we are almost done, after combo approval got letter today with Oath Ceremony date

Had the Combo last week and approved for both, got letter today about ROC being approved, online still says case was received at local office, we are now hoping to get letter of scheduled Oath Ceremony

Hello all we had our combo interview last Nov 20th we were approved for both and were told the next ceremony would be Dec 19th has anyone gotten a letter for that date yet

Had not filed for n400, the last status update before the approval was the vague "case received at local office" in February.

Biometrics had been waved previously and interview was not requested either.

ROC Questions:

Asked if we wanted to give more info, we gave pic from my nieces wedding last December 2017 and my Nephews wedding this month, asked my wife who a few of the people were and moved on

Why did we get married, I was waiting for how we met and had to refocus my brain to answer,  I said so we can be together forever, lame I know but he smiled and said great

Asked me was a signature mine, my wife had signed in the petitioner spot, but he said it was ok

Ask the date we got married, my wife answered

Asked about our house if we bought it together (he was looking at a copy our deed of trust

Asked my wife the address

Asked if we both had keys to the house which I had just recently gave to my daughter, but told him we had matching mailbox keys and matching keys to back gate, when we gave the keys he could see the we both had Toyotas said that was cool and handed them back

Asked my wife the monthly mortgage payment amount, she gave a rounded figure but he didn't say anything

He said I believe you have a real marriage but need to ask a few questions and said it was my wife's turn alone

 

N-400 Questions:

Ask her to read a sentence and write a sentence and then ask 6 questions she got them all correct

He told her she had passed and recommended for approval the final would come with the Oath

He then ask the required Yes or No questions had her sign a couple times on a electronic pad at his desk and said congrats

His last question was would she petition someone to come to the states, she said her mom, he said that's great, she said she loves her mom he said he really loves his mom to and that's what he would do, 

and the whole I'm thinking and your DAD, 

 

I know this is long and I hope I coved everything

My wife is also a CSC  WAC17277 and have not had any info accept for maybe the bogus transfer, my wife has her N-400 interview next week in San Diego, we hope it will be a combo

I'm sharing my timeline here for anyone who is interested. I had my interview yesterday and our case is approved. I checked my case status online and it says my card is being produced. 

 

05/05/2018: Received a mail from USCIS indicating that they are able to reuse previous fingerprints and other biometrics.

07/23/2018: Got the temporary I-551 stamp on my passport at the San Fernando Valley field office. The officer confiscated the plastic green card as a matter of policy. The stamp is valid until July 22, 2019.

8/11/2018: Received 18 month extension letter supposedly valid until March 8, 2019.

9/11/2018: Received I-751 interview schedule notification in the mail.

10/22/2018: Interview at the San Fernando Valley office. The experience was great and we couldn't ask for a better Immigration Officer. Officer Tarloyan is nice, professional, and she made us feel at ease. She escorted us to her office and once we settled in, she took my photo and fingerprints, and made us raise our right hands and swear to tell only the truth, which we did. She then asked for our driver's license and old and new passports. She then explained that when she reviewed our case, she did not find any red flags. Basically, they are conducting I-751 interviews to applicants who arrived the US with K-1 fiancee visa as part of the changes implemented by Trump administration. Her questions were:

Where and when did you meet?
Who attended your wedding?
Was there a proposal?
How did my spouse become a US citizen?
What does he do for a living?
Do you go on holidays together?

She also asked if I brought additional evidence which I did. She said that what I had submitted in my original application are sufficient but she will take the new documents. She browsed through it and asked questions on the out of the country holiday trip we took early this year.

After the interview, she said everything looks great. She will approve our case and then told me to wait for about 8 months to hear about my N400 which I filed in June 2018.

I checked my case status online and it says my card is being produced.
