  1. I just finished the call to NVC, asked them about my IV Invoice. The old man very nice to explain to me something( I said "old man" because I guess on his voice :) ). At first, my IV Invoice will be available no later than this week as he can write a note or do something in my casefile. He said IV Invoicing now takes longer than normal due to backlog. For those who submitted DS-261 twice or more and nothing changes on the form. He said that is website error and NVC knows that. They process on the first submit if the form is the same. He answer that when I ask which date I counting to 30 days......So, in my case, I counting from May 8( first submit) but he assured as I wrote above, maybe he is a supervisor :). And the second, AOS and IV. He said today NVC reviewing the package that has been scanned into the system on May 9 and a bit 12. My AOS package scanned on May 20, he also said I may have update on AOS Package in the end of next week.

FYI : I dialed 38 times and on hold for 72 mins :)

  2. i just found out that i have the same problem....my DS 261 just went into "incomplete" mode after saying "complete" for over a week now. So do i resubmit or just leave it alone. I'm still waiting for the IV to be invoiced for payment I already sent in my AOS packet

I completed on May 8, and then Incompleted on May 20. I did resubmit it, called NVC, they said my DS-261 added into casefile on May 8 ( first submitted). I know another member in VJ had a same problem, she did resubmit and called NVC, that form added into the casefile on the date of second submitted. So you just call NVC to see is that OK or you need to submit again

  3. Hey guys quick update on the AOS fee. Today the funds were withdrawn and the status does show as paid. So conclusively it was the lawyers fault and she must have entered the the account or routing number wrong. So thank you to everyone who contributed to helping me figure this out.

Anyway, at 13 days my IV fee is not yet invoiced. Anyone know how random it is or is it consisrent? I was under the impression it takes from 10-14 days, is this correct?

IV Fee invoice takes me 25 days so far, still NOT INVOICED

  4. Hello everyone . So my hubby paid the AOS and sent the package like two weeks ago but the IV is not available yet to be paid... I've been checking for two weeks now is it normal?

The AOS Fee and IV Fee are not the same, but the DS-261 is relate to IV Fee Invoicing. Once you completed the DS-261, the IV Fee will be invoiced within 30 Business days from the day its completed. On our case, I online submitted it on May 8, three weeks now but still NOT INVOICED. Losing my hope and frustrated. 10.5 months wait on USCIS for approval and now 2 months already at NVC still waiting for what someone else just got in almost 10 days since DS-261 has been completed.

  5. I just checked this morning, and the DS261 I completed about a month ago is showing as'incomplete' this morning.

is this normal? Should I resubmit it? I"m worried resubmitting it will delay further the processing.

Right now, I'm at a point where I am waiting for the aos and iv packet to be reviewed from may 7th.

That is exactly what my problem so I know why. Everytime you click On COMPLETED to Review the form, it will be back to INCOMPLETED. If you want it Completed, just Resubmit the form :). I did it twice on May 8 and May 20, lucky NVC told me the one added to my casefile is May 8

  6. Did anyone submit the DS 260 form on behalf of your wife and stepson (my case) and sign it and also fill out at the end the preparer piece.

    Please advise

I did for my sister before, I filled out the form, wrote down my info in Preparer part. My sister just log in to Form Portal and "Sign and Submit". Because DS-260 required to sign by Applicant, even someone help them to fill out. That is E-Signature so anyone can sign it. But I aware that NVC tracking on IP Address, so they know the person who signed that form living in USA, of course, that is not an Applicant.

  7. I just called NVC minutes ago, on hold 58 minutes for 1 minute conversation. I tell them my problem by submitted DS-261 twice, on May 8 and May 20. They said in my casefile, the DS-261 was submit on May 8(thanks God). But, they have to review it before issue a IV Fee bill. Expect 30 BUSINESS days from May 8. Told them I am worry about that form is missing some info or incorrect....They said nothing wrong with my form, just wait for review.
