Congratulations.  It's an amazing journey for all of us.  Supporting each other is part of the journey while new friends are made.

Our journey is finally done.  Guess in many respects, all of us in this discussion were pioneers pursuing new law that was never available for other couples before us.  Hopefully, people in our situation will be able to review this thread and sustain the courage needed to follow their life dreams.  Hope all of you are doing well in your lives.  Since there hasn't been much activity on this forum, I imagine everyone has completed their journeys. Best Wishes Always.

I noticed you entry into the US was almost 4 months after us.  I'm sure you will have the ROC very soon.  I'm not sure how we received the ROC faster than expected, but our process started in 2013 and it took forever to get the visa because of some complications.  Keep us informed.  We need to support each other.  Once completely done, its quite a relief to have the citizenship and US Passport in hand.

Received notice today, February 4, 2019, that our interview is scheduled; but haven't received the letter yet regarding the date.  Seems like there is movement happening for September 2018 filers.

We have put all of our updates  in, but if everyone did that, others could get a feel for where they stand in relation to this information.

We submitted our N-400 today to Phoenix lock box.  Hoping everyone has a smooth journey on this last step for each of us.

It seems like there isn't any kind of centralized leadership at USCIS, especially with a lack of training of new employees.  So many errors are reported here at VJ and we probably only represent 1% of the total applications being processed.  Think about the other 99% not on VJ having to deal with all of this.  Over the long term, most everyone is approved when the submitted information is legitimate.  It just takes more time for the inconveniences of getting extensions.  Good luck to everyone.

We received a recall notice in early May and returned the incorrect green card on May 22.  The only post change on the website status was that the green card was recalled, and that didn't appear until June 10.   We finally sent an email to USCIS to the address in our recall letter and received a response that they couldn't tell us anything about our case through email, and couldn't even answer our question of whether or not they received the green card.  But they gave two pages of what to do in case international travel is required.  Since our original ROC extension letter doesn't end until September 30, 2018, we're ok for a little bit longer.  But we hated to surrender the 10 year green card and know this would probably happen.  Meanwhile, we asked our attorney to check into this and she was at least able to get more information that they received our green card and that we should give them until July 5, 2018 before making another inquiry.  There was also another error on the green card in regard to the name reverting back to the pre-married name change; so that may also be causing a longer time to correct.

We just received written notice approval for Removal of Conditions, about 6 months after the expiration of our temporary green card.  In our July 17 group, we appear to be the first ones to receive the approval.  It almost seems like a mistake by USCIS since we never had an interview for AOS or ROC and we didn't expect this for another 6-9 months.  Someone here in a prior post mentioned that maybe this group broke new ground for others to follow.  It certainly took a lot of courage for all of us to face our first embassy interviews in countries that may not have been favorable to this new arena.  It doesn't mean that life is easy from this point forward, but at least the US Supreme Court allowed this change in our lifetimes.  We certainly appreciate the courage and advice from all of you.

Thank you.  Our journey started over 10 years ago.  Our K1 process took well over a year (about 18 months).  Perhaps that's why we were approved in 8 months on ROC.  We had a lot of evidence to submit.  All of you have our best hopes and wishes.  Nobody likes to wait.  But on the bright side, just about everyone gets approved.

To tell you the truth, our online status still states that our case has moved to another office.  We received approval letter on March 5 and Resident Card yesterday in the mail.  The uscis.gov website is definitely not giving updated information.  Set up an account at the other site: myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov .  That site has tracked us well, although it has posted misinformation also saying that we were denied on an appeal (we were never denied and never appealed anything) and also said it corrected birth dates and name changes; all of it not true.  So, just be careful of what is seen online.  And remember, if you are truly a married couple, you will be approve.  It's difficult to deny an i-751 case without evidence to the contrary.  Everyone will be approved.

We received the same email yesterday regarding our case was still under review, and yet, we were approved on March 1, 2018 and received our approval letter on March 5.  The site www.uscis.gov just doesn't keep up with current information.  It still shows our case under review after being transferred to a local office.   The site at myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov seems to be the accurate site to use.  It had our approval on March 5.  And, today, it showed that our green card was in production.  So, any of you could be surprised with a letter in the mail regarding being approved well before being notified on the web.  Good luck to all of you.

We got the approval in the mail on March 5, and the website said we had been moved to a local office on March 4.  The approval letter said we were actually approved on March 1.  So it appears it was a done deal before the online message changed to "moved to a local office".  A side note, when we received the letter, the name reverted back to the original name before marriage.  Our attorneys filed a request to put the name back to what was on the original green card and application for lifting conditions.  We received a letter in the mail today that the correction was made and that a green card would be mailed in 120 days.  The www.uscis.gov website still shows our I-751 was moved to a local office.  The myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov site shows that the green card in in production.  By the way, the letter arriving today was from the Pittsburgh office, which is our local office.  So, these two websites must have different purposes and are filled with misleading information.  Let's hope someone in their Tech Department is sorting everything out.

Yes, we can confirm this (I-751) July 2017 filer.  Our attorney confirmed this with her own contact with USCIS, but she was surprised as well.  Oddly, our USCIS.gov status still says our files were transferred to our local office on March 4, and yet the approval date on the written paper says it was approved February 28, 2018.  But, the other site at my account.uscis.dhs.gov shows it approved.  No word on green card production, but we'll keep updating our timeline every step of the way.  Ever since Monday when we received the approval in the mail, we were hoping many of you would also receive approval as well.  Although we are happy, we want everyone here to have the same happiness so we will continue to follow all of your timelines.

We used our state Senator twice (Senator Casey), once during our i-212 process, and once for AOS.  Your Senator's office is permitted to call and ask for the status of your case, but not permitted, by law, to intercede; which they tell you, but I do not believe.  Both times, after we got a report from our Senator's office, we soon received approvals.  Since you have two Senators for each state, I'd suggest you choose wisely which one you make the request.  By the way, we were just getting ready to make contact again to the same Senator for the Removal of Conditions since it had been about 7 months, and then we received a written approval.  Some people speculate that perhaps that helped us on this process because of past requests.
