Thanks to everyone who helped me and was with me in this process !

Can someone tell me what happens next I have no idea && any tips on how to speed up the process

    Congrats!!!!

I told you......hahaha. So happy with that, I wish Shama get approval after the interview too

  2. I'm confused!!!! I checked my case status today and saw this .... But I didn't even change my name? What is this :( I'm confused && scared :(

    Initial Review

On April 18, 2014, your name was updated relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

Look at my timeline Sam, I got the same message as your and I never change my name. My approval came on next day, your maybe next Monday because today is the last day of the week. If you don't have approval today, believe me, next week is your

  3. I got this reply today

The status of this service request is:

On 03/10//2014, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I130 to notify us that you believe your case is outside of normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

We have found that your case meets the requirements for expedited processing.

You should receive a decision or notice of further action on your I130 within 45 days of the date of this letter.

I wonder if I will acts receive a decision in 45 days.

Your approval just around a conner, I bet it won't more than 10 days.

  4. hey ,

my wife called the uscis and they told her they gonna schedule her for an interview next month ,

so please tell me what they gonna ask her , ???? and what kind of question ? and how long gonna take from the interview to get the approval for I130 ???

It depends on each case so who knows what are they asking for. I knew some cases got approved on the same day if petitioner explained clear enough what they want to know.

    Good luck!

  5. can we just do CRBA here in JP and the passport later when we go back to the US?

my husband won't fly or can't fly anywhere because he will have panic attack...

we were talking to get his tax forms from irs and school records...

i have his vital records here so that should cover right?

Sure, you can do CRBA in JP. Does your husband file I-130 petition for you?
  6. And total income = your income + your Dad's income. Household size = You (1) + your husband (1)+ your parents(2) + any dependent if applicable. If your Dad dont have any dependent, so your household size = 4. If your income+ his income meet requirement of poverty guideline, your Mom doesnt need to file I-864A.

Remember, if you and your parents living in the same house. Your Dad needs to file I-864A instead of I-864

  7. is it compalsory to write case number on the top??? i send my documents to nvc bt didnt write any case number bt we added barcode cover sheet n it contain case number too

so is ths enough or nt should we get any check list for ths????

You won't have the checklist for that, write your case number on each page just in case it missing some where and NVC easy to know "this page for case number xxxxx" and put it back to your case :)

  8. No who's email is that? Can u kind of give me an example template as to what to say in the email and how to say it? I emailed Rendell Jones. He said he would follow up but nothing sadly :(

SCOPSSCATA is the service higher than others Service Center. I emailed them twice, never got response from them. Instead, they forwarded the emails to Service Center where processing your case (NSC for me) with the note : "For resolution and respone, thanks". NSC responsed to me with the resolution is the same as I emailed to NSC. As you can see below.

  9. Thank you very much!!! I was confused where to post it :)

You should be apply her CRBA at US Consulate in your country, for the US Passport, they need both parents to sign on application because your daughter is under 16 years old of age. Fillout all required forms, collect as much as evidence you can. Your husband needs an evidence to prove he is the US Citizen, if he was born in US, his birth certificate is enough.

As you said, your daughter was born when you not marry yet. It doesn't matter, the kid who was born out of wedlock still apply for CRBA

  10. Your screenshot is all dates are greyout, it means no date available for that month. So pick another month from drop down menu until you see the yellow date and click on it to make appointment. My experience, just keep track on it everyday. For example, the date in May not available today, but maybe tomorrow you will see some yellows because some people has been cancelled their appoitment. That way I am so lucky to got appointment just 16 days :)

  11. For my son's CRBA, Passport and SSN, I did these step

    1/ Fillout all required forms

2/ Present some evidence to prove that I'm living with my wife at the time she got pregnant

3/ Show to Consulate Officer all of hopital records during pregnancy

4/ Evidence to prove that I am the US Citizen

    5/ Some pictures ( but C.O didn't want to see :)

The interview took less than 10 minutes and approved. We have his passport and CRBA in 14 calendar days. SSN had arrived at home in USA after 2,5 months

    In your situation

    - Is you husband lived abroad 5 years before your baby born?

    - Why your husband doesn't has a passport?

    - Is he the US Citizen when your baby born?

The day we went to the interview, I saw some people just took their kid without the US Citizen spouse but they still got approved. So, your husband dont need to be present at the interview. But you need very strong evidence to prove that he is the father of that kid

  12. thanks. but what i meant is that he dont have enough income to file the affidavit of support so he will have his grandfather as the co sponsor. and he is actually thinking of getting an immigration lawyer which i dont agree with.

You dont need to worry about income right now. The Affidavit Of Support will be process in the next step at NVC. You CANNOT file I-130 and I-864 together at USCIS. For saving time, do I-130 ASAP, while you waiting for I-130 approval, you have alot of time (5-6-9 months) to research about AOS

  13. Hey guys - Got a quick question on documents being submitted to NVC. Now that we are completing these documents online, are there any documents that will require my wife, who lives overseas to sign (ie DS-260, DS-3032)?

    Thanks!

DS-261(3032 is the old style): You can fillout and submit, dont need to sign

DS-260 : You can help your spouse fillout, that is e-sign so you can hit "Sign and Submit" when done. Or let your spouse log in to NVC acct to hit that button

  14. Just called NVC few minutes ago, on hold 35 minutes to get 30 seconds of conversation :). They tell me that my case has been received on April 11 and not into the system yet, wait for 30 calendar days for them to generate the case number. The last time I called on April 7, they said " your case just arrived today......" . Both times I called, they answered really quick after I gave them USCIS case number. It made me feel like they didn't check on the system. Anyone has a the same issue?

  15. your case probably got put in the batch to be sent to the NVC on the 1st. The 7th is probably when the batches were actually sent. They send batches at all different times. whenever they want.. it might be weekly, bi-weekly every few days.. who knows. NVC receives mail all day long... if you call in the morning and your case isn't there yet, you should call again in the evening.

We were lucky... it only took 11 days for our case to be received and assigned a case number. Getting a case number the same day really helped us fly through.

    GOOD LUCK.

Yes, your answers are believable. But why NVC said they have received my case when I called them? I called on April 7 afternoon. Did they just said " we have received your case but it doen't enter to the system......"to finish my call?
  16. NVC will take 4 to 6 weeks to enter your case into their system and will be able to give you a Case # and IIN. Maybe after 2 weeks you should start calling them to find out if the Case# is available. Meanwhile, why not enter your info in the form so it goes into the spreadsheet that Ms Saylin is maintaining (read post 1 in this thread).

BTW you have a beautiful baby. Our love to her.

Thanks! My son 4 months old today :).

I know NVC will takes 4-6 weeks to enter cases to system. The funny thing is NSC said case was forwarded to NVC on APRIL 7. NVC confirmed to me case was received on April 7 that is the day NSC shipped out my case??????????(the date in an email I received today). And I got another message from NSC on April 1 and my case status now is "

On April 1, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."

    That made my confused .........

  17. I received an email from NSC this morning, reply to my email sent to them almost month ago (Mar 13)

    Regards,

    USCIS Nebraska Service Center

In this email, NSC said that my case and all supporting documents were forwarded to NVC on April 7. On April 7, I called NVC and they said my case has been arrived at their office but not entering to system yet. Where is the truth?
