! Early November... Not sure when I could hear her as it is raining and I am on my cell, but I'll get that email soon! Cc was sept 10. Sorry I haven't updated my timeline... I should probably do that. lol

Since some of people in Europe started to get their interview dates, I decided to call..

Well, still no interview yet!!

I hope it will be scheduled anytime soon... but I am getting a little tired of calling and being on hold for hours...and being disappointed so I will probably just wait until I get an email... at least for now.

Well I am a glutton for punishment, so I called again, excited that some people who didn't have dates yesterday had them this morning. Still nothing for me. CC 9/11.

I feel the same. We started in July last year and have not got the inteview scheduled yet. On the other hand, some people started later and moving much faster. I don't know how the whole process is working.

Anyway, I have called two days in a row but no interview scheduled.

So maybe I will just wait untill the next week unless somebody in Europe (especially France) starts to get the interview date.

I am from Europe (Romania) and yesterday I got my interview date. I dont really know exactly how it works, but try calling them after noon time.

Please don't be sad, you will get your interviews, Canada is just slow and it has nothing to do with the dates you will receive. Revel in the knowledge that you are so very, very close. I wish you both and every one here a smooth end to this nightmare. God Bless you.

I called around 5pm est yesterday, and the day before, so I don't know if I have it in me to face calling again this evening. I would so love good news before the weekend.

did medicial in Toronto yesterday was easier then i thought but apparently the us immigration has started a new paperwork system for them to use as of oct 1st and you now need to take 4 passport size photos with you. Just thought i would let everyone know before they get caught without enough.

Well that is annoying news. I already have my photos ready and waiting. Can you please clarify, you need 4x photos for the medical, plus 2x photos for the interview = total of 6x photos? If so, I am actually so annoyed. I read the requirements of needing 3x+2x and therefore got 5 photos printed recently and ready to go for everything.

You are also so lucky that your case has processed so fast! Well done. You started 3+ months after me, you sent your last docs to NVC in August, got case complete Sept 9, found out your interview date 3 days later (on Sept 11), and have your interview Oct 23! How did you manage this?! My last docs were sent mid-July, and I got my case complete the day after you, Sept 10, when they were still scheduling for Canada, but didn't get a date, and STILL 23 days later, no interview date yet. And, when I do get it it will be November some time at the earliest!

Congrats on the above! But, I can't help but feel a bit sad about my case. My family is absolutely dying to be reunited. NVC please oh please start scheduling for Canada again!

If you still don't have your interview date, I don't think I have my interview date either since you got a CC before I did.

So I should probably call them tomorrow (Friday) evening.

They must not go in order since people from September 23 from other embassies have gotten interviews. Maybe they haven't sceduled Montreal yet? We didn't get one today.

It looks like they are taking their sweet time with UK and Canada. Why oh why?! I reconfirmed, my case definitely completed Sept 10th.

I'm glad that I didn't call NVC yesterday because it turned out to be a rumor (again) that NVC had begun scheduling interviews yesterday!

I know. ####### is going on! Luckily I was actually only on hold for a new record low of 15 minutes. The same rumours have been circulating for over a week now!

I know we are all feeling defeated and all thinking we aren't going to bother phoning again until someone else posts good news...but if all of us give up then we really will all just be waiting for our own emails. I guess that's what the NVC wants us to do. My theory? They are no longer giving interview dates over the phone. I have absolutely no evidence to support this theory other than none of us have interview dates yet!!

22 days since case complete.

Was going to go to bed I have a migraine and I just had to check here. I spoke to Octavio and he said that he talked to Sylvia and she said she will call me then told him she had called me. I told Octavio, NO SHE DID NOT call me I've been home all day long, not even my brother has called. So she blatantly lied to Octavio and I told him I have an answering machine actually part of the phone system and he asked are you sure hahaha. So I told him listen Octavio I DO NOT WANT THIS WOMEN to have anything to do with our case I want you and only you to fix this. I asked him doesn't getting a false check list mean my AOS is fine and approved, I have received two since 8/10 and he seemed to be confused he said well I have to check the files I said doesn't Sylvia have them he didn't know what to say. I said so that means I have lost all hope of maybe getting an interview date because of all this and he said no I'm working very hard on this and I will call you tomorrow. OMG SOMEONE PLEASE SHOOT ME AND PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY! I'm going to lay down see if I can get rid of this migraine. Prayers being said Ellinora no worries there my friend. God be with you both.

Well, the good news...."yes m'am we have started scheduling"...ha. I will believe that when someone/anyone ever announces they have an interview.

The bad news: "no m'am you did not get an OCTOBER interview"... Thanks. NVC. You prove to be eternally helpful. What about the NOVEMBER interviews?! Not for me yet anyway.

