congratulations! My online status didn't even change until AFTER we had received the physical green card in the mail which was about 7 calendar days after we got the text. So, it's not abnormal for the online stuff to not accurately reflect what's going on in real time!

The abnormal is I DID NOT receive the Approval letter in the mail. Did you receive the approval letter before the green card?

  2. Hi everyone.

I didn't receive the approval letter yet. But this morning I got the email and text update from USCIS. Everyone has a same issue? My case status never change since "Case Was Received". I checked last night, the status still the same but this morning.......The process look like abnormal, that's why I asking someone if it happens. Thanks

I saw this in my USPS Informed Delivery Daily Digest today. I'm at work so I do not know what is inside the envelope. I am not sure if it is an REF or approval letter. Any experts here?

  5. Yes, I asked for the supervisor and explained to her about I-797 and the processing time that USCIS takes on this application is about a year. No luck, she said " Our policy for maximum extending the driver license is 4 months. You can try another location if you think they will do a year for you ". Really bad experience

We living in Georgia, can someone tell me which DDS office can do it better?

    Thanks

  6. Hi VSJ's.

I am a US Citizen filling ROC for my wife. I have confused when filling I-751 form, in the children part. We have a son who is US CITIZEN at birth. My wife only had a child with me, so I put his name in the children part even he isn't applying for the ROC. I had a daughter, she is 20 years old with my previous marriage and is US Citizen also. Do we need to add her on the children part? The package already sent to USCIS without my daughter's name on children part. Is it the problem, or we will have RFE with that?

    Thank you very much.

  7. I bet I get a checklist when they review my IV package because by the time they DO review it, my police certificate will be over six months old. The London embassy accepts them up to a year after their creation, but I don't think NVC would follow the same protocol. Nuts.

Don't worry, I talked to supervisor before about this matter. She said that you wont have a checklist for it. But you need to bring the new one during interview.

  8. my wife lives in her familly house with her lil boy(9year old) her parent 2 ancles, 1 aunt ,her big son and his fiance and thier 2 new born babies( total including her 11 person ) which they all work

what we should put on rhis question

    nabil_zps0a7471f9.jpg

It depends on how many people your wife has claimed in her tax return. For example, she just claimed her lil boy as the depend on tax return. So in I846, total household will be 3. Those are herself, her son and you

  9. Hey guys i had one last question. My wife will be giving birth at the end of august and her interview is in september. Do you guys think i can apply for passport and birth abroad certificate the same day as her interview if i bring all required paperwork for the baby?or am i better off just making an appointment for the baby before the interview.

Most of Consulate/Embassy has separate US Citizen Service and Visa Unit. Department of US Citizen Service only works on appointment so you can't do on the same day as interview unless you have appointment on that day. But they still process in separate department. In other words, the Consulate Officer who interview your spouse has no role to do anything on CRBA/Passport for your child

  10. My wife has been the strongest through this whole process, even though she's broke down a lot lately. She's always would quote this, "God never tells us no, he has three options. Yes, not right now, or I have something better in mind.". It's hard, but patience was something we really learned during this process..

    All the best!

Congrats, happy when heard this from you. Mine maybe next week :)

  11. what does this means

    ______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________

You need to complete Form DS-261, Online Choice of Address and Agent. Go to our website

    ceac.state.gov to complete the DS-261.

-- Already Submitted ds 261 on 22nd may

So funny, I had a checklist for the fee I already paid, if not, how can I got document cover sheet and submit DS-260? You had a checklist for DS-261 that must be done before pay for IV FEE. If not ( incompleted, incorrected....)how can you paid for IV FEE? :)

  12. Does anyone heard about Checklist for FEE PAYMENT?

I received this checklist via email when at work. So confused, I logged in CEAC right away and saw status of IV FEE is NOT PAY, button PAY NOW appear as clickable. When I clicked it, it forwarded to the payment page......seem like I did not pay it before. After work, I logged in again to see what happen, the status changed back to PAID. Dont know what going on?

    ______FEE PAYMENT:_________________________________________________

You still need to pay the Immigrant Visa Fee. You can pay the fee online at ceac.state.gov/iv. You will need the following information to pay the fee online:

    NVC Case Number: XXXXXXXXX.

     Invoice I.D.: XXXXXXXX

If you are unable to pay online, you must submit your fee using the alternative payment option by submitting a cashier's check or money order. For alternative payment instructions, please visit our website immigrantvisas.state.gov.

  13. CONGRATULATIONS to all the Case Completes today. Great to see lot's of Friday progress.

Are they still working docs from May 22nd, or has anyone latter than that had docs reviewed yet? I'm a scan date of May 27th for AOS, so just curious to see when I'll get my false checklist.

Your docs has scanned on May 27, so I think next week is your week. Because NVC will be processing May 23 and then May 27. May 24/25 are weekend and May 26 is Holiday that they didn't scanning any docs into the system.

  14. Just got off the call from NVC, my AOS Package has been approved without a checklist. Thanks God !!!

Date scanned May 20, to all of you guys got confused (blank or N/A)here is my I-864 filled

    - In part 3( Family members) = Blank

    - In part 7(Assets to supplement income)= I put 0.00 on all of lines

    - I put N/A on all of lines that I can input by computer( not handwrite )

  15. so they had room on your case status and not mine? :P

I wish i knew what it was before. I have a feeling that everything was bold before.

Can you check the attached screenshot and tell me if you have the two boxed items as bold or not bold?

    attachicon.gifUntitled.jpg

When I said "the same" that means mine the same as the attached screenshot. It does not means the same font on mine.
