The Jorney that seems like it will never end has finally ended in praise. I am officially a United States Citizen.
My appointment was 8:15am they didn't let us in until 8am. Did d routine check in stuff got my number and waited for the officer to call me in.
The wait was shirt but looks like forever when u are waiting. The officer is an older man. Asked me abt my marital status, told him I divorced this January and he asked me Y? Told him. Changed my name and then we went to d NoNoNo questions.
He asked me dis siz question
Who is the president of America now
If the president and vice president can no longer serve who becomes president
If the president can no longer serve who becomes president
What is Abraham Lincoln famous for
What is the name of the speaker of the house now.
What ocean is on the east coast.
    Then he had me read
What year do we celebrate independence day and write the answer.
He then asked me the yes yes yes questions.
That was it, I got approved. And did my oat at 10:30am.
PS: make sure your details are correct b4 u leave d building. I had to wait for another 20min for them to fix my name on my naturalization certificate. Am on my way to USPS to apply for my passport.
Good Luck guys and congratulations to us all.

USPS just notified me that there was a mail coming from USCIS.
I logged in to USCIS website and it showed that the interview schedule mail was being sent out.
I don't have the mail yet so I don't know when my interview date is. I'll post an update later when I get my mail.

An update on our process. My wife had her combo I-751 (pending since 9/20/19) & N-400 (pending since 9/20/20) interview yesterday in Detroit. She had a great experience overall and both applications were approved in less than 30 minutes total. She said the USCIS officer was super nice and that everything was super easy. She made some small talk with the officer about the weather and the city where we live (which happened to be where the officer had attended college). At the end of the interview, my wife received a paper saying she passed and that she will now be placed in line for an oath ceremony. She is changing her name with her naturalization so we don't know if this affected (or will affect) the amount of time she has to wait for her ceremony.

Her questions at the N-400 interview related to the civics test were:

    (1) What is the supreme law of the land?
    (2) Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived?
    (3) Who is the Speaker of the House of Representatives?
    (4) What is the capital of your state?
    (5) Name one war fought by the US in the 1800s?

She also had to read and write a sentence, but she didn't remember exactly what they were. All she remembered is that they were both pretty easy (one note is that she was an English teacher in China so her English skills are pretty good).

Also a quick work on the time estimates in USCIS account. When we first applied, my wife had an estimated time to approval of April 2021 (which ended up being exactly what happened), but during the time we waited to hear when her interview would be, her estimate changed many times. At one time or another, it was listed as July 2021, November 2021, August 2021 and September 2021, so I would encourage people to not put too much faith in these estimates.

Good luck everyone with your interviews and processes, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for you!

My interview schedules for March 18th was cancelled. On March 1st, I received a notification that they cancelled my interview and rescheduled it for April 12th.
Yesterday, I had my interview and got approved!

This is how my day went..

I arrived 15min before my interview, which was at 9:15am. Officers don't let you go inside the building until it is 15min before your scheduled time.
Pass the metal detectors control and went to a window where an agent checked me in. The agent took my temperature, picture and 2 finger prints. My biometrics were reused, so I'm guessing they only needed 2 fingers???

I sat down and waiting about 20-25min. About 5-10 minutes after my interview time, an agent opened the door and called my name.
The interviewer told me to stay standing to take me under oath.
We sat down and asked me for drivers license, green card and passports (current and expired). She then asked me for how long I have been living in the US, how I met my husband and about my past US visas. Then she started with questions from the form. My name, DOB, if I want to change my name, and my address. After, she started asking some of the NO questions (if I have ever been part of the communism party, killed someone, being in prison, etc) and some of the YES questions. She ended by asking me if I had understood all the question she asked me.

    Next was the civil questions:
What are the two parts of the U.S Congress? Name one war fought by the U.S in the 1900s? The idea of self-government is in the first three words of the constitution. We elect a U.S senator for how many years? How many U.S senators are there? In what month do we vote for president? Next the speaking and writing test. The screen showed "How many states does the United States have? for me to read. I had to write "We have fifty states".

At that point, she asked me to sign the forms on the screen.

I thought we were done, but she started asking me questions about
where do I work, what do I do and for how long are my parents US citizens and more informal question. She asked me how my parents are doing in Spain. I answered how things are going (covid related) in Spain. if we rent or own our house what my husband do for a living After that she spend a minute or two reviewing things in the computer to then say "Congratulation, I'll be recommending you for approval". Printed a paper and checked that I was approved and I'll get in the mail a letter for the Oath. She said: "My guess is that the oath will be sometime May or June". I collected my stuff ( I brought way too many evidences that she didn't even asked) and left.

