Well I don't want to go in to the details about the interview but it was not very good and we were a little nervous about it. We submitted all the required documents didn't get any RFE or biometrics. It was a  little surprising getting an interview before the biometrics. We hired him because we didn't want to take any chance since we hired the same lawyer for K1 visa. Our filling location was CSC but it was transferred to Vermont in the beginning of January right after our interview.

Updating on my case status. So I had my interview in Orlando on December 19th, 2017 that went okay. Husband and I were not very happy about it so we hired a lawyer that we had for the K1 visa who also happened to attend our wedding anyway in 2 weeks I received the letter from CSC that my case is transferred to Vermont and today I received my biometric letter for February 1st. It all went in a different way for us but looks like its going to be okay. Fingers crossed

My interview is on the 18th of this month and I picked my appointment personally from shaheed complex karachi and I guess I'll have to pick my passport after visa issuance from the same place.

I really want to thank you guys though for the support thats here for me and Amna. Okay its true I am a bit hot headed lol, but there are some valid points here about being absolutely clear and filling any holes when explaining our story during the interview and this thread did give me some insight on how to tackle the questions. Thanks so much guys!!!!!

Great way to put it! Thanks for explaining it so thoroughly/calmly. I was just searching for the words without trying to be too emotional (hotheaded) about it lol.

And yes all I can do is wait for either RFE or NOA2 or just a strait up refusal.

    Petitioner here responding now.....

There have been a lot of rude comments here regarding the intent of the visa, intent of the petitioner and reasons why I cannot travel. I have been on dialysis since 2008 and before that my transplant that never started completely and had many many many complications with it and it only lasted 4 years. I was never able to travel without getting sick somehow and having a rejection episode of my kidney. As for the fact that Amna (The OP) can travel and meet me, that is half true. Yes she's perfectly healthy and able to travel, but being in medical school, there was never a break long enough for her to travel, and during the time of her medical school, there was a lot of terrorism within her country, and many travel advisories against Americans traveling to Pakistan. On top of that the terrorism in her country gave partial 'gaps' in her schooling, which meant any break she did have, was shortened to make up for her schools closure.
As for the life we plan to have with my devastating debilitating condition.... I work, I go to school and have a perfectly capable life, 99.99% of people would never know that I have a condition in the first place. I have dealt with the issue since childbirth and the whole reason i had to leave Pakistan (my birth place) was because of my condition. I do not have a nurse with me, nor do I need a nurse/doctor/caretaker. I have been taking care of it since 1989 without ever having any form of additional caretakers, besides my mother, just like your mom, who probably took care of you too as any mother would.
As for the intent of the OP, Amna, on whether or not she is here just to work as a doctor. We were engaged long before she was even in the medical profession and wasn't even on a career path when our engagement was set. I love her and will take care of her whether or not she's works as a doctor in the US, and besides if she wanted to come work in the US as a doctor, they have a specific visa for that as well which she would qualify in a heartbeat for unlike you guys.
Being cousins is not an issue, we have never met as if we were strangers. Genetically it doesn't matter, the condition I have is idiopathic (look it up because Amna doesnt have to). When you study genetics like my fiancé, and know what will happen to us in the future regarding the fate of our children i will gladly apologize, till then it is unfair to assume that we did not think of these issues before hand.
In our petition, we submitted the WAIVER as required if we did not meet due to hardship of the beneficiary. Just for good measure, we hired a respected lawyer to oversee and file our case who will see it to the end. And if the unfortunate event that it is denied, I will gladly reapply for whatever visa is necessary to marry my future beautiful intelligent wife who deserves a bit more respect then I have seen here already.

We are 2 people who are trying to marry and live our life together. She has completed her education and is completely free from obligations and is able to fully come to America to marry me, whereas if she had applied before, she wouldn't be able to attend the rest of her school due to the 2 year requirement to stay in the US after being married and applying for Change of status. And visiting was not an option for either of us as explained above.

Sorry for sounding so harsh in my first response here, but I didn't really appreciate seeing my fiancé attacked when she was just looking for answers. Thank you.

I agree that since they already filed, it is just a matter of waiting to find out what happens. Also, I can see how their situation might be confusing.
I want to try to explain what living with a chronic condition means. It is like a fragile balancing act. Any little thing can tip the balance and create a major devastation. You can, for example, get an infection in the area where the tubes go into your body. This infection could go right to your organs and you would suddenly need to be hospitalized. It might be that you catch something, like pneumonia, and very quickly your situation becomes dire. If you are traveling, perhaps you will suddenly require emergency services which can be very costly and dramatic. My dad once had to be air lifted from Mackinaw Island by helicopter.
This doesn't mean that these people don't try to live a normal life, and that my Dad didn't work, they didn't travel, etc. Coping must take place.
However, since you don't know what could happen, and the risks are so much greater than a healthy person, you want to maintain as much stability in your life as possible. You also tend to put on a brave face, because other people, quite frankly, can't handle your situation as you must handle it. You also may feel isolated because others don't understand the fragility of your life. Thus, it might be incomprehensible to the outsider how you could both function on a daily basis and appear normal, because no one wants pity, while at the same time be dealing with numerous issues and a complicated regimen outside the observer's awareness.
The point is that things aren't always as they appear and for the OP to be able to explain fully their situation in some postings in an online forum to a bunch of strangers in a way that is acceptable to all readers is a bit presumptuous. Reminds me of my high schools students who think that I am available all the time to grade their work the minute they submit it. How impudent they become when I don't satisfy their immediate desires.
Perhaps the consulate will take on this attitude with them, or perhaps based on the evidence they have submitted, they will have a bit more of an enlightened view. Who knows, but considering the challenges this person has faced in his life, I would say that he has a lot more experience dealing with obstructions than a lot of people and will deal with things accordingly. He doesn't need to be lectured to.

And thanks you so much dwheels76 for posting that, I really hope people take the time to read and comprehend every post to understand that we are going through the proper channels to figure this out, and we are working with a lawyer! I got the waiver written up with the lawyer and doctors, on top of that my fiance is also a doctor so she herself understands why and can explain during the interview why we had never visited.

Honestly I say keep hope alive. If you search VJ there are two people who submitted waivers of not meeting and were approved. One I believe just last year. Seems to me your situation is the kind of thing the waiver was designed for. Why else have a way to have a waiver if no one qualifies. Just be positive and also think of a backup plan just on case.
    All the best to you.

Based on the family connection, and the fact that the petitioner had to leave Pakistan shortly after birth due to the same medical condition that is now preventing them from meeting, I think they might be successful if their case is presented well, and if the CO gives her the opportunity to fully explain. It may not be a cake walk, but I don't think it's hopeless.
The folks at the embassy in Pakistan will be familiar with cases of arranged cousin marriages. I've seen a lot of weaker cases (meeting on the Internet, chatting for a few months, no interaction between families, one 1-week visit together, followed immediately by a petition, etc) approved at tougher consulates on this site.
