Most anticipated Christmas Eve ever. Cant wait for our interview December 24th!!!!

Called and got date of Dec. 24th for the interview. I will be trying for an earlier one for sure. None the less, totally stoked at whichever date it takes place.

Our IV was scanned in 37 days ago and received case complete today. No checklists. There are a couple that I have seen done sooner with no checklists also. I am thinking that within a couple of weeks a lot of this will be cleared up. It seems with the fee change and process change things are getting done somehow. I doubt anyone as a clear answer.
I have to thank everyone on here. I can't tell you how much I studied this website. From the processing times to the wiki guides to certain very informative posts at just the right time I am sure I would not have had an easy go of it without everyones input. Though we are all here helping one another, in the end each case is unique and will get processed in it's own time.
To all that arrived at NVC before us we owe a great deal of gratitude. Those that are still struggling here it is not lost on me how this system has failed. At least the people have a place to come and vent or discuss tactics on how to get through somewhat sane on the other side. I wish the best of luck to all of you.

NVC has confirmed Case Complete.

So today is our 61st day for our AOS scan. I called this morning knowing that they have already told me that they review documents together according to last document scanned. They only confirmed this. I argued my case with the rep. and when she couldn't do anything I asked for a supervisor. None was available. She put a request to have one call me.
I say all of this because I just now noticed that we have 3 N/A's on the CEAC website. I don't know if my earlier conversation has anything to do with this and I certainly hope it means what I think it does. IV scan date was 9/10.

Case complete today. Now waiting for interview. From one line to the next.

And that's the most selfish and stupid thing ever. Ppl have been complaining for months that how slow nvc has gotten and if they had taken a step to improve system people started complaining. I'm one of the few unfortunate ones who have been stuck in this process since June 2013 and it makes my blood boil to see people who started April May of this year and are whining and complaining. Well they should be happy then nvc listened to them and went back to their snail pace.

I don't have a lawyer myself but I wouldn't even worry about them. As far as I understand they work for you. If they are going to find out if you logged on then they should be able to do a lot more for you than it sounds like they are currently doing. Its your case. Just my two cents.

If I were you I would send in IV packet now! About the fee I guess talk to a supervisor. That is entirely too long.

You sent in IV package on Aug. 23rd. When did NVC say that they received the package? Just trying to find out your scan date. Thanks.

I am going to start writing a review day from everything to date and then once I get the P4 letter, case arrive at embassy I will update it again and then after the interview of course update then too. It is due to consulates. It states which ones are available to do EP on NVC website.

If you are the beneficiary then you need to send either the original or a certified copy of the original.

IV fee is related to when you sent in the DS261. I think lately it has really varied on when IV fee is available to pay after submitting the DS261. Mine was about 1 month.

I recieved this and then a couple of days later it changed to say that it had been shipped to Department of State.

There were people talking about police certificates from India earlier in this months thread. Look for India flags on pages early on here.

They are going to check out her previous visas anyway, and see that she did fraud to get it.

I have come to the conclusion that the person you are referring to has bigger problems than just being re-united with her spouse. Her timeline claims that her AOS fee was payed almost two months before NVC even received her case. She also claims that NVC actually called her. Wouldn't that be great.

I am curious how you paid the AOS fee before your case was received at NVC?