I was out of the USCIS office by 9:42. The interview was a little less than 20min. Quick and painless. The interviewer was a very nice lady.

Today (4/13) I got a notification in my USCIS account that I should received the oath letter in less than 30days.

I´m sorry for the looooong post, but I wanted to share as much detail as possible for anyone that could find this useful.
I was SUPER nervous, but everything end up being very fast and easy.

    Good luck everyone!!

Congratulations! Finally you are done!!! It definitely gives me hope because I applied September 27th and only heard back about biometrics reuse, no interview notice so far.
Estimated case completion was July 2021 and now got moved to November. If it's done in November I'll take it as a Christmas gift!

    Filed N400 on September 29, 2020.
Biometrics reused notice issued February 11, 2021, received in mail on February 23.
Interview scheduled notice online on March 4.
Wife had her interview this morning at sometime after 930. She had to wait a little, was finished by 10. Had her ceremony at 1015. Ceremony was done in hallway with 1 other person.
Had To read "Who elects the Congress?" and write: "The people elect Congress"
    Her questions were:
    1. What does the Constitution do?
    2. What is the highest court in the United States?
    3. Who is in charge of the executive branch?
    4. What stops one branch of government from becoming too powerful?
    5. Who is the Governor of your state now?
    Forgot last one.

Interviewer was very nice. Pleasant experience. About 1 hour spent on whole process, including arriving 15 min early.

I hope @DreamCatcher77 doesn't mind but I sorted the spreadsheet by filing date to make it a little easier to read.  Those without a filing date are then sorted alphabetically.

Just wanted to give an update. I had my interview on March 12, 2021. My case couldn't be approved because my I-751 was still pending and the USCIS officer told me he wasn't aware of it until we were having the interview so he needed time to go over it.
Happy to report yesterday they finally approved both my i-751and my n-400 and they scheduled me for the oath ceremony next week!
Good luck everyone! Hang in there!

Estimated Completion date still says December 2021.

An update on our case!  My husband's MyUSCIS account has an interview letter dated 3/31.  The interview is for 5/5 in Lawrence, MA even though our local office in Hartford, CT.  That's about 2.5 hours away from us and our appointment is for 10 AM, so I'm thinking we'll have to go up the night before to make sure we get there on time.

Very exciting to see this progress even if it's a further drive than we were expecting!

Just a update for everyone, checking the status on the USCIS website. It says 2 months for the estimated completion time, it got significantly shorter it was 4 months before.

Hopefully this means some movement! Although I don't know how much to trust that

I had my interview Yesterday and everything went well. So all done with immigration and here is my experience if it helps anyone.

My field office is Charlotte, NC. We were allowed in 15 mins prior to interview time, after checking the interview letter and state ID.
Right after security check, an officer took me to his desk. Surprised about zero wait. He scanned the interview letter and green card.
Very friendly, some chit chat, then asked 6 questions [ just one answer was good ], had me write and read a simple sentence [ California has most people ].

While I thought this is the interview, he guided me to another desk where the actual interview is. This is skype and first officer left after saying the interviewer will turn on his cam after reviewing my file. Then started the awkward 5-10 min wait time as my camera is ON, while waiting for the interviewer to turn ON his.
It turned out to be a very quick round with set of questions - my name, dob, when I got my GC, what I do, who is my employer, whether I have kids, followed by mostly yes or no like have i been arrested type of stuff. Again he was friendly just no chit chat. End of questionnaire, he said he is approving the file.

As I stood up I was directed to the first officer's desk and he did my final round. Asked the status whether it's approved, then had me review my information and sign.

All done with interview, asked to join other people who are waiting to take their oath. I got on  my phone, waited for may be 15 mins for few others to complete their interview.
They called one by one, issued certificate, a package (had passport application form),US flag, took my green card and said congratulations. Final step, an officer had us all repeat the oath after him and gave a nice little speech.

I was in at 9:45, out by 11:15 AM.

Docs they actually asked me - Interview letter, State ID, Green Card
Docs I brought with me - Interview letter, State ID, Green Card, Marriage Cert, Wifeys birth cert, All our passports including expired one's, originals related to my traffic incident (fine was $2000+), certified driving history, and proofs related to our relationship ( shared credit and medical cards, car title, home, auto insurance, last 3 year tax transcripts, joint bank sttmnt, home deed and life insurance.)

PS I requested a name change ( make second half of my first name as middle name - tired of spelling 16 chars every time) but that would mean, not getting the naturalization certificate the same day and wait months for court date to be scheduled. So said no thank you and my ice breaker remains.

Good luck to everyone here and wish the same easy, friendly experience to you all.
