SuzieQTpi got a reaction from HNZ91 in N-400 processing time
I filed N-400 online on June 25, 2020 and when I first filed, the USCIS site said estimated completion December 2020.  In December 2020, the estimated completion said January 2021.  In January, the completion date said March 2021 and in March, the completion date said April 2021.  Now, in April there is no estimated completion date on my case at all.   When I checked a couple of weeks ago it said to watch for biometrics appointment, but now even that message is gone.  I know Covid has made them behind in processing, but it concerns me that cases filed after mine have already been processed and approved.   My field office is Louisville...I think.  First they told me Cincinnati then they told me Louisville.

Just a quick peek to see how everyone is doing in the long and frustrating journey!
I am elated to share that after 25 months to get my IR-1 immigration visa, and a few months of ups and downs with job and health, I have a sale pending on my condo, health is good and I have booked my flight to be with my husband. Flying out on Sept 29/15 to be with him permanently! Best birthday present I could give myself!!!
I wish you all happiness and joy, and the patience to get though this roller coaster they call immigration!

Haven't popped in for a bit, but thought I'd just check in!
For those of you who are waiting for approval, and it seems like the journey will never end, have faith.....it will...eventually
It took us 25 months from submitting the first paperwork to having immigration visa in hand!
I still have some loose ends to tie up here, but plan to move and be with my husband by the end of September at the latest! My last day of work is this Monday, so that will give me a few weeks to sell my stuff and rent out my condo (tried selling, but the market is soft).
Hope to have an exact travel date in the next couple of weeks.!!!
Wishing you all a speedy journey so you can be with your loved ones permanently!

    YIPPPPEEEEE (I think)
    Status this morning says ISSUED!!!
But if they aren't printing visas, what does this mean?
Also, the fine print is confusing...
Issued Immigrant Visa Case Number: Case Creation Date: 17-Apr-2014 Status Updated Date: 25-Jun-2015 Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.

Please note: Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. Also, some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.

This was posted on the link on the US Consulate in Montreal this morning (although it is dated tomorrow)
    Resumption of Visa Services
    26 June 2015

Visa Update: Visa processing has resumed at the U.S. Embassy and consulates in Canada. Interview appointments are now available. Some posts in Canada have openings as soon as June 26. To schedule an appointment, visit https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/niv.

For those travelers whose interviews were cancelled during the systems outage: check your email for a message with instructions to reschedule your interview, or visit https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/niv.

If you are waiting to receive your approved visa: we are currently working to eliminate the backlog of visas awaiting printing, and anticipate that we will be able to print the majority of visas by early next week. You will receive an email when your visa is ready to be picked up at the Loomis location you selected when you applied.

We deeply regret the inconvenience these technical problems have caused for travelers waiting for visas and are working hard to return to normal processing. Updates will continue to be posted here, and on the State Department website travel.state.gov.

They will ask for the 2014 tax information if you haven't already supplied it, so be prepared.
If your spouse was married before, be sure to bring the divorce documents (I didn't as my letter from NVC had it coded "F" and am now in AP)
I had proof of address, but they didn't ask for it. I had proof of relationship and they didn't ask for it.
My advice is to bring everything.....because if they ask for it and you don't have it, you will be in AP purgatory like me!

The passport I used when we filed expired before my interview and I renewed it. I simply took the old one as well as copies of the new and old one and all they asked for was the original of my new one.

    My turn to rant...AGAIN!!!

    GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
    Another delay.....in AP
Seems that because the government departments associated with this process have been less than speedy at processing our file....my PIC (Police Information Check) has expired (they are only good for a year). You think they would have noticed that it would expire before they could complete the work when I gave it to them at the interview and let me know then....
SOoooooooooooo after a 2 hour wait to request said report, I can expect a new PIC in about a week....
Lord only knows how long it will take them to issue my Visa after that