I just checked shipments into Poland, for Sep 15-30, and to my surprise there has been 1 shipment per day every day except for 3 or 4 of the days (and the weekends).

So does that mean that they have been scheduling interviews for the last two weeks, or are they just slow sending out packages for people who were scheduled in the beginning of September? Or maybe there are expedites being shipped out daily?

I finally got the DHL tracking figured out. Try the example that I have listed below under 9/29. Then select your country. I have seen packages arrive in the UK but there is no way of knowing if it's my paperwork or not

Remember NVC sends out all kinds of packages. It's not a IR1/CR1 only DHL tracker. That's why the best way to track your stuff is to follow your case# on CEAC site.

If they have sent your package you can be sure you would have had an email telling you the interview date.

The tracking at best is a guess at "if its yours" . I have stated many times through the years I knew when my package sent exactly because I sent exactly 20 lbs of evidence with my IV package. 11 days later my package was sent to Lagos and it was 20 lbs. I called NVC and found out when they shipped I knew that was my package all the way up to the signing by Ben Obi. I don't know why they don't show weight any more but I notice it only appears when its heavy. LOL

Thanks again dwheels76 for clarifying that this check-up of sorts is just a best guess and a cool tool to try to see if and when the package that might be yours is sent...after an interview date is scheduled. A quick question for those of you out there and of course the lovely dwheels76: Has anyone done a DHL search recently to see if ANY cases have been shipped out from the NVC in the last week up until today? I tried for the first time just now, and it is giving me an error. I am hoping not just because there are none that have been sent, but just because I am doing it wrong. Would that give us any indication if ANYONE in the world has gotten an interview date scheduled recently, beyond the scope of the users of this thread?

Thanks for calling Austin! I am sorry to be negative guys, but I just cannot believe this #######. Every single step of the way... you get a CC and you are so happy, and then you think WOW, in just a week I should have an interview date, awesome!! And then of course it is all a lie, and as usual, just when it is your turn there is some sort of inexplicable delay out of nowhere. It does't even matter that I got a CC on Sept 11; I could've gotten a CC on September 30th and I'd be in the same freaking spot I am now. I didn't make one single mistake in this whole process, no RFEs at USCIS and no checklists at NVC so why am I still here? I am SO over all of this!!

PS, I would've put this in the rant thread, but since most people there don't have CCs yet, I figure it would be cruel to complain to them...

Agreed. And I think it was appropriate to post this here. Hopefully (how many times will I use the words hope and hopefully on these threads?!), hopefully there will be some news tomorrow. 21 days sine case complete.

I believe you don't need an interview letter, all you need is the case number written on the doctor forms, that was my case my wife got her medical examination done without an interview letter. She gave the doctor/assistant the case number and that was it.

I know they prioritize the people that have interview dates next day or so...

I spoke with the Rep today he said my interview has not been scheduled yet but my case was completed on the 9-16 and I was notified on 9-19, However, upon further review I ask him to please let me know when will you start to schedule interviews for November and Tad told me that they will start next week. I am very confused, and He also said he cannot guarantee an appointment for me in November, (I think he was just trying to save his back by saying he can't guarantee)

I have a question:

The medical appointment in Canada cannot be scheduled until I have an interview date (according to the receptionists at 2 different Dr's offices), but do they actually need the appointment letter to include in the sealed packet they provide? I hope to get an interview date over the phone and book the medical right away. I will probably have to wait a week to attend the medical anyway, so may have the letter in time, but I want to be prepare to argue with the receptionist to book my appointment straight away! Apologies if someone has asked this before, I've read the wiki and all of the posts in the Oct thread and I don't think I saw this anywhere.

Hopefully they start scheduling interviews soon. Besides us and Austin, is anyone else waiting on Montreal?

The rep told me at the phone that tomorrow they will start scheduling interviews for the following mont (November) so that means there are weak chances for today to hear something about an interview being scheduled.

I got nada...First lady at the NVC? Could barely understand her, why do the hire people that can barely speak english? Had to be put back in the queue her English was so poor.

Second person? His English was fine....no estimate, no dates, no idea when they schedule. All he said was that the Bogota Embassy has been notified and we are waiting on them to send the date for you interview.

A million questions and "I don't know. I don't know. I don't know."

I am trying to wait until at least mid-day tomorrow. I am just to disheartened by my 0 for 4 failure rate last week! I am spending every two minutes checking up on here though to see if someone else has good news that I might as well be spending that time on hold.

The kids thing is sad. My husband has only seen our kids once in the last 6 months. That is tough when one of them is only 6 months old , and the other is 2&1/2 and asks every day "where'd my daddy go?" They are both US citizens though, so they could travel back and forth, but we just don't have any way to facilitate that. This is in no way as tough as other stories I have heard with years of separation and waiting. The day-to-day isn't easy. Thank goodness for Skype, but I am ready to be together as a family again.
